Root, CWM, Stock Boot
By Doing Anything Mentioned below.. you void your warranty..
You may even face chances of bricking your device..
so proceed with caution!!
XOLO A600 can be rooted with the use of Framaroot app..
Download the app from the framaroot discussion thread and install it.
you must check the option "UNKNOWN SOURCES" from SETTINGS -> SECURITY -> UNKNOWN SOURCES!
Sometimes google may ask you to avoid installation of this app claiming it to be potentially harmful!
Download Framaroot from here:
Obtaining CWM for xolo a600 is not quite hard...
All you need is mtkdroidtools and backup of boot.img and your rooted xoloa600.
To flash cwm on your phone, just connect it to PC ensuring adb debugging is enabled and all drivers are installed.. I recommend universal adb driver installer from http://www.adbdriver.com.
And mtkdroid tools from http://depositfiles.com/files/fmnok7ke7.
Now assuming all prerequisites are fulfilled you should see a yellow square at the bottom of mtkdroidtools window, and all info about your phone. Now switch over to the tab saying "root, backup, recovery".
Click on "recovery and boot".
Now, click on the option "to select boot.img".
A prompt will appear where you should chose YES. Then you will find another prompt asking whether to flash recovery and patched boot images to phone.
It is solely your choice. You can use mtkdroidtools or flashtools or you can flash these files by using mobileuncle tools or flashify on your phone too..
For more information have a look at this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2379412
And for info about mtkdroid tools refer here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2160490

You can root by framaroot..
Better check original thread here
Try using all exploits from framaroot.
if you get rooted, check whether it is a MTK device from BUILD.PROP
Better try yourself as the worst case is that you won't get rooted!!
(Framaroot may not work only.. Thats it!)
And same with MTKDroid tools.
CWM by MTKDroidTools may work only if it is a MTK device..

Forget the CWM.
It is different for each set...
You can try a ROM after proper backup..
Btw how is the set overall? Is it good or has issues?

[MICROMAX A110] ROM of Mobistel Cynus T2

DISCLAIMER : DON’T BE HASTY “HASTE MAKES WASTE”
TRY AT UR OWN RISK.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKING UR DEVICES,DEAD SD CARDS AND MANY THINGS..
We are not responsible for anything. This ROM has been tested 100% working before being posted here.
ROM of Mobistel Cynus T2
The ROM remains ultimately stock and the partitions will be untouched during the flashing process. The changes are
- 12MP Rear Cam
- 1.3MP Front Cam
- Better Speed in 3G
- Great Sound output than both the stock ROMS (V1 & V2)
- Better adobe flash performance in browsers
- Brighter Flash intensity than V2
- Lesser battery drain compared to bothe the stock ROMS
- Super smooth and Super Stable
- Comes with official Mobistel UI
Antutu Score - 6415
Quadrant Score - 2604
Again reminding everybody about the idea of this ROM. We tested whether MC T2 ROMs will boot on system as Mobistel is lauching its JB update in the first week of JAN. This ROM was so stable and perfect for our device too which ensures no need of port of JB from other devices as it will be readily available for our devices too even before Micromax releases it (if they ever had a idea of that).
Rom Flashing Steps:
First you need to revert to stock recovery as this ROM will not get updated to CWM recovery.
Then copy the ROM in your internal sd card.
Enter stock recovery by pressing (Vol+)+(Vol-)+Power. Then press Vol+ button once the option screen turns up.
Flash the ROM.(No need to wipe cache and Dalvik cache)
Reboot the device.
Go to settings-backup & reset-factory data reset.
No lags found so far. If you find something please post it as comments below.

Rooted, about to instal CWM.Will keep you guys posted.:victory:
But seriously--12mp n 1.3 mp...why was mmx limiting the hardware specs like this??
No auto brightness
images andvideos are now by default stored on external memory unlike v2
Flash is definately brighter than V2
Edit:: Just saw a tv out option in display settings....but i confess that i dont know how to use it
More learned men kindly tell me about this tv out.
Edit 2:: Just saw the option for wifi direct.now sure wether it is working or not...it did turn on upon ticking the box however the settings didnt popup for them upon opening.
Edit 3:: Installed CWM...taking backup now.

