i buy one droid razr hd from ebay .
its gsm unlock ( i dont know its factory unlock or unlock with code )
and i use it very good .
if i flash new rom or update it . is this possible my phone do lock carrier after update or flash new rom ?
but i afried to update my phone and Lose it unlock .

Hey guys I have got a Rogers moto quench. It is rooted and I am using a custom rom. I am happy with the phone so far. The only thing is that I can't use it when I am out of Canada as it is locked by Rogers. Is there any free way to unlock it? thx

It is technically possible to lose an unlock from an update, but very unlikely. Many people would be upset, it would be a big mess, and I've read there's some legal reason why all recent Verizon world phones ship GSM unlocked. It's my opinion you have nothing to worry about.
FWIW, the phone will stay unlocked after the 4.4 update.

were it said it was possible to donwgrade a moto g without a unlock bootloader, my brother just bougth a phone and motorola page says its bootloader its not unlockeable(i dont know if thats the rigth word). also i live on venezuela so i cant use it because its cdma to verizon. normaly that would not be a problem, cause he can still use it for games or music, but it updated to android 5.0 and now i CANT SKIP THE VERIZON CONFIRMATION, can you help me? i mean theres any way to donwgrade it to android 4?

As far as I know its not possible to unlock the bootloader on Docomo varients I'm afraid. Though I did find this on youtube so, ya know, perhaps...
