(ROM)(AOSP) Team Gummy-Weekly - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

GUMMY
Gummy ROM is made for speed, stability and to stay as closely in line with AOSP as possible while still supporting a large amount of devices and giving you all of the features you love. It isn’t slowed down by features you’ll never use nor is it so slim as to be just another AOSP build.
Features:
* New base built from AOSP
* Status Bar Mods
* Theme Manager
* Hardware Key Mod
* Lock Screen Mod
* Many Wallpapers
* Performance Control
* Application Permission Controls
* Carrier Label Options
* Background Style
* Lock clock widget
Instructions for installations:
DO NOT USE TWRP. ONLY THE LATEST CLOCKWORK MOD
1. Download ROM
2. Download Gapps
3. Push to sdcard
4. Reboot Recovery
5. Wipe Data and Cache
6. Install ROM
7. Install Gapps
8. Reboot System
Contributions:
* Thank you to Cyanogenmod for device and hardware repositories. Without this, porting Gummy to QCOM devices would have been nearly impossible.
* Thank you to Google for the best source code.
* androidfilehost.com for hosting our file servers!
*Thank you to rhcp and the other developers at #lg-g2-dev for helping bring this device up to 4.4. It was a group effort.

Seeing how I was the one who requested this feature I'll gladly test when I get a chance maybe later today.

Is Bluetooth just as buggy in this as the other CM11 roms?

To be honest, I have no idea. Will you test for me?

New thread with promise, only a few posters in here, be nice, or be prepared to deal with PM's from me.

Update
Download link here shortly...
Hopefully, you guys will get a notification from the goo app that there is an update. If not, let me know...

Update available
Now that I have the Skyrocket officially supported, I will be posting weekly updates. Goo app seems to be working well, but be aware the download sometimes times out, especially during peak times. Always download on wif connection (if you can) and try to download the updates during off peak hours. It's the goo servers, and when they are backed up, we all suffer...lol
Enjoy folks!

Glad to see Skyrocket is officially supported.
I used 1-01-24-14-UNOFFICIAL for about two weeks and only issue was randomly screen will take long time to turn on.
It happened couple of times also with incoming calls. The ringtone will start but after ~10 secs still nothing on the screen.
Recently moved to 1-01-29-14-UNOFFICIAL and haven't had this problem any more.
I'll try the weekly.
Great work, thanks.

That was kernel related bug. Depending on which gov/scheduler you use, occasionally there was a horrible lag when coming out of deep sleep after the battery level dropped below 75%. But it was so intermittent, I though I was the only one having the problem...lol

It happened again on 1-01-29-14-UNOFFICIAL. Call comes in, ringtone play and nothing on the screen until I manually turn it on by pressing the power button.
I'm using "Interactive" scheduler.
Will the latest Weekly bring any benefit?

Interactive is the governor. If that's the governor you're using, I would recommend switching the scheduler to noop.
I would also flash the latest version (Weekly) as it includes some kernel fixes that addresses issues like this...

* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
This is an AOSP-based build with extra contributions from many people which you can use without any type of Google applications. I found a link from some other project that can be used to restore the Google parts, which can be found below or elsewhere in the thread. I've still included the various hardware-specific code, which seems to be slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Visit the CHANGELOG for a full list of changes and features!
All source code is available at the CyanogenMod Github!

5. Optionally install the Google Addon
- Upgrading from earlier CM6?
1. Do a Nandroid Backup!
2. Install the ROM (your Google apps will be backed up automatically)
HOW TO REPORT BUGS OR PROBLEMS?
- Was it a hard reboot? Get me the file "/proc/last_kmsg".
- Was it a soft reboot or a "boot loop"? Run "adb logcat" and get me the full output.
- Pastebin links preferred
- Please use the issue tracker whenever possible!

This bulk of this PROJECT is still largely (overwhelmingly) the result of the efforts of cyanogen and team cyanogenMod.
I need to be crystal clear that I didn't do this by myself in a vacuum. This was a team effort. I'd like to thank cyanogen, who pointed me in the right direction when I had a false start and has now integrated this device project into cyanogenmod..
I'd like to thank Eugene, who got me started.
I'd like to thank the entire crew at irc channel #liberatedAria for helping so many noobs get started so I could do other stuff, but especially endeng, for building the first dev environment to follow and verify my process to keep my builds honest, and for helping jznomoney also build a dev environment and continue work while I was sidetracked. jznomoney did a ton of grunt work and some good guesswork to finish up and get a largely working ROM. Atlas gave me a clue after I needed one after not sleeping for a few days.

