[Q] huawei ideos x5 u8800 camera issue

My huawei camera make a strange photos, it was ok but when I change android 2.2 (Froyo) to 2.3.5 (Gingerbread), then start the problem. now I root my huawei and put ICS 4.0.4 but the problem still.... I put a sample pic here...

It can be caused by wrong camera settings or there is a hardware issue.If you have a backup try restore.If you don't, backup imei, sms etc. Then wipe data, system etc. And finally flash ics again.If it isn't caused by hardware problem, you will use it again

days I have a problem with my camera and my cappy Galaxy s i897 ..
in GB and ICS goes black image! .. JB and 2.3.7 and the app closes and says: Unfortunately the gallery was to stopped.
I've done everything I've tried roms and nothing .. you buy the camera! Internet and install it and nothing .. jb sometimes at work but not now.
what he saw that some had my problem and updated the firmware of your camera .. the question is?? how to update the camera firmware of Captivate? or recommend I do?
please help me!
I did a downgrade right now to see q and nothing happened!

Hello everybody please i need a favor please
I used a rom and it was awesome but sms didnt work on it ,so i restored my rom(last night) and sms was working well till now

And the weird thing is that it was working well yesterday , i tried everything , flashing another rom , wide data , but i cant find the problem , please help me someone
i also did the way of *#*#4636$*#* and did go to SMSC and put my carrier number but when i do the update it dosnt do anything , i tried so many time but nothing the update button work but dont wana apply i guess and they sah nothing (not even update erreur)
Please anyone can help me its so important for me to have the sms working

[urgent] Micromax Canvas HD Camera not working

Hi,
The camera of my Micromax canvas HD has stopped working after i rooted the device and installed a custom Rom! :crying:
The camera just shows a black screen and never responds! It shows "Cant connect to camera" or "unfortunately gallery is not working" and the camera app crashes!
I installed several camera apps but still its not working!
I cleared caches, fixed permissions! Not working!
Unrooted the device and installed stock rom! still camera not working! :crying:
WHAT TO DO NOW!
PEOPLE PLEASE HELP!

you will need to take your Micromax phone to the service center and tell them that your camera stopped working suddenly
and while you are going to the service center,Be sure that you have flashed the stock ROM and unrooted the phone as well

The cam is working intermittently! Suddenly it starts working while at times ti remains dead! What to do? Is visiting the service center the only option? Heard they keep the phone for weeks without a proper resolution! :crying:

Just try a factory reset.:good:
And what exactly is the problem with it, is the app not loading or its all black when the app loads or what,, could you please explain..

Take it to service centre they will repair or replace the handset

well according to me the camera working sometimes and sometimes not is definitely a software related problem so I advice you to go to micromax's official website where they must have uploaded the stock firmware and download it and flash the stock firmware
if this doesn't work out then I guess you must try out other ROMs for your phone and check which ROM gives no camera problems and then stick to that ROM.

well i've tried all the custom ROMs that are available online! Still its intermittent! No idea why! Unrooted and installed to stock ROM but issue persists! Android geniuses please guide this poor soul! I've heard horrifying tales about Micromax service centers and how they harass customers! So dont really want to visit it!

Help Needed with Camera - Xperia J

I've recently flashed the XperiaPremium™ on CM10 rom on my xperia J, found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2159103
I have to say I only have it for a little while but I am totally in love with this rom. Sadly, I am currently facing a problem with my camera. Whenever I try to use my camera and take a picture it opens for 2-3 secs, and then closes on its own followed by the message: "Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped." Still, gallery works fine whenever I open it.. I would really appreciate it if someone could help with a sollution. Everything else is working very well. I seriously like this rom so much im considering leaving it at that and stay without a functioning camera. :crying:

Did some more research on other phone senctions and came up with a sollution! (Yaaayy)
What i did was go into recovery mode -> advanced -> and hit fix permissions. Then i rebooted and it was fixed.
So whoever has this problem try it.
