[Q] Is there a fix for the ALLShare Cast dongle for [ROM] [Collective Edition XXCMX3

Is there a fix for the ALLShare Cast dongle for [ROM] [Collective Edition XXCMX3 v6 Dark Side] ? Searched the ROMs thread with no luck and I haven't yet reached the minimum amount of posts to post this under the correct thread.

Can't say on this rom specifically but I haven't had any success on others... Just won't work if the status is custom, especially in settings...
The only choice I had was to reflashstock rom, using mobile odin pro with all data cleared, AFTER running triangle away... This reset all statuses, gave ) flashcount but left my tablet rooted...
As soon as you flash a mod though you will get custom status, only reflashing stock with all data cleared will fix.
I backed up everything onto my PKC so then I only had to reinstall the APK files, most are done automatically from play store on 1st boot....
Might take a while, just be patient.
But dongle definately works....

Though the devs @androidarea51.com are currently working on it for their Samsung development! This ROM is great though, kudos to the development team!

Camera Lag Improved

I have had an issue with my i9505 from day 1 with camera lag. So much I have been unhappy since now........
I just installed the pictured update which I downloaded via www.sammobile.com.
This German update seems to have drastically improved said issues.
The update is so simple. I have a stock i9505 and all I did was to download the required firmware and then put my S4 in download mode then plug it into my PC and flash the firmware via odin. No root needed so messing up your phone is slim as I have used this method many times.
I own both HTC one and above S4 and HTC snaps pics at a ridiculous speed but detail is poor. My i9505 until now has had serious camera lag issues. .
I hope they keep improving the camera as it needs lots of work.
Below is a picture of the latest firmware on 10/08/2013. For me MF8 appears to be most recent but I maybe wrong.

Hey Maanz, good to see you here. Low light will always be poor but there seems to be less noise in the pictures than before.

here are some pics I took:
the 1st and 3rd pics is set daylight on in white balance settings, the 2nd and 4th pics is set to auto.
both shots is taken without camera flash.
Not sure if these makes sense, but I need yr expertise, buddy.

2nd and 4th look better to me. I leave phone on auto almost all the time.

I had that fw and panorama mode doesen'nt work. Now i'm on Mga fw and also panorama doesen't work.
It shoots 3 - 4 frames and then loose ( freeze ) but the blue rectangle is mooving but no picture shooting and if i continue to move after a while will shoot photos but i miss some frames. (

Which file did you download?
PuiaAndrei - that's wierd im on MGA and Panorama is working ok

I only ever use files from www.sammobile.com
Never use anything else but official firmwares.

I had MF8 when i purchased the phone , yesturday i flashed MGA , and only improvement i saw is the battery life . i mean i unplugged the phone from charging and let him 4 hours in idle , when i powered the screen on i saw 98% battery. Preety good i say.....
But panorama isn`t working corectly , at least in portrait mode i`l upload some photos to see....
Edit : Where should i upload photos ? there are too big ...11 mb.

Latest comments on the newest small OTA here in Germany made me switch back from one of the very few AOSP 4.3 Versions that were working without any modifications/hacks (has been pulled from XDA as a request by Samsung).
I could not be happier to be back with the bloated 4.2.2 Stock rom. I "titaniumed/greenified" everything and the result is:
- WAY better reception with the new modem and updated CSC
- Camera lag has slightly been reduced
- Device is almost as snappy as the 4.3 Google Edition roms. No comparison to earlier 4.2.2 versions.
- Battery life is terrific.
I highly recommend using the latest German version.

I see what you are talking about maybe you moved a little bit and because of that there is tiny glitch in the end of the photo? you need to be very senstive when you make the connections in panorama. anyway i would rather check the panorama ablity in some viewpoint or open space, where you will probably actually use that cam feature...

Installed - no issues.
No full wipe either, still got all my apps and settings as before.
So far so good, looks nice and smooth - as we knew though, not many major noticeable changes on the surface.

Its just the code for the unbranded (not carrier/provider specific) UK firmware, dont think it stands for anything as far as I know (British Territories Unbranded?? :silly.

Are you guys rooted or not? I'm tempted just to go back to untouched stock, as there are still issues here and there with rooted/custom 4.3. The only thing that would bug me would not be not being able to remove bloat. I had tried flashing a custom 4.3 ROM which had the data screen off bug, so then tried going back to 4.2.2 but got a bootloop. Flashed rooted 4.2.2 MGA via Odin and tried flashing custom 4.2.2 again but still got bootloops. So currently on rooted stock 4.2.2 which is working perfectly, so I suppose I should really just sit tight for now.

I've got intelliring installed. Just updated and now I'm having talk back issues again while using stock internet app. Seems fine in chrome.
Any ideas how I can stop it?

I'm running totally stock everything. I think the bloat is all part of having a samsung device. Nexus devices are so plain jayne in comparison, I came from a Nexus 4. I wouldn't get too hung up on it to be honest. I think the S4 is a real solid performing device with stock 4.3.

I'm totally stock too, have been since the most recent 4.2.2 update (since it got secure by knox). Before that I ran djemby's stock rooted ROMs to allow tinkering, but I couldn't be bothered with the flash counter/knox fuse etc. risk of flashing custom ROMs, so I just went stock while I still could.
As for bloat - I can live with it. some of it I actually use, some of it I never touch, but it's on there and its not doing any harm.
4.3 is nice and smooth, my phone is functional. I just have to live without the tinkering - it was minimal but I liked to have the choice... (I only added CRT off, symbols on keyboard, and one or two other bits anyway).

