I tried flashing a new ROM on my SCH-I535 (Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3) and accidentally bricked my phone. My phone currently allows me to do two things. First, I can enter download mode and second, I can hit the power button, but the device will freeze on the logo screen. I CANNOT enter recovery mode. I tried putting my phone into download mode then connecting it to my computer but nothing happens. I tried various USB ports including ones directly on the motherboard. I am using a working, official Samsung USB cable that came with the phone. Any ideas?

I installed wrong rom to my galaxy xcover. Now my phone is hardbricked. If i press power nothing will not happen, but if i plug usb into it start charging and then i can put the power on. But when power is on, i can only see samsung logo. I've tried to put it downloading mode to flash it via Odin, but it doesnt go to downloading mode. Is there some way to get my phone working?
If device turned on, it's shows Galaxy tab 2 10.1 logo and reboot. Recovery mode doesn't work, if press Power on + volume up it's shows "manual mode" with android on background for few second and tablet reboots don't shown recovery menu. I tried to turn Download mode (Power on + volume down), it's turning on and I press volume up for continue, but when i connect tablet to pc ODIN doesn't see device, and PC too - it don't have sound of new device. All driver are installed, I tried to connect to another PC and all USB ports on PC but it doesn't help. Cable is fine, cause it charges tablet from PC and wall adapter.
Other android devices (Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note 2) works with PC and ODIN very well.
I need help. What is the problem with device? Can I got photos, music and etc. from tablet? :crying:
P.S. I'm sorry for my bad english, cause I'm actually russian.

No one has taken a crack at this one yet. Let's have a go. First off, you're leaving out a lot of information. We'll forgive since it's your first post. What ROM are you on? Because it sounds like you flashed something that is not for your device. Have you used Odin before with this device? If this is the first time you may be missing something. It sounds like you have used it before though. I've had lots of issues getting Odin to connect with the device before. If you're getting download mode you're not dead yet. I have a Tab 2 P3100, bricked with Odin. I was using a flash file that I've used many times before on the same laptop, with the same cable, and the same tablet.
Something went wrong and Odin displayed an error saying there's no PIT partition .
I've tried to use different PCs and cables, still not working.
I'm stuck now at the emergency recovery page, and when connected to Kies it just hangs on "Connecting...". The device does charge alright but I cannot turn it off (it reboots instead of shutting down when I long press the power button).
I think it might be going into download mode when I hold power button + vol down, but I'm not sure as it gives me a blank black screen and gets a bit hot on the left upper corner.
Any Ideas ?

UPDATE: I managed to find "loose" solder points on the USB port and replaced the whole port altogether, What I'm facing now is that after I flash the device with official stock ROM, Odin3 seems to finish the work and flash the whole ROM to the device, but when I try to reboot the device it's still stuck on emergency recovery screen.

1. At first the phone will switch on only while connected to charger. Even if its switched on it will just show the start page with Samsung logo and phone model only.
2. I have replaced the battery and tried but it shows the same result. Doesn’t charged up but can switch on the phone (only to start screen with Samsung logo and phone model) with connecting to charger e or PC.
3. The mobile phone is not detected by the PC, but the same has detected by odin. I have passed in odin but unable to access the recovery mode by pressing volume up+home+power buttons. ( i can access downloading mode)
4. Finally I tried to flash stock rom with Odin and it shows Fail.
Appreciate your help.

downloaded the pack from sammobile.com/firmwares/confirm/36920/S7582DDUANJ1_S7582ODDANJ1_INS/[/url]
flashed with odin- at first it showed reset on blue back ground. the phone re started and again struck on the page with samsung logo and model number. then odin showed pass.
but still my phone struck on the same screen. nothing works

Bro exact same things happened with me, listen just connect it to a charger, after hmmmm approx 15mint you will see the phone is charging, and then turn on your device while in charging it will take around 40mint boot up, and after booting every thing will work fine, trust me this had happened with me in past, i hate Samsung and s duos 2 gt-s7582. And you know what every time i turn off the phone its take around 40mint to turn on again. I don't know why it take that much time in boot. Just try my method that will help.
Hey all,
a couple years back I messed up this S7 where I tried to get LineageOS running on it. Phone bricked, and has been stuck on Bootloop ever since.
Now I wanted to reflash a stock image, only problem is that I can't completely access download mode.
I reach the green screen with the warning message, but I can't press Volume Up or Volume Down to do anything else. Odin doesn't recognize it either.
So I am kinda stuck not being able to connect my phone to my computer at all for debugging purposes. I also tried to the VolUp + VolDown with USB cable with no success.
If anyone has clues where I could start my debugging, that would be great. Thanks.
I do have access to the battery to unplug it.
EDIT: I somehow managed to get into Odin Mode on my phone (I dont even know how, I held the button for more than a minute), but it's still not recognized on my Desktop.
EDIT 2: I tested the cable on my second S7, so it's not the connection. My PC won't pickup the damn thing no matter what I do
