My HTC One S is unlocked and rooted with no problem at all... But when I tried to adb push my rom to my device I could not find it in my recovery, so I decided to save that for another time and tried to boot into my stock one s rom. when I booted it shut off immediately, as I have rooted before I knew something was wrong. So I tried to turn it back on but when I did I could not pass the "Htc" boot screen, when I got to it the phone shut off again. I know it is not bricked because it will attempt to boot after I press the on/off button. What shall I do???

while i was installing the CoreDroid the phone was installing it in recovery mode and my screen was black so i let it go for 10 min and it rebooted. Then it goes past the htc logo and i see a 1 sec animation then the phone goes back to htc screen and keeps doing this. i then tried to go into the recovery mode and do a factory reset. but once i click on that the screen goes black so i dont know what im doing. Please helppp.Noiw i wish that i had never tried this rooting thing.Back to the tilt2 till i get some help i guess!!
Same problem but im stuck in the bootloader
See the post above "stuck in boot loader" the same solution applies to you.
hi people ;P
I tried to upgrade phone with the latest One Touch Upgrade app. During the upgrade process, app froze and stuck.
After this, it can't boot, stuck in the alcatel boot animation. Tried almost everything: nandroid restore via fastboot (2 or 3 different backups), flashing stock roms posted on forum, nothing worked. Only thing changed is that now it has T-mobile boot animation.
I got clockwork recovery but can't enter it in any way. I managed somehow to enter it once from power off state but accidentally i didn't have any backup image on sd then. I can't manage to enter it again, no matter which buttons i press with power button.
I would be really grateful if someone know any solution for my problem.
Hi All,
I installed the AT&T RUU_Evita_UL_Cingular_US-1.82.502 and the phone was working perfectly, then I tried to replace the two files for the Advanced Power Menu mod into the Framework folder as the install directions say. After the reboot, the phone gets stuck on the white HTC ONE TM screen. I then rebooted into the recovery screen by pressing the power and Vol down key and did a factory reset and I still get stuck on the same screen after the reboot. Any way I can reinstall the AT&T RUU_Evita_UL_Cingular_US-1.82.502 or get out of this Bootloop? Thanks in advance
download the ruu and htc sync and ...reflash
How do I do this, HTC Sync does not pick up the phone and since I do not have CWM how to I flash the RUU from this state. I saw that you previously said to another member about ARUWIzard, will this work for me?
since you are on att therefore you dont need that.
download the ruu from this post.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1644338
and run it with htc sync installed.
Got it to reflash the RUU. Thanks for your help.
Hi, hoping someone can help me out i cant find anything on google.
I just installed insertcoin custom rom onto my htc butterfly s and it seems that it went off without a hitch.
after the installation it prompted me to reboot, which hung at the htc loading screen for a long time. and so i turned it off and on again.
Now it shows me the Htc loading screen after awhile it turns black, vibrates and shows me the htc loading screen again but this time there is a booting to recovery mode at the top, and it brings me to my CWM recovery page.
nothing i do can get me out of this loop. anyone has any advice?
Someone suggested to me that the new devices dont auto flash boot and after using fastboot to flash the boot again it seems to have fixed it.
but i cant find a way to delete this thread so yea..
this is my first htc and so far i am missing my samsung and motos
the phone is now completely non responsive and is stalled at the HTC boot screen with the text "this build is for development purposes only " i have the verizon htc one m8 ive tried removing the sd and sim holding power holding volume and power nothing makes a difference.
rooted with s off twrp is my custom recovery
started by putting slimrom on for a change of pace i had horrible signal strength and decided to try another rom somewhere in the process of flashing venom one my sd lost its backups the phone had stayed on the same screen for a while but eventually booted to a stable seeming venom rom and had 3g but no 4g service i ended up rebooting the phone today around 11 am and its been in this loop / screen since. i let the battery die down and was able to get to recovery and searched for my back ups but they were gone i ended up rebooting and now am stuck on the same screen as before. even after trying to enter recovery twrp it goes back to htc and not twrp
i tried every combination of buttons the few times and have drained the battery twice and now it just boots to this screen and is non responsive. hope that i can manage to find a way to push something to it or enter recovery and go back to stock using ruu's
anyone with input or advice would be a blessing at this point id be happy to make a donation for any useful help / anything to get me out of this screen even so i can push another rom or ruu to get me to stock
im afraid ive ruined a perfectly awesome phone
update got back to twrp and tried to re flash the venom one rom after full wipe but used their option for "stock" install said 100% and sucessful but upon the reboot is now seems to be stuck in the same screen.
got into the recover after battery died re flashed venom
after about 15 minutes on the htc screen it went to set up ....still very buggy more so than last time the phone was actually working but it is at least from what i can tell working ... going to try to get back to square one somehow
screen wont turn on and acts very buggy only time it stays on is holding power and gives reboot options... i done f ' ed this phone up.
How long are you waiting after I restarts when the install is finished? It will take a long time on that first boot. I have seen them take more than 5 minutes and if you interrupt it it can cause problems.