[EOL][RECOVERY] Cannibal Open Touch Recovery for porting to MTK devices[EOL]

Cannibal Open Touch Recovery 2.1.3 all resolutions, for porting to MTK phones and tablets, with guide for manual porting.
DISCLAIMER:
Rooting your phone and using custom Recoveries and ROMS have risks and may result in bricking your device, and has nothing to do with Google or the device manufacturers. In case of any mishap I am not responsible if you brick/ruin your phone in any way.
Basic computer skills are required and minimal knowledges about phones and phones utilities too.
Make sure that whatever you do, you are doing it at your own responsibility.
List of confirmed working devices with ported recovery.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
UPDATE - I updated the source code CWM base to 6.0.4.4, and rebuilt all resolutions again.
My dear friends, I decided to help as much as I can in porting this recovery to your devices, powered by MTK processors. I saw many people manifests interest in this recovery, but they don't have knoledges or capability or the technique to compile one from source. And even if they have, it's not easy to do it - it took me one month to understand how to build this recovery from source. I worked all night to compile 12 recoveries and to make a clear porting guide with explanations and picture to be easy for anyone to understand.
So, I compiled one recovery for every resolution I could think or find. It has my phone base and kernel, but you will change that when you do the port.To understand how to pick the right one for your phone or tablet, this is how they are named: COT-Recovery-WIDTHxHEIGHT where WIDTH is your phone width and HEIGHT is your phone height.INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download your resolution recovery from the download section.
2. Get your stock boot.img, stock recovery.img and a working CWM recovery for your device.
3. Unpack, using michfood (for windows) or bgcngm (for linux) unpack-repack tool, all these 4 img resources.
4. Here is a picture with my recovery ramdisk structure with explanations:

}
First you need to change recovery.fstab from etc folder with yours - compare stock recovery.fstab with that from working CWM, to see if mounting points and partitions names are correct, and then copy a valid recovery.fstab in that folder overwriting mine.
Next, open default.prop from my recovery and in other window your stock recovery default.prop (use for all editing notepad++ with UTF-8 encoding and UNIX termination or geany in linux). Change in my default prop all the specs according to your phone.
Then, open init.rc from my recovery, stock recovery and working CWM recovery - make all changes in my recovery init.rc, according to your phone specs comparing with the other two.
Next, copy from your stock recovery fstab, factory and meta files, ueventd.rc, and overwrite those from my recovery - if in stock recovery there are no such files look in boot ramdisk folder - if you still don't find such files, delete them from my recovery, except ueventd.rc (but this one you'll have it for sure). Attention, you might find more files like advanced_factory_bla-bla-bla, don't pay attention, copy only files that are present in my recovery. To explain, factory files wil help you to do a factory reset properly, even from android settings menu, without loosing permissions or IMEI info, or anything; meta files helps to load needed sys and drivers modules from correct locations if you need let's say the touch module.
Then replace the kernel, but look if the kernel is correct in your existing recoveries - compare with one from boot.img and stock recovery.img, it should be the same size; if is not, replace it with the one from boot.img or stock recovery.img.
Finally repack COT recovery and you can flash it in your phone.
5. At first boot it will be a touch calibration dialog: you have to touch three times a red square in center of the screen.
NOTICE:
Because MTK powered phones are so many, in many variants and producers, old and new CPU, this method might not work for all of them - I mean touch feature, or USB mass storage if your device has a weird lun file path... but the recovery should work as a normal one, if you pay attention to my guide. If someone of you guys managed to successfully port this recovery to his device, please post here the link to your thread, to make a catalogue with devices that have working COT Recoveries. Maybe other users have same device and you will help them to save some time.
Guys, if you want to show your appreciations for the developers, here they are @Sblood86, @drewwalton19216801, @thenameisnigel. Visit their threads and hit Thanks or donate.

I don't know if it will work. I know for sure this porting guide works for MTK devices but ... Qualcomm is a different thing, and the ramdisk is different packed. You should find a COT recovery for a phone with Qualcomm CPU no matter what version, but with same screen resolution, and try to port that. My guide won't be very good for you, since in your recovery you don't have factory and meta files. But, as I said, if you can find a Recovery for a phone with the same resolution (try this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2039167 - is one of the developers of COT recovery).

This thread is specially meant for mediatek devices... @carliv will help you if he gets free time or he will direct you to the right path to get your cot recovery.. but I'm sure that these recoveries won't suite your phone...

Yes, I know. That's a common issue with this recovery. You should make a dir named "archives" and put all flashing zips in there. That one you will always see.
Did you ported this recovery to other device? post the link to add it in working devices list.

And brother only one doubt about this recovery..I did a backup and I looked into the cotrecovery folder.. it has a folder named blobs and it has thousands of foldrrs and files.. but the backed up folder has only less memory around 13 mb only.. please explain about this brother.. why the files are stored separately instead of combining it as a img file... is it a problem or the settings of cot is that..

You are using default backup format, "dup", and that create blobs folder - look what koush says. If you want the well known tar format, change it in COT settings=>Default backup format to tar.
