Backup and Restore - General Questions and Answers

Hi,
is it possible to backup an app with titanium backup on Samsung stock rom and restore this app with all settings after installing cyanogenmod on the phone?

Yes, as long as you are rooted (titanium requires root) it should not be a problem.

Unistalling titanium backup?

Hey all if I was to un install titanium backup would it automatically un freeze apps I have frozen would it delete my backups and such? I thinking of going with rom toolbox for a while. Thanks

No, it will only uninstall the app.

no if the app is uninstalled its removed from your system...no other app(rom toolbox) will see it.

4.2.2 cwm recovery backup issue

Hi frnds is there any prblm in cwm recovery backup of 4.2.2 firmware
I took a backup through cwm recovery.after 4 5 days i restored it but while restoring backup the device get stuk at samsung logo after that I remove the battery n tried to turn on again but it doesn't work.i flash it once again the divice get started but my whole data ftom device storage was lost.is there prblm in 4.2.2 version or in cwm recovery?

I suggest u to flash stock 4.2.2 again and not to root it.

must have apps according to me are titanium backup, root explorer, sd maid and automate it

If you're rooted you can use Titanium Backup.
If you're not rooted, use Helium