Nightly:
It's a beautiful thing: nightly builds from the cyanogenMod buildbot - these are builds against the latest cm code repository, are experimental and may not work. But it you want to look at the very latest, this is where you'll find it:
http://mirror.kanged.net/cm/nightly/liberty/
Non-standard disclaimer:
In order to use this ROM, you must have already installed clockwork recovery. If you manage to brick your phone with this ROM from there, you are a dumb ass of unimaginable proportions, and I absolve myself of any responsibility whatsoever. Further, any damage done to your phone with this experimental software is your fault and no one else's.
FAQ
Q. I bricked my phone/my signal sucks/my cat exploded since installing this ROM.
A. See the Non-standard disclaimer above.
Q. I can't seem to flash the rom successfully, and my Nandroid backups don't restore.
A. Do NOT start Clockwork recovery by powering down the phone with the USB port plugged in. Clockwork WILL NOT operate reliably that way. Power down the phone with the USB cord disconnected so that the phone powers off properly. Then start the phone by pressing and holding the vol-down button while pressing the power button to start. After diagnostics complete, you can enter Clockwork the proper way.
Q. I lost my 3g connection after I flashed cm6, now the icon just says "H".
A. You didn't lose 3g - the H is for HSDPA, which is enhanced 3g, sometimes referred to as 3.5g. It's a good thing, if you see an "H" where the "G" used to display - don't worry about it. Print this out for next time you head to the can: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-Speed_Downlink_Packet_Access
Q. How do I keep my wifi from going to sleep every time the screen shuts off?
A. There is a hidden feature that disables wifi sleep.
menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > wifi settings > menu (again) > advanced > Wi-Fi Sleep policy > Never > menu > Save
However: although you can keep the wifi service from sleeping, the wifi driver will still sleep on it's own after detecting no bus activity for a period of time.
Q. Will this ROM support over or under clocking with Set CPU?
A. The kernel has been updated to support overclocking with SetCpu
Q. I can't get flash to work. What's going on?
A. Flash 10 is not supported by this CPU and AOSP Android does not support flash lite. Even if a hack allows installation of Flash 10, it's doubtful it will run very well.
Q. Where's the FroYo wireless hotspot?
A. It's in there!
menu > Wireless & networks > tethering and portable hotspot
Q. What's wrong with bluetooth? It doesn't work with my floozengadget.
A. Nothing. All bluetooth functions have been confirmed *WORKING* with compatible devices.
Q. But my floozengadget device is bluetooth compatible. What's wrong with bluetooth?
A. Nothing. Android AOSP bluetooth on the broadcom chipset is not compatible with every bluetooth device. Consistent compatibility issues have been noted with devices using certain parrott chipsets, certain automobiles with factory bluetooth including most Nissans, Volkswagons and an assortment of other devices and autos.
Q. Can you fix bluetooth so it will work with my floozengadget device?
A. No.
Q. Does the FM Radio work?
A. No, and there are no plans for FM radio support at this time.
Q. I miss HTC Sense. Can it be added to CM6?
A. No. HTC Sense is proprietary. Further, it is more than just a launcher and add on programs.
Q. But I really really really miss Sense. Can it be added to CM6?
A. No. And still - no. Yet - no.
Q. What's an ETA for the fixes and when will the ROM be finished?
A. No one gets a dime for this port, and no one works on it full time. It's a work in progress and as we make any significant breakthroughs, we'll update the ROM and post it. Sometimes I take time off from the project just to be a wise ass and beat on jznomoney. I don't know how any of this answers the question, but if it conveys an urgency to meet a schedule, then I recommend reading the answer over and over again until it doesn't.
Q. My widgets don't load or I am missing icons on the desktop or in folders.
A. The sdcard mounts late in the startup process - later than when desktop icons and widgets are loaded. This is a problem inherent in Android 2.2 and manifests itself when an application/widget is moved to the sdcard that has a presence on the Desktop. This is not a bug in this ROM, it's apps2sd in FroYo.
Q. If this is cyanogenmod, then how come it doesn't work exactly like it does on xyzphone?
A. Good question. I guess mostly because it's not an xyzphone.
Q. May I use your work and customize it and republish it?
A. My work is a small portion of this project. Ask cyanogen specifically about what you want to do and if he's okay with it, who am I to argue? Do not ever claim the work you are using as your own or fail to give cyanogen or his team credit for the project and my group credit for the device port or you will be on a lot of s-lists faster than you can hit your spacebar. I don't think cyanogenmod should be skinned up for redistribution.
Q. May I republish this ROM, giving proper credit?
A. Get permission first.
Q. Will you put out customized/skinned versions of this ROM?
A. No. This is meant to be a clean port of cyanogenmod for the HTC Aria, and nothing more. cyanogenmod is an awesome project, and I don't plan to detract from what it is in any way shape or form by customization. Once you install it, you are free to do whatever you like with it. You are of course also free to build flash-able skins and whatever mods you'd like to share.

