Hi Guys,
im new in XDA, so i don´t know if it´s the right forum.
Well, i flashed the new SBamboo V2.4 and everything is working, but there´s a big problem. After flashing the SBamboo 2.4_ICS_Fullwipe.zip via CWM, my Phone (Samsung Galaxy S I9000) chanched his "ID" into Galaxy SGH 1897 (I sawit, when i was booting my phone). So the "Back-Key" has the same function as my home button. I don´t know how to fix this problem, because with every other ROM it works normally.
I hope you can help me because I have no rights to post in the SBamoo thread.

This rom is apply for Samsung captivate only. You should an other rom from I9000 thread.
You flashed a ROM that isn't meant for your model.
okey, i got confused, because in some posts it was said galaxy s and i didn´t knwo that there´s a samsung captivate galaxy s..
is there any similar ROM for the real Galaxy S?

I have a problem with cm9, when i install the patches, the phone says: application com.anrdroid.phone has stopped, but when i reinstall cm9 it works, but without patches,can anyone help me with this problems?

Hello... As you can see I'm a beginer, so don't be too happy for now! So if I understand, you need this patche to make that your phone work under CM9? I have a Galaxy Ace and it is not supported officially by CM, so I know what it is... I know that it is stupid but do you saw the section for you phone? If not go in that section. It's probably a compatibility problem.

I've been searching far and wide on the net, and i have serious problems with my S5690. The syndroms are that it reboots unprovoked, and it seriously P***** me off.
So i'm searching a clean Custom Rom based on Gingerbread, isn't there any out there, or someone has something I can do to gid rit of the problem??
The phone is rooted and that worked like a Charm, and i have uninstalled the Stock apps from Samsung, but the device still reboots at times??
Some days even 3-4 times!? :S
My Carrier is the danish Cellular carrier 3, and I have spoken with them, but the problem isn't from their side but Samsung that has messed something up with the stock ROM. I've been reading myself towards some sweedish sites that are experiencing same syndroms.
I really hope someone can help. :-(

Hey, I used a rooting tool from another thread here on xda and then I used the app superuser too administrate the apps which needs permissions.
Then too freeze and uninstall apps I used an app from market called app freezer.. Worked like a charm.. Working on a custom firmware too but I only just started..

So you did manage to root and run a custom rom? I would like to have something like cyanogen mod. My previous phone (htc hero) could be rooted only using super user.
Can you tell me how to start? and how is your Samsung gt-s5960 working at this moment?

No I haven't been able to find a custom rom. ;-)
But I have rooted the phone and it works perfectly, and without reboots since I uninstaled the stock apps.
Take the link I posted and then find the rooting file, and and place it on the root of the phone memory then reboot to recovery mode and apply manual update from sd.. Then after it installs reboot and then you have root permission.. ;-)

Hi all im new here, but i read your thread about GT-S5690. I cant find any stock rom that it will accept? My phone is ROOTED but I cant read MMS directly and Music wont play from folders. I could be missing some APKs I know that.
I would like to RE-install original rom, and I CAN NOT do a reset tried that 100 times and the same broken rom installs then.?

I have a different problem with my S5690. When trying to install another camera app, it's stuck in negative mode and no normal model available!
I've tried ProCapture, which work with normal colors on first launch, then stuck on negative. (removing data / cache from app makes another first launch in colors?
Also tried Camera Ics+ which is just stuck on negative?
Anyone experienced this or know a workaround for this?

Hi everyone, i'm form Argentina and i have a i9003. I've flashed the Cyanogenmod 10.1 A8 on it and it runs fantastic, but the probleme is that altough i've backed up the EFS folder previously and restaured it after i flashed, the 3g connection is not working, i' only getting edge. I would like to keep using this rom because i like it very much but i would like to know how i can solve this issue. I've alredy tried setting the right APN. I don't know what else to do, if you could help me i would be very thankful. Sorry about my english

I have recently rooted my device to CyanogenMod 10.1 and I wanted to install a new theme, called Kitkat. But there came a fault 'Theme is not good comparised' or something like that.. So I searched the internet for a solution for this problem. So I came to change the DPI of my Galaxy Gio. I downloaded an app and rebooted then. But now it won't start up anymore.. How can I solve this problem?
