I would like to flash a ROM as slim as possibile, without all the applications offered by Motorola and Google? Any advices.
At the same time, I would like a ROM based on Android 4.3.
Thank you.

One of my biggest gripes with KitKat is the crippled webview. A number of great browsers relied on webview, and delivered an unmatched experience with text reflow and configurable zoom defaults. In my attempt to get it back, I've compiled a CM11 with the older 4.3 webview.
I have the newer Moto G LTE, but unfortunately there are no custom roms yet so I have not been able to build one for my own device. As a result, I'm looking for users familiar with the flashing process and are willing to try this out and report back on how well it works on their non-LTE Moto G.
Some information and warnings
- Rom base is CM 11 KitKat 4.4.4 (Thanks CM Team, dhacker29, etc)
- This is for the non-LTE Moto G, aka Falcon
- Uses stock CM11 pre-built kernel
- updater-script has not been changed, so it should be the same flashing steps as the official CM11
- I do not have the regular Moto G, so I have NOT been able to test this myself
- You should be familiar with recoveries and have a proper backup of your device
- You will be doing everything at your own risk. I am not responsible if you end up damaging or bricking your device.
Just leave a reply and I'll get back to your with a PM with a link to download the rom.
bump! Still looking for someone to help me try this out.
Hi Storm, unfortunately I've not a moto g, but a lot of issues on my samsung galaxy s2 plus with webview. Chrominium works orribly on my device. Can you teach me to build CM11 with webkit for my device ?
Hope you agree
Best regards, Ricky

There is an unofficial CM11 build for Peregrine, you just need Shabbypenguin's device tree from Github
Hi Guys
I was wondering is there a firmware I could use to install pure Android 4.4. on my Note 3, I'm sick of touchwiz, want the pure Google OS.
How can I do this? Can I just use the nexus firmware? or do i need to use a rom like Paranoid Android?
Thanks
Alex
p.s
i know my s pen wont work in 4.4
I use a custom rom (Paranoid Android) which is on Android 4.4.4, but I don't really like it (mainly because there's not a dedicated settings for the PA features), so I want to change, but I don't really need a custom rom, since I use Xposed Framework, so stock Android is perfect for me, but I see that there's still only 4.4.2 available to download.
I've seen the changelog, but I don't really understand how importat are the improvements.
So should I keep using 4.4.4 (but a different ROM), or is 4.4.2 just as good?
Hi!
Im considering what is the fastest rom for MOTO G? Is cyanogen 11+custom kernel (which?) will be the best option? (this was the option that i used to use in other phones).
Is flashing lolipop makes any sense, when I need fast, very reliable software?
greetings
any stock will be fastest, lollipop too
I tell you this, lollipop? No. Epsilon Project v5. This is basically customised stock which is I'm proud to say the best ROM I have used and I have used many. Lollipop or kit kat.. Epsilon has been the most reliable for me. Fastest, smoothest and overall attractive.
Is there such a thing as a stock vanilla Android ROM 4.4.2 that can be installed in any brand of cellphone made for Android 4.4.2?