figures my first new bug report would be a spelling correction in my post.
This is fantastic I'm flashing right now. To those asking about the camera, I can't really answer your question, but I can input this little tidbit; On the Clean Eclair ROM, the camera was functioning, but didn't handle colors properly, everything had a blue tint to it that led to the inversing of a number of colors (mostly blues with reds and vice versa), which led to some quite interesting photographs although that's not necessarily everyones cup of tea
Also take note, not all the colors you see there are a direct result of the camera, I use CameraFX for all those shots altering the color IT applied to the picture as well, although there were things I had no control over, i.e. the lighter pictured is red with a blue button, the actual lighter is red with a blue button.

[Firmware][ICS]UNOFFICIAL CM9 for the Infuse 4G (07/28/2012)

DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETELY READ THIS POST AND THE FAQ.
Since jt1134 is no longer supporting his CM9 releases here on XDA and asking people to go elsewhere for support, I have decided to start building CM9 for the Infuse.
Much of the credit goes to him for doing the initial ICS bringup for Infuse, I'm working on fixing some of the things that are not yet working. Even more goes to LinuxBozo - without his CM7 work we would be nowhere.
http://d-h.st/vN1 - 06/20/2012 build
http://d-h.st/ahW - 06/27/2012 build
http://d-h.st/Pfr - 07/28/2012 build
Installation instructions-from a Gingerbread firmware with "red CWM":
Place this release and an ICS gapps release on your SD card.
Flash this ZIP in CWM
Reboot - you will get stuck at the Samsung screen
Reboot to recovery again using the three-finger salute - hold down VolUp+VolDn+Power until the device reboots, release Power after the reboot, continue holding VolUp+VolDn
Go to Mounts and Storage and format: system, data, cache
Flash this ZIP a second time, then flash gapps
Reboot and enjoy
Coming from any AOSP-based firmware with "blue CWM":
Flash this, flash gapps, wipe. That should be all you need.
What is working:
Calls
GPS
Sound
Video playback
What is partially working:
Camera (minor flakiness, but mostly working)
Car dock audio (possibly desk dock too, untested) - Some issues with ringtone playback when docked - This is native dock audio, not using the Car Dock Redirector app workaround. Thanks go to StevenHarperUK of the GT-I9100 community for reworking CM9's dock audio code to permit this to work.
Wifi - It frequently loses connection when the device is asleep. Most likely needs some SDHCI driver tweaks to match the N7000 wifi driver.
Wifi Direct - A little glitchy but mostly working with I777/N7000. Won't talk to a P7510 (Tab 10.1) though.
Bluetooth - A2DP (music) and SCO (call audio) now works. However BT power management (LPM) is currently disabled, so BT may eat your battery when on.
Not working:
TV Output - No one has gotten MHL fully working on any Samsung device yet to my knowledge. There's some promising results from the I9100 community but it's not there yet.
Known issues:
SetCPU seems to be unable to set the minimum frequency to 100 MHz. This is one of the main reasons for holding off on OC - even stock clock code isn't working quite right
Facebook contact sync has been blocked by Google in ICS - this is universal to ICS on all devices I'm aware of. Facebook got what they deserved here.
Building - Use the Source, Luke
Kernel source is at: https://github.com/teamhacksung/android_kernel_samsung_dempsey
Device repo at: https://github.com/teamhacksung/android_device_samsung_infuse4g
To build, first prep your system for a Cyanogenmod build by following the instructions at:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Building_from_source
Once you have done the first "repo sync", at the two following lines to .repo/local_manifest.xml
Code:
<project path="device/samsung/infuse4g" name="teamhacksung/android_device_samsung_infuse4g" remote="github"/>
<project path="kernel/samsung/dempsey" name="teamhacksung/android_kernel_samsung_dempsey" remote="github" />
Run "repo sync" again
Sync https://github.com/TheMuppets/proprietary_vendor_samsung/ into vendor/samsung
Drop the contents of the attached tarball into vendor/samsung
(I really need to clean that process up...)
Run:
Code:
. build/envsetup.sh && brunch infuse4g
FAQ
Q: I get weird rainbows in recovery and when my device boots? What gives?
A: This is what happens when a Gingerbread or ICS kernel is booted on a device with Froyo bootloaders. You will need to either live with the rainbows (recovery is at least partially usable with the rainbows now) or flash Gingerbread bootloaders. Stay tuned for more info on bootloader flashing.
