guys if any of the great guys in here can help me out......please....i donot know what to do to get into cwm...i have vengeance kernel and have rooted my phone...but whenever i try to flash through rom manager it boots into android recovery....i dont know what to do...Help me out pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
are your bootloaders unlocked? an't use custom kernels if you can't unlock your bootloaders
If you have installed vengeance simply power off your phone,and then power it back when.At Sony logo,when the led blinks press volume down key.It will boot into recovery.Enjoy!
On vengence kernel you cannot boot into CWM recovery from ROM Manager. you will have to switch off your device and once you see the Xperia logo keep pressing the volume down Key unless your phone vibrates.Than you will be take to the CWM recovery. I rooted my phone (xperia tipo dual) .. created a recovery.. installed a custom rom (cyanogen mod 10) and then gapps for the same. But accidently i installed the custom rom twice. then chose the reboot device option.but my phone never switched on again. it vibrates when i press the power button but does not show the sony logo at all. Is there something i did wrong? .. How can i fix my phone now?..|
P.S. it can be connected to PC via fastboot!

I was installing Cyanogen Mod 10 (2nd time) on my Sony Xperia Tipo (dual)
and i forgot to install clockworkmod first.
After installing boot.img by the flash tool the phone didn't reboot and nothing
happens when pressing the power button or connecting to charger or PC.
Is there any solution for this issue.

Was probably copied from another device's instructions. I'm not getting any LED activity either but no problem entering recovery.
There is only vibration at the moment.
Speaking of vibration, my phone just started to act up out of a sudden - vibrating for no reason every 2 seconds. I don't have any apps from shady sources and am keeping my installation size minimal. Restarting doesn't stop it from doing this. Any idea what's going on? I'm using the KK .40 kernel.
edit: false alarm, happens on stock kernel as well. Sony's not-so-Smart Connect app went berserk after today's daylight changes, it seems

In order to get root privileges and CWM I have flashed my D2303 with fastboot like:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
It returns that it is written, all OK
When I disconnect the USB cable and power on the device the led does not turn on during the sony logo on display. Pressing volume down does not take me to recovery mode. I have also tried to boot into recovery via adb. After entering adb reboot recovery the device restarts but no recovery mode comes up.
I have a German stock ROM 18.3.C.0.40 (4.4.2 (kitkat)), the bootloader is unlocked. I have used the link of member Kzeran (in his post of 10nov2014 (d2303 boot.KK.40.img)
What i'm doing wrong?

Probably not as the resolution is different so the boot animation would send you straight into a bootloop. But do give it a go but make sure you got Flashtools and the latest update.

then I choose NO or Yes same result, after reboot just black screen maybe brick. I try flash again with kernel [D2303] for KitKat 4.4.4 (only RIC disabled) and work, but I can't access cwm again and root success, so if I want flashable zip always flash kernel.
anybody maybe want tell me how to fix it? or give the solution?

I'm trying to install the CWM-Based Recovery 6.0.4.6 on my xperia m2, but every time i try to boot in recovery mod, the phone start as usual ( sony logo, xperia logo and android boot).
I tried every combinaison ( vol-, vol+, power + volume, sony logo + volume -,...) but it never worked, even if i try to reboot from android ( press powerbutton and select reboot to recovery), i installed different version of recovery but none of them "booting"

Hello I own Sony Xperia L and it's rooted.
For the last few days I wanted to add lollipop custom ROM to my device but it asked for some recovery or cwm something but I could not find Xperia L's recovery so I downloaded some other's phone recovery after that I downloaded an app for my mobile it's ROM Manager PRO and I flashed the recovery.img file and tried to reboot it and there! my problem starts! now my phone won't turn on when I try to press power key it just vibrates no sign of SONY's logo or anything just black screen and vibration every time I try to on it I tried connecting USB to make it work but no It does not I also tried going to boot mode but that too does not work, so what should I do now?
