hi there, is there a link somewhere to download the stock ICS rom? i searched xda to no avail, i wanted to try out something on the original rom but i can't now because i bought the phone second hand and it was already updated...

I'm wondering how much better this will be than CM7 using a custom ROM, will it be faster, I've read the change log for CM7.1, just don't know if it's worth testing, I'm wanting to hear from people who have downloaded it and using it....

Ohhh it is only an update i am downloading, should i get 7.0 first? Were to get full rom? and flash update 7.1 via CWM?

Are u on CM now ?? Then Rom manager is best way to do it

I am using DarkyRom JVR 10.3 with semaphore 2.6.35 kernel in a SGS. In order to install cyanogenmod should i change kernel and is necessary to disable the lagfixes? Thank you
Hey guys, I flashed Miui yesterday and I really dont like it, so I was going to try something else but now I can not get in to recovery. Ive done some research and I need the CWM Community Kernel v8, unfortunately since multiupload is down/gone I cannot download it. Does anybody have a copy they can send me? I have the sgs kernel flasher.
PS, Ive tried flashing different recoveries, google searched the kernel but the links are dead.

HELP!! I rooted and flashed my HTC One XL with CyanogenMod 10 and no matter what ROM i put on my screen is not responding at all. The power and volume buttons are working but thats all Please help!!

This is a known bug. If you're on the newest firmware, you can only use Sense JB roms. Anything else, the touchscreen will not work.
Ive just dowloaded an update for cm-7.2.4f-umts_sholes from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=941346 for my xt720, inside tha zip -META-INF, sytem, boot.img , and it doesnt update using open recovery,,,looking for anyone who could help me update this , thanks

Go to open recovery to update zips and flash it.

its not working sir, i did it with cm7 cm9 and other roms but in this its just not working i think because it is in .img, i did some research and tried fast boot, ive been to fastboot flash boot boot.img but it says still error, but im still looking for some other info in other thread, thanks sir

The thread you referenced is not for the XT720 Milestone, but the Motorola Milestone A853, It's a different device, so you can't flash that one.
