[Q] Restore Nexus 5 lock animation (CRT screen) - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone, I just got my Nexus 5 and I enjoy the CRT animation when I lock the phone. However, the lock animation suddenly gone. Anyone can advice how to bring back the CRT lock animation again?
I don't root my phone, so my Nexus 5 is in stock condition.

I am not sure without root/unlock but maybe you can try to restore to default settings. Backup your phone data. With root, you could install xposed and keep stock rom/kernel anyway and get CRT animations. (hope you tried to reboot phone first )

Did you turn off window animations in developer settings?

[Q] Power On animation disappeared

Hi im new to the android community.
I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S GT-i9000 and it is a really good phone, but i tried to root it and was running mcr scripts. when mcr scripts had finished i turned off my mobile and turned it back on and the opening animation wasnt there anymore just the sound.
I have tried to go into recovery mode and erase to factory settings but that didnt work. When i did that i saw that mcr scripts is still on my phone and i cant delete it.
I was wandering if there is a way to bring back the opening animation and to format my phone so it can go back to the way it was when i bought it

[Q] Nexus One Boot Animation

I am trying to give my phone a AOSP look, is there a way that I can have the Nexus One Boot Animation for the SGS4G (Using Valhalla v1.1) and is there a way that I could disable the shutdown boot animation?

[request] CRT off animation on verizon galaxy s3

so i flashed the rom called JELLYBomB_VRALHE_RLS3 and i was wondering if someone could make a flashable zip of the CRT off so i can flash it thru CWM recovery, would be greatly appreciated, also i was wondering if anyone knew how to diable the notification screen on. it gets annoying everytime i get a text the whole screen turns on. thank you for your time.

[Q] Lock Screen Animation Missing

Lock Screen Animation Missing on my phone LG Optimus One running the CM10 4.1 Unofficial Rom from the Official Android Development Section.
I remember I had the little flash animation when I hit my lock button, but now when I lock it it just fades out without the little flash animation.
I'm not sure why is it missing, help please? Thanks in advance.
It can be enabled under settings > display > screen-off animation

Moto G launcher - bootanim loop

Hi,
I have an XT1032.
1. In stock, locked bootloader, I let the OTA 5.0 and 5.1 updates run (so it's on 5.1's bootloader and radio now).
2. After a week, I realised I don't like 5.1, as GPS has issues for me in navigation apps.
3. I unlocked bootloader, installed TWRP and downgraded using the optimised 4.4.4 zip + NoMoto v004.zip.
4. Got scrolling lines at first boot, but no other problems for about 2 weeks. I LOVED 4.4.4 compared to 5.1, much better GPS performance!
5. After two weeks, my device went crazy: it went into a boot loop, where the boot logo kept appearing for 10 seconds, then launcher screen (pattern lock), then boot anim, then pattern lock etc. There was no way to power off the device, it always kept turning on.
6. I went into recovery and did a factory restore, it fixed it.
7. After I set up the phone again, in a few hours, I got the boot loop AGAIN.

8. After this I decided to install 5.1 optimised, which works perfectly.
However, as GPS is better on 4.4.4, I'd still like to go back to 4.4.4.
My questions:
1. What can be the crazy lockscreen - bootlogo - lockscreen - bootlogo loop?
2. How can I fix it (if I install 4.4.4 again)?
3. Is it related to having the bootloader from 5.1? The scrolling lines are not a problem but this boot loop is.