Unfortunately, the classic "rainbow fix" we used for Gingerbread is not compatible with how video acceleration is set up in ICS. The rainbowfix will just cause the device to crash immediately on boot. (I think this is why jt was not successful with LinuxBozo's CM7 source.)
Q: I'm getting rainbows, how do I flash Gingerbread bootloaders?
Flash the bootloaders from the file attached to this post using Heimdall as follows:
Code:
heimdall flash --primary-boot boot.bin --secondary-boot Sbl.bin
DO NOT do this unless you are experiencing rainbows, and DO NOT do this until you have confirmed you can flash less dangerous stuff (like kernels) with Heimdall. If the flash fails you will hardbrick!
Thanks to LinuxBozo for confirming, way back in the days of UCKJ2, that Heimdall can safely flash bootloaders from leaks. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18539754#post18539754 - Be warned, once you do this step there is no going back. For whatever reason the Infuse won't flash dumped bootloaders, so there is no known way to return to Froyo and Rogers Gingerbread bootloaders.
Change Log
7/28/2012:
Removed 1000 MHz cpufreq step - the extra frequency step was causing all sorts of weird derpage.
Fixed 1200 MHz step (it was using the wrong PLL settings)
Moved to open source sensor HAL
7/22/2012:
Major improvements to camera flash functionality - torch is still broken but most other flash functions work
EXIF info (including rotation) is now saved. However I had to disable JPEG thumbnail generation, which slows down viewing of images in gallery
Structural changes to the repos to make things cleaner - Once two patches get merged by CM I plan on submitting Infuse for official nightlies
CPU clock handling for GPU bus frequency was changed from a policy change (min freq bumped to 200 MHz in policy, which would cause some apps to "stick" the min at 200) to a DVFS lock. Min no longer bumps up to 200 - however any time the GPU is active it'll still lock to 200 MHz.
6/27/2012:
Discovered our device has a Broadcom BT chipset - the CG2900 is NOT used for Bluetooth. BT is now fully functional other than possible power management issues
6/20/2012:
Various upstream stuff
Wifi Direct support added - partially glitchy (see OP)
Bluetooth support brought up to CM7 levels (Audio stuff is still broken)
5/27/2012:
New wifi driver from GT-N7000 Update3 source drop: Hopefully will improve wifi for those with issues
New LPM (charging while off) code from I9100
All upstream changes since last build, including lockscreen weather
5/19/2012:
Lots of upstream CM9 changes, including theme engine and customizable lockscreen
Settings->Advanced now works. mDNIE settings (tested) and HSPA+ control (untested)
A small patch that might help wifi driver loading issues, but not guaranteed (gokhanmoral reverted it within a day in his case...)
5/2/2012:
Pulled in a few wifi fixes from gokhanmoral's I9100 SiyahKernel tree. May help those who are having wifi issues.
4/23:
Fixed wifi MAC address getting set randomly on every boot
4/22:
Misc stuff from CM9 upstream
New wifi driver backported from the I9100 update4 sources and pershoot's Tab 10.1 kernel - Fixes wifi tethering!
USB tethering removed until I can make the RNDIS driver play with the new net/wireless code - not even sure if it was working to begin with.
4/19:
No more banding in recovery (thank codeworkx for this one, exact same fix as for I9100)
FFC is no longer cropped to one corner of the sensor. Full resolution support for FFC still not implemented
Various upstream changes

I believe that was primarily used to eliminate the need for Samsung's proprietary RFS/FSR modules.
It doesn't carry a speed benefit, but it's beneficial in the long run for kernel developers.
Current differences between my build and jt's last:
1) I haven't put AriesParts in yet - half of the features don't work
2) Overclock is not in yet - The overclock code from netarchy/LB is ancient and needs to be reworked. Voltage control is in there though
3) Car dock audio redirection is working, using a built-in CM9 approach instead of a separate dock audio redirector app. I had to make some changes in libaudio of aries-common to fix this. Probably some more work needs to be done here - ringtones when docked are iffy.
Great work... blindly flashing now based on developer name.
Sounds great.. I just got jt1134's build 2 installed and working..
Looking forward to seeing what you put together for us. Always great stuff coming from you!!

