i have a sony xperia s model and it has been registered with T-MOBILE(UK) is der any possibility to unlock the phone by rooting it I have tried the steps in unlockbootloader.sonymobile instructions but it is not use ful please can you guide me regarding this issue

I am new to Sony products and before I make steps of unlocking the phone I would like to know what exactly to read. The problem is that I have a brand new Sony Xperia J which is locked to a certain mobile operator. What should I do to unlock it? Should I do anything with the bootloader or anything else? I've been testing various methods on how to root my device and none have worked for me.
I've also read that in some devices it is possible to be root without unlocking the bootloader.
My question is: Is the Xperia C3 can do the same? or in some special way?
I have this device about 3 months ago and want to be root, I'm bored of the limitations of Sony.
Besides as my device and I have permanence can not apply SimLock code later to make the procedure of unlocking Bootloader.
I wish someone please make a method because I'm desperate.
