[Q] Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray Calendar Question

Hi all,
I bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray and installed the 2.3.4 ftf using the following link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1271512, along with root.
I love the phone, but the inbuilt Sony Ericsson Calendar application is terrible. I'd like to replace it with the stock Android Calendar app.
Has anyone done this for the Ray? Is it possible? Can anyone help me figure out how to go about it?

Sony Xperia Neo L MT25i

Hi,
I have purchased Sony Xperia Neo L MT25i which has andriod 4.0 in china. I am worried that it has Chinese andriod due to which
when i installed Google Play and tried opening it, applications opens and crashes automatically. also there are many features which are not available on Andriod of Sony Xperia Neo L MT25i when i compare with the 1 i bought from india.
plesae let me know way out so that i can run standard apps like gtalk,googleplay, market etc.
also let me know if i have to root the same. there is not help available to root this phone.

all u need to do is....
go to setting -> then backup and reset -> reset your neo l
and when it ll boot up for first time it will ask u to select language and then u select English......
OR
just insert another SIM CARD.....
and then also it will ask u the language option....

OR u can just flash its own firmware that is neo l firmware ..... On to ur Chinese neo l

I will check on you suggestions, mean time can you tell me how would i flash its own firmware....i mean steps to do the same....?

Hi RJ - my wife has recently gotten the same phone (Neo L) here in China. I installed a GooglePlay .apk on the phone but like you RJ it also crashes right away. Have any of the suggested solutions worked for you RJ?

Hi Tohokuben,
No that was not a correct suggestion, if guess that chap codnt understand my question, Suggestion he gave was to set language to english which is not related to our problem. lets wait

I mean to say that you can download the firmware of neo l( google it)
And flash that via FLASHTOOL( firmware flashing software for sony devices)
And google the method to flash firmwares with FLASHTOOL

I already tried some stylus before and they're really working, but every time I try it on sketchbook, nothing happens..

[Q] custom roms E DUAL

I'm trying to find custom roms for the xperia e dual. I was only able to find one in the android development section but it does not do what i want. My mother just got this phone but after seeing the interface on my new nexus 4 she would like to have her phone be more like mine. the standard android apps and things rather than sony's ones. is there a rom for this? I can find things for the e but not the e dual. any help is greatly appreciated thanks

Rom? Not yet, even for e single. You can use jellybean launcher for now.

It's not possible without root.. U need To Download L Navigation keys from Xp_Modules.. its the only way