Since jt1134 is no longer supporting his CM9 releases here, I have decided to start building CM9 for the Infuse.
Much of the credit goes to him for doing the initial ICS bringup for Infuse, I'm working on fixing some of the things that are not yet working.
http://d-h.st/x53 - 4/15/2012 build
Installation instructions-from a Gingerbread firmware with "red CWM":
Place this release and an ICS gapps release on your SD card.
Flash this ZIP in CWM
Reboot - you will get stuck at the Samsung screen
Reboot to recovery again using the three-finger salute - hold down VolUp+VolDn+Power until the device reboots, release Power after the reboot, continue holding VolUp+VolDn
Go to Mounts and Storage and format: system, data, cache
Flash this ZIP a second time, then flash gapps
Reboot and enjoy
What is working:
Calls
GPS
Wifi
Sound
Camera
Video playback
What is partially working:
Camera (front camera is zoomed in excessively)
Car dock audio (possibly desk dock too, untested) - Some issues with ringtone playback when docked - This is native dock audio, not using the Car Dock Redirector app workaround. Thanks go to StevenHarperUK of the GT-I9100 community for reworking CM9's dock audio code to permit this to work.
Not working:
Wifi tethering - We need far more than the HIDDEN_SSID fix CM7 required unfortunately
Bluetooth - Not working at all, not even to CM7 levels
TV Output - No one has gotten MHL fully working on any Samsung device yet to my knowledge. There's some promising results from the I9100 community but it's not there yet.

Are you saying that he's not building any more releases, or that he just won't be releasing them here on XDA, but on rootzwiki instead. I'm confused.
Thanks for this! Did you fix/attempt to fix the problem with music coming out of the speaker when you get a notification with headphones plugged in? That's the only thing keeping me from loving ICS, since it's preventing me from listening to music at work.

I don't know what he's doing... All I know is he released his first build here but refuses to post any subsequent builds here, even though this is where all other Infuse development occurs. It's unreasonable to ask users to go to another forum just for ONE firmware, especially a forum with broken CSS stylesheets and a horrifically immature/irresponsible userbase. jt1134, imnuts, and Ezekeel are the only RW fans I've met that weren't complete douchebags and had technical skills to back up their bravado. Others think it's "kewl" to tell users to flash bootloaders all the time and then laugh at them if they hardbrick.

Yes and no...yes jt is still building...no he is not posting on XDA...jt prefer the rootzwiki site that's where he is posting....

Alright, well thanks for the quick reply. I didn't/don't know whats going on either. I'll just continue to monitor both threads and eventually things will become clearer on what he's doing. Great work on the ROM by the way! Keep it up.

Obviously I needed to quote the first OP, because that where my question originated from. And thanks for giving me the information that I was basing my question on, I know he's posting his builds on Rootzwiki, and has several threads opened up for his builds where everyone is saying something different about what he'll be doing with his releases.
He and I clearly also have differing opinions on how to go forward. My opinion - fix what's broke until you hit something insurmountable (like fully working Bluetooth on CM7).
Then add shiny destabilizing features like overclocking...

Actually you didn't but YW for clearing up your confusions....
Runs beautifully as advertised!
I spoke with Entropy.. I would like everyone to take note:
Your phone is lying to you when it says you are on H+ all the time. That would kill your battery. It will jump to H and 3G all the time. CM9 does not display H+, only H.
I found Alarm Free (HD) does the same thing as Touchwiz Clock (Alarm, Stopwatch, and Countdown). I rely on Touchwiz clock at work for testing devices times and at home for timing punishments and waking up in the morning... I felt this was important to mention.

