Hi everyone!
I want to instal custom ROM on my smartphone, but i have one problem with that. In service menu i can see something like that "bootloader unlock allowed no". Can i solve my problem alone in home?
I will be grateful for any help.
If you have "bootloader unlock allowed no", then you can install only stock based ROMs. Unfortunatelly, you won't be able to install CyanogenMod. I have the same problem and i understand that pain :/. You can only root but can't unlock BL, unless you will pay for this (not me, i have no idea how to do that)
Sock ROM
Hi guys,i have this problem too...my xperia E is bootloader status unlock : NO... Please can you give me link to Stock roms? My phone is rooted....Thanks.
There is way to unlock it even if flag is no, but its paid method i did it with my xperia e you will need to find someone with setool2 to do it for you but like i said its not free.

Hi
All
I have got a very quick question to ask and hope somebody can help me. I have got an Xperia play R800i. I used a program called SuperOneClick to root my phone. After using this program I got superuser access so that means my phone is rooted. But how do i unlock the bootloader.
Because according to the sony erricsson website when i type in that code *#*#7378423#*#* into my phone it says that i can not unlock my bootloader. I dont understand if i have rooted my phone my bootloader should be unlock write. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Also do i need an unlocked bootloader to install CyanogenMod 7 on my phone even if i have rooted it.
Many
Thanks
Mohammed
Anybody Please ?
Hi,
I did research using uncle google but I can't find any good answer.
So the question is: Is possible to unlock boot loader with any other method than official sony web site?
I'm interested if it's even test point method because on my J "Bootloader unlock Status" says No.
Maybe I should flash something jet like simlock.sin?
Any ideas?
Phone was sim locked before but it is already (sim) unlocked by code, unfortunately status remain the same.
Can anyone help with that?
Thom

sent from my Sony Xperia e dual
Hey guys, im new to this forums so first of all, hello everybody.
so, i have this xperia l, and im not new to android devices, and i want to flash a kernel and a rom (more specificly, thunderzcap and ios7)
the problem is, i cant unlock my bootloader. In that screen after you type that weird combination of numbers in the dialer it says that i just cant do it (not allowed). I read it somewhere that i need my simlock code and something else, but according to what i know (and i dont want to believe t) this means it is permantly locked.
So anyone here knows how to solve it? I would defenitly love to unlock the bootloader so i can flash a kernel... or im stuck with my phone? i know there are other roms but it isnt the same thing...
Thanks in advance
If it's locked there is no going around it. So answer is no, if it says on the phone that bootloader is locked you can't unlock it. And there are NO roms that work with locked bootloader. For you to be able to flash a ROM on it you must have unlockable bootloader.
Sorry to give you bad news but that is way things are in your case.
Nothing you can do.................for now.
If we can get CWM going on the phone, we can flash packages. From there, if this can be extended to our phone, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2595238 then we can run CM variants on top of stock, and thus there is hope for the locked bootloader people, like myself, hopefully.
Hi,
I am a beginner. I reag this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2743694
I just bought an Xperia phone M2. It is block in the Vodafone network.
"Bootloader unlock not allowed"
What to do, what are the steps to use it on another network?
Thank you,
There is no way around it I am afraid. Your bootloader cannot be unlocked and that's it. I am in the same boat as you, except mine is from T-mobile. The only thing that we can hope for is that someone will find a way to root the Xperia's M2 stock 4.3.2 rom without flashing a custom kernel or recovery. Hopefully there will be custom roms based on stock in future, but we can forget about roms like CM, Paranoid etc.
Oh and btw, simlock is not the same thing as perma locked bootloader. You can remove the simlock, but that won't change the "Bootloader unlock allowed:" to "Yes". This was already confirmed in the Xperia SP forums. There were rumors that custom mobile shops can change the bootloader status, but we are yet to see any confirmation about this. Also, even if they can do it, it is still questionable if the fastboot mode will be there at all.
Thancs!
Here is a way to unlock your M2 http://www.xperiacodes.com/shop/unlock-sony-xperia/unlock-sony-xperia-m2/
hey guys, I've noticed that almost all of you have the bootloader of your Sony Xperia E JB (C1505) unlocked.
Mine says not allowed, I just wanted to ask if you guys that have it unlocked, had the same ''status'' as mine, or if there is any way that I can unlock my bootloader...
I have my phone rooted but with the bootloader unlocked the possibilities are not comparable
I really wanted to change the rom, my kernel (to be able to overclok etc), but im afraid I can't to that
Please give me an answer

To unlock bootloader follow the instructions from Sony Mobile: developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader
I had to send my mobile to Sony service center to change the Rooting Status: Bootloader unlock allowed: No to Yes.
Good luck.