Cheers, I'm in two minds at the moment. I agree that it is a great device and enjoy having the extra features (would just like option to remove some of the apps). To be honest Im not looking to constantly flash a lot of different ROMs, happy with stock if its smooth and stable. I've got a Nexus 7 as well, so it satisfies my 'having the latest update' fix! The rooted apps I would miss would be adaway, multi window manager, root explorer option on file explorer and titanium backup (not much use for this anyway if I'm not flashing). Will think about it a bit more..

So it seems many people have been doing what they can for a fix. Good to see you have taken the time also. I was looking for days and couldn't find a fix along with many others.
This method also has working NFC.
This thread could help others looking so I do not see it as a negative unless you do. More then one method or fix should always be welcomed.

I might start working on a Custom ROM that would be for SM-N900W8 soon. Unsure if I will yet. I am also wondering if I should not just start working on porting CyanogenMod or AOKP to this device instead.

You should consider a select group of people to distinguish what features, support and direction to have with the Rom.
There are a lot of good roms but there's always one lacking in features the other has. Would be nice to really have a good group of developers focused on open support and incorporating as much across the board as possible.
I like TW so that's a must for a Rom for me. Nice to have Google cam, Motorola, nexus cam also etc. Hard to describe. I'm a little off topic lol.
Doesn't seem like many are having issues with this method of fix for wifi/bluetooth/etc which is a positive.

Yeah the thing is that if I consider making a touchwiz rom, that would mean coding in smali which sucks

they do not understand what happens. since I got the base MJ6 all have been problems with the camera and video recording. and even down to mj3 or mj7 I still have the same problem. with lean kernel has solved the camera, but no video recording

Good afternoon.
After many headaches and alucine2 by step we 'll post the info the solution to those who have gotten the J4 modem and it does not work the video recording .
First of all say that Samsung is looking increasingly more and now leaves to downgrade Modem (ie failing to test if putting the modem with the corresponding NON - HLOS work) .
Download this file :

Unzip .
It is assumed that if you have this problem is because you have already installed the modem J4 ( look in about , baseband )
You open Odin 3.04
this is important .... you get the battery note 3 .
Metes battery and power key combination , volume and center button unless you walk into dowload mode .
When you enter this mode you press volume more
In odin in PHONE box select the NON - HLOS.bin you had unzipped
You give a start , end and wait for reboot and go.
In the MODEM rar J4 also attached in case you need it.
If you want to install the modem you have to perform the same process described above, first with the modem and then the NON - HLOS .

Rom for Tab 3 7" T211 GSM version

Hello i have T211 and it doesnt have any rom on it
many ppl have said tht there are roms and i hv tried them but both roms were broken zip files (dunno why)
so if anyone wants rom just post here
i will only make the rom if more than 5 or 6 users want it
Just so u know this is going to be stock based since im not a very big developer
however i am a busy student so i ccant rush it

I cant put that feature directly in the rom
since apps are unreliable
but i can make flashable zips for different dpis

It would be nice to have an updated rom for T211 since I saw some people looking for some (including me). Also, we all know that roms for this device are discontinued a long, long time ago.

i see i will make a rom then a working one
since it will be stockbased it will be bug free or hv small problems tht can be solved easily
about updated i dont think i will update whole rom but just some bug fixes by making flashable zips along with some new apps
it will take me some time to start the process
since im very busy with my studies but u can expect it within this week

The infamous tab 3 rom works really well with the blackhawk kernel....The Rom by itself will not run properly,,, boot up is slow and doesn't display the boot animation, various force close issues, but as soon as the kernel is installed, the Rom performs flawlessly(however I have yet to get a nandroid backup as they all fail).....I really would love to see development for this device as a lot of people are going to this phablet because of the cost vs paying for one of the large phones.....this device needs and deserves attention from developers.....I will be glad to test and make donations to further the development of a working 4.2.2 upgrade and further as we are stuck with only one working Rom......
UPDATE : after installing the blackhawk kernel I was able to get a working nandroid....installing the kernel is a must with the Infamous Rom,,,,, it will not run properly without the kernel!

Yo,
I tried infamous but there was a download problem or sumthing it turned out to be an incomplete file
If u can tell me the version u are using...
I can use it as base and remove all the bloat, add some tweaks, add some awesome apps, replace samsung apps , tweak the ui, add a lot of customizabilty, replace the ringtones, add gaming tools,
Rom will be ready with the must have root apps that u install after every rom change etc.
So these things are what i can do
U think tht i should make it?
Or maybe wait for safarikings rom?

He is an experienced developer and im a noob compared to him
Just so u know i dont have enough resources or ability to help in development
He wont need me anyway
He just needs testers and logcats for his success
I can only make stock based roms infact i learnt making and made my first rom just 2 weeks ago

The Rom is fine! I'M USING IT NOW...I downloaded it and installed it yesterday from the link here at xda... .The only problem is once it's flashed when it tries to boot it takes a tremendous long time then there's no boot animation but after you flash the blackhawk kernel everything starts working.......flawlessly! The real problem is we need a working 4.2.2 upgrade as the SEAL file for this device is incomplete and won't even flash......I'll add the link to the infamous Rom here.... http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23134718111253322