[ROM][JB] Team EOS 3 *JELLYBEAN* Nightlies - TF101

Team EOSJB 4.1.1 TF101NIGHTLIES
Continuing on from the success of the EOS ICS roms, we present to you EOS3, based on JELLYBEAN!
It is the goal of Team EOS to develop and maintain the highest performing and most stable AOSP based rom for an array of platforms. For the latest news on Team EOS releases make sure you follow @teameos on twitter and on IRC on Freenode in #teameos.
--
NOTE: Team EOS, it’s members, friends, dogs, cats, and associates are in no way responsible for any loss of data or device functionality. Use this at your own risk!
--
A quick note on Nightlies: NIGHTLIES ARE DEVELOPMENT BUILDS. They are automatically generated every now and then, and represent the compilation of the latest commits to the code repository. While every effort is made ensure that the commits that are accepted are stable and do not have a negative impact to the overall performance and function of the builds it is not possible to test every aspect of a commits impact to the overall repo prior to it’s inclusion in a given build. As a result it is entirely possible that instabilities may be introduced as a result of a given days commits. That is the nature of the nightly system, and the risk that is taken using the latest code changes to the project.
EOS is an AOSP based rom. It is developed and maintained by Team EOS and is the culmination of our own in house development efforts.
Team EOS Nightly builds: http://goo-inside.me/devs/teameos/roms/eos3/nightlies/tf101/
G-Apps Package
Because this is an AOSP based rom Google Apps are not included in the base rom. To install Google Apps please flash the following package after installing the base rom:
Temporary Gapps package gapps
--
Features:
Because these are nightly builds the included features are constantly evolving, we do not provide a change log manually. Instead please see the changes on jenkins for your build.
For the most up to date and comprehensive listing of the changes included in this rom please visit http://review.teameos.org
Kernel:
Kernel Note: This rom is currently using the stock kernel, so you can find the sources from aosp.
--
Installation Notes:
These builds are designed to be installed from your favorite recovery.
Perform a full wipe (read Factory Reset) prior to installing this over ANY ICS or JB based rom.
BUGS!
If you find strange or otherwise unexplained errors please report them here: https://bugs.teameos.org/ Please include logcats and as thorough a description of the issue and what lead up to the issue as possible. With out this we will be unable to track down these errors.
Want to contribute to the Eos rom? Well you can!
Just follow http://teameos.org/?page_id=6 to checkout our source code, and information on how to submit changes for review.

Go into Settings
Go to "Language & input"
Scroll down to "Speech" and click on "Voice Search"
Click on "Download offline speech recognition"
Swipe Across to the "ALL" tab if needed
Download your speech pack for your language

Wifi regualatory domain changed added.
Full dock support including keyboard layout selector.
Google Search no longer crashes.
Screen now turns off when the lid is closed on the dock.

Netflix showing black means an issue with video decoding i believe
Checked camera and YouTube, the same errors me and rayman33 had. Yet in CM10 it works somehow. Need to investigate because I don't see any difference.

Sound is common, and I think I have some ideas about it. Not sure about OMX yet though, don't see any reason why they have it and we don't.

yeah a lot of cards use gps
Yup, Camera and HW video decoding aren't working yet, neither is GPS.
Google Now sorta works but when you opt into Google Cards it breaksit. Probably be fixed as mentioned already when GPS is.
Ok i Tried the rom and Plan on sticking with it....its Useable
Google Voice Search Works with out any issues however google Now FCs
The sound can be worked around with Volume Plus Configs
Chrome Works but has some issues
Graphic Performance is increased [More Fps In Dead Trigger with Tegra 3 Fx] almost no lag
Software Decoding works so videos can still be watched till the next nightly fix
Overall UI Performance and consistancy is Phenomenal ! [Just Don't Change the launcher ]
USB Joysticks Work on Games
USB NTFS Drives are Unmountable [PLEASE FIX THIS!!!]
There can be a 100 things more to talk about but to sum it up, the rom is great, just wait for some fixes and updates and thiss rom will be on top of your list!

finaly aokp comes ah yes:laugh::laugh:
ooh, JB AOKP. I was waiting for this a long time. GREAT THANK YOU!
I get that there's no changelog, but is there like a list of what doesn't work?
Cause like in JELLYTIME the BT isn't working, and since I have a work phone for calling I basically just use my phone for watching movies and listening to music while going to and from work. And I do this with a BT headset.
Of course I can (and most likely will) flash it when I get home and see for my self, but I figured I'd just ask as well

What works and doesn't is basically the same as the CM10 nightlies.
That means no bluetooth, no video recording and no teethering. Yet.
Also, this is currently stock AOKP. So it's also missing Apollo, and perhaps some other stuff.
(I haven't flashed it yet myself, but the above info are from the IRC channel where Synergy hangs).

