As the title promises, we may now rotate the GB 2.3.6 homescreen on our exceptional little A2. You can now use that auto-rotate widget in your pulldown menu!!

Note: this is the stock home launcher, not a market app (those blue hotseat icons are my doing)...
ZIPS INCLUDED BELOW FOR BOTH ODEXED AND DEODEXED SYSTEMS.
These are based on Stock (un-themed) MB865 2.3.6. If you are on a custom-themed ROM, this will change some aspects back to stock (like the app drawer launcher icon).
Install zip as per usual:
Bootstrap to CWM...
Wipe cache and dalvik cache...
Install zip from sd...
Reboot will take a bit longer than normal..
**CWM on Boot is always recommended when screwing around with system apps and their workings...
**As for back-up'ing prior to installing - that's your call, but this zip is only changing out the BlurHome2.apk, so you could just go and copy your current BlurHome2.apk from /system/app to your sd card for safe keeping, and pushing back if you choose to do so..
**If using a non-stock launcher, you may need get Moto Home Fix from Play Store first...
The zip files:
Get the DEODEXED Stock (un-themed) BlurHome2 with rotation here: rotatingstockBlurHome2.zip
Remove DEODEXED homescreen rotation with a previous deodexed copy of BlurHome2, for now... I plan on making a removal zip eventually.
Get the ODEXED Stock (un-themed) BlurHome2 with rotation here: BlurHome2RotateODEX.zip
Remove ODEXED homescreen rotation with this: NoRotateHomeODEX.zip
Disclaimer:Though I had seen that ZOMBI3 had made this happen on a couple of other moto devices (Droid 3 being one), I never tried to flash his, nor took any of his files - merely got inspired by his work... So, did some researching that led me to some Moto and Android dev sites and I eventually figured it out...
***PM me if you want to know how I did it, or if you want to apply this without messing up your current theme... I'd be happy to share.

U do know every rom out for atrix 2 are deodexed. Right? .both mine are. Probably should add it to list for both my roms.just didnt cuz its not something i did myself. Stock rooted 2.3.6 rom which we all use as a base is already deodexed.

Haha.. Thanks, my man. And, I'm getting there on the ROM.. I'm building her up as I go along.. But I'll get to put some real time into it next month. Shoot, we'll probably have an unlocked bootloader by then... Then the possibilities are wide open.. (sigh...)

Not a Motoblur device
When I flash either of these on Blaze 2.5 I get This is not a motoblur device when I choose Default Home after reboot

Not sure if Blaze has the stock launcher or not, try first dowloading Moto Home Fix from the Market...

FYI - it works on stock odexed roms also.
...I'm running an odex test since I had to flash the fxz after my last "incident".

Anybody using these? Does it work ok? I had some issues with editing the AndroidManifest on other apks... And it works fine on mine, so...

Lock Button In status Bar, with 1 touch you can lock your screen
Bigger Date Text Size & Semi Transparent Background In Pull Down Status Bar & Notification Panel
APK is tested on N9005 latest KK 4.4.2 NC2 stock rom odexed, But should work also on N900 and on any other KK rom odexed or deodexed (need testers to provide feed back)

Just place the zip file in your mobile, reboot to your advanced recovery, flash and enjoy (No need to wipe)
Be aware this will replace your SystemUI.apk with the new moded one, you will lose any mods from your rom or themed icons located in systemUI.apk, you can get your themed icons back by re-flashing your theme
​BACKUP your system (NAND) or original apk before flashing, it is your choice and your responsibility
The only way (so far) to revert/uninstall/go back to previous state is by re-flashing your rom / restore your nand backup / or push back your original apk
Pls. verify which rom and Bulid do you use and your phone model, to check compatibility

Well I flashed it and notification bar disappeared but theme was there.. I flashed the theme afterwards and still no notification bar.. had to restore from backup.

Flashed on stock, no more status bar, wallpaper gone to black and I can't reset new wallpaper. Going to restore.

Here is a zip file that I edited which you can install via recovery.It include a script that adds missing or hidden toggles in notification panel. Some toggles may not work on other roms cause either they are disable or missing smali files or completely remove by Samsung.Already tested on Aryamod rom],Norma lollipop rom and Darklord rom. Credit goes to @tdunham for the original file here
Install zip via recovery then after reboot go to notification panel setting and click reset.

Can you share link of pekaka rom mate? Maybe flashlight is disabled in system or its missing some files in smali.

Tried it on dom pop rom and didn't work. When going to notification panel to edit it said settings fc.

Sorry mate if it didn't work for you .I'm not sure if its related to my file cause its only a script and not an app.Your the 1st one who reported it didn't work by the way.
edit: Mate are you referring to this rom by @TEKHD ? If yes he just ask me to edit it for his rom and its working fine.

Maybe you can ask @pekaka to try to activate it if its possible. There is a great guide here to activate it for Note3

Yes that is the one. looks like he implemented private mode in his new release so I got lucky lol

Thanks mate. I'm not a developer am just fixing or modding things that came from available source.Am just editing or modding them to be compatible to our device.
