i am kinda new to this website and anyways,i have a friend that wanted me to root his phone (Samsung Galaxy s2 epic 4g touch running 4.0.4 model SPH-D710) And i though his phone was just an s2,because he didn't tell me about the epic 4g touch part,and so i downloaded the wrong tar file and flashed his phone with the wrong file,so now when i try to boot it up it just shows samsung galaxy s2 with a yellow triangle with and exclamation mark and then it turns black and never turns on.SO i wanted to root it and now what do i do,i want to unroot it now with it working.Please help my friend will kill me if it ain't working.

Hi everybody, im new here.. so i'll go to the point.. i had recently buy a samsung galaxy s2 tmobile t989 version, im from south america, so i need it to root the phone in order to unlock it for all the operators.. so i followed this tutorial step by step http: //galaxys2root.com /galaxy-s2-root/ how-to-root-t-mobile-galaxy-s2-sgh-t989/ (just fill the spaces)
Now.. once the the odin finished.. the cellphone got in a boot loop, i couldn't even go to the recovery mode.. because in the recovery mode also reboots.. and now.. the phone wont turn on.. and when i connect to the pc via usb.. y get that noise.. its like two fast tinun (dont know how to explain) and now i dont know what to do because the only way i think this could be fixed is via JTAG but no one does that here.. only in the USA.. anybody can tell me why that tutorial didnt work and what can i do now?

its not a battery issue cuz i have another galaxy s2, the international version.. and i managed to put the battery from the t989 in the international and charged it.. still.. the phone doesnt turn on.. so i cant do any odin stuff..

Hey. Some nimwit knocked my laptop cord out of the wall while my battery was low and scewed up the rooting process when my laptop died. I have a sprint galaxy s2 T989. My screen now says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again" It also displays a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark. I've tried the Kies but Kiew isn't connecting to phone. Also odin is reading phone when connected. I DL a stock rom now for ICS but I have a feeling this wont work. I just bought this phone. Please help me.
rooted my samsung galaxy s2 t mobile uk which had 2.3.5 installed on it using a guide to root 4.0.3 firmware. oops
for some reason now i cannot get the phone up and running. it comes up with the samsung screen with the triangle and exclamation mark but then switches off..
is there anything i can do to get this fixed. i'm able to get into recovery mode as well.

I went to cf auto-root my Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE i757m (unlocked) . I followed all the steps and it was going perfectly and it said pass in the green box and then it froze.
I was wondering how to get my phone back if it not bricked. I turned it off and back n and ive also tried to get the download screen back using thebutton combo but nothing comes up except the large red android icon.
The phones service provider is bell Canada.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Hello guys, i have a Samsung SGH i727 and firstly, when I powered up my phone the Samsung logo didn't dissapear. Fine, i tried to resolve it with Odin and i got a fail, and i got into Odin mode. After this I used a recovery file, but I later discovered it was a Note 3 recovery file......no that I am dumb but the name was ''SGH i727 recovery'', but when I connect my phone to the computer I can hear that it is connected and i can't do anything now, help?
Does anyone know how to unbrick a Samsung S2 Gt-I9100 phone. I rooted with King Root and started installing Nougat download from one website. In the end, an error occured and had to aborted. Now the phone is not booting anymore just display the Samsung and Model # of the phone when turn on and it cannot turn off. Thanks
