Hi all
I've rooted and unlocked my two previous HTC, Desire & Desire HD, but I'm struggling with the One Mini
At the moment it's on EE
It's rooted, S-OFF'd, SuperCID'd and has TWRP Recovery installed, but still when I put the 3 SIM card in, it comes up with Network Locked
Any ideas?
Your either gonna have to phone EE or maybe buy an unlock code off eBay. As far as I know there are no software solutions for this.

You still need to enter the network unlock code. I've done it for a Galaxy Ace before using this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=17148825#post17148825

i just bought a HTC Desire S from 3 and i want to be swapping sims.. i have tried to unlock it several times but not working.. can anybody please help me.
I'm also interested. Is there any way to obtain the sim unlock code using adb like I've seen on other phones?
Hi there,...
i thinking of buying a HTC one s for my girlfriend,... I have some questions and I hope you guys can give some information
I saw that the HTC One S (T-Mobile branded) is beeing selled for about 399€. Non-Branded device is about 450 € +-
My first question,... is it possible to remove the t-mobile branding by installing a original HTC Firmware to this device? Normally this shouldn´t be a problem, right?
Second question: I saw that there are some devices with a new chipset?? Are there any problems with the first chipset or what is the reason for this "second chipset (C2)" ??
I´m little bit afraid of buying a device with the first chipset because 2 month ago I´ve bought myself a HTC One X and it was affected of this WLAN issue,... so I was forced to send it back to Amazon,... Don´t want to experience the same trouble with the One S.
Thanks in advance!!
with best regards

ok, thanks for the answer so far.
Are you sure that t-mobile is just selling devices with a S4 processor?

Does anyone know this t-mo phone will work well with other gsm carriers? Or one'll have to unlock the bootloader first?

TMOUS phone works great on other GSM network, but it depends on your network.. I'm on AT&T with One S and still get HSPA:11
You can just buy an unlock code online or request one from TMOUS if you can, otherwise you need to unlock the bootloader -> root -> follow the sim unlock process on the dev section.
Hi Guys,
I've sold my sensation and I had assumed that because I had rooted unlocked and flashed an unbranded stock ROM that it would be SIM free, but apparently its not.
Can anybody recommend a remote sim unlock service for me to use to unlock it?
By the inconceivable amount of power that Google may grant you.....

HI all.
First I am noob so please bear with me and my English is poor too.
I have been googling and reading about "Unlock HTC Chacha" since 3 days. I have a HTC chacha which SIM LOCKED which requires some kind of pin number to use another Telecom Service. The phone is from HK vodaphone.
After going through [Unlock ] Official Unlock via HTCdev! Thread I unlock vie HTCDev. Now, my question is if I root my HTC chacha using Doomlord root kit and then and install CWN recovery for chacha will i be able to do use ANY sim on my SIM Locked HTC set ?
Thank you for reading !
Unlocking the hboot and rooting you device will not unlock the phone for diferent sim cards
You will have to search google for a unlock code

Apparently my searching skills are rusty. This simply has to be a thread somewhere.
I just picked up an HTC Inspire 4g as a backup phone. I'm on Solavei, so I need to SIM unlock it. I have read through a few guides, but keep running into discontinued tools for rooting.
I don't need to do anything but unlock the SIM. How do I do that?
Enoch
Your device has to be gsm unlocked. Or u have to get a contract