Ok. Thanks for your answer. Guess I'll just wait with trying it out until the BT is working then. Cause I don't want to be hooked on something I can't use :silly:
Tested the rom..
It is really smooth..
Issues are almost same as those in jellytime...
Camera crashed when tried to make a video.
Bluetooth not working..
Wifi working well :good:
Font in messed up in the notification bar.it was all ok.But i guess fonts got messed up after i tried to turn on the bluetooth..
Hope to see bluetooth getting fixed up soon
keep up the good work guys :good:
Flashed right now. A bit unstable : reboot on lockscreen, when using weather (if I uncheck "use weather" checkbox, there are no reboots)
SO I don't found "screenshot" option, and there is no power menu customization.
And, what I unlike, there aren't "CPU governor" selection box :
(I hate "ondemand" governor).
Also, if user sets freq lower than 1k (i have 800 at jelytime), the smartphone begins to lag
It's power menu as is :
And, as You can see, ROM has bad translation for now (It's with Russian language).
And... what is "Swagger" toggle ?) The icon is pink hat ... and switching does nothing
I think, that it's too early to flash this rom for everyday use;
UPD > 100% reboot after automatic screen off.
It's probably for people that need to turn their swagger on. Me personally, I couldn't turn mine off even if I tried.
*jokes
Sent from my Desire HD
Get rid of that "swagger" nonsense. These young boys and girls with that swagger BS is annoying. It looks corny on the rom.
Just flashed this and its awesome. Its nice and smooth.

Upcoming Maintenance:
This coming week, 8/11-8/12, service will be interrupted due to hardware maintenance/upgrades/restructuring. Just in case someone didn't notice, the nightlies are back up. Same download link (check the OP).
The notable changes for the night are:
- Some kernel changes which benefit IO performance quite a lot
- Auto-brightness
- A bunch of changes from AOKP upstream
For more details check github.
new 815 nightlies have hw vsync/triple buffering/many video playback issues fully working now

why thank you....alot of work went into it...making sure code was done properly as well as building with gcc 4.8 for rom and sabermod 4.8 for kernel really finely tunes and optimizes the rom just perfectly
Now that it's out into the open!! The best ROM used since forever. Get 16k+ scores on antutu and whatnot. Very stable and have had no raging temperature sores. Definitely the best ROM out there. Period.
Credit goes to R3V3NT3CH for all his hard work and time spent on the development of what might be just one of the best phones with a physical keyboard till date..

There actually are a few glitches that I'm noticing, now that I've had time to play with the phone. Is there a way to disable certain services / features to get the phone to run a little better? What I'm looking for is something very bare-bones; I don't need any bells or whistles. For example, I've disabled all the animations that I could, but are there any other tips to make the phone a little more responsive?
Another problem is that the phone doesn't want to update to a newer LS, it says "Invalid ROM (liquidd2lte) & device (apexqtmo) combo!"
Any ideas?

the reason it wont update through settings is because although the relay is a d2 variant phone it is not unified for any of the d2 variant updates....hence why for now its unnoficial and not unified or seperately branched on liquids end for updates.....as for wanting something very bare liquid is not meant for this as it has a huge multitude of customizations....try using slimkat and flash my kernel over it and im sure youll find what you are looking for

Hello and thx for the nice ROM, only KITKAT makes my phone useable.
Unfortunately i have some issues.
1. No deep sleep after charging, i have to reboot to resolve that.
(performance menue changes: cpu limit to 1458 on boot)
2. Email only imap and no way for option dont delete from server?
How i change to some kind with no delete from server or better which app work?
(k9 app don't have this option, gmx app have this option but activate the option do exactly nothing,
the mails are still deleted).
3. Gallary don't show photos that took with app Ucam, same if photos send by bluetooth.
I have to reboot to see the photos from the last session (media scanner only scan at boot).
4. TrackID with optical issue, i report a video if nessesary and i inform me about HowTo take a on screen video.
5. No undervolt possible, the performance menue told me my device doesn't support undervolting. Checked that behavior with some tuning tools, same issue. All tweaking tools tells me Kernel doesen't support undervolting so i deinstalled the tools without changes. No worries, i have some uv experience with xperia pro
I installed your new kernel yesterday (B14CK1RD v. 1.1) and repplaced the original one from LiquidSmooth but unfortunately the issues are the same.
Only 1. and 3. are realy important for me.
and again, thx for the nice LiquidSmooth
Marcus
