I searched and didn't see a review for this case. I picked it up yesterday at T-Mobile I had a Ringke Slim prior to this case, I liked the Ringke Slim but I am so paranoid about dropping my phone and not having enough protection, primarily the top and bottom and the corners of the phone.
The Body Glove offers full protection for the Nexus 4. The case is a hybrid hard/soft case. The inside of the case is a "durable gel material" which extends out to the outer edges of the case so that if the phone drops face down it won't land on the glass. There is also gel material on the outside of the case covering the power and volume buttons as well as the back of the case for some slightly added grip and so when the case is placed down the hard plastic won't be touching whatever its laying on.
The case feels rather good in the hand as it does not add any significant weight or thickness to the phone which is awesome. Body Glove did a great job on keeping the ergonomics of the phone while the case is on. My only real complaint is Body Glove could have added more grip to the case. The little groves they added to the back of the case helps some but I think it would help with grip more if the groves were vertical and not horizontal.
Will add more pics of the case on the phone as well as comparison pics of the Ringke Slim.

My review is that it looks hideous.
Great review!!! It really don't look bad in person but I dont think any case really looks great anyway, to each their own I guess.
I also own this case and I have to say it's amazing, I feel like my phone is very protected and looks great. I was looking on amazon for weeks for a good case but I felt everything else was really cheep, the nova is a great looking high quality case and I wouldn't get anything else!
it looks stromtrooper-ish
they have an all black version if this particular one doesn't suit your taste. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-BODY-GL...969187?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item23284cada3
Sad tht in India, we have less choice to get accessories , as I have got the phone through relative living in India.
I picked up the same case and I love it. Buttons feel good. Full all around protection. Color choice was pink or white and that's the only draw back imo

Would like to see pictures of the black case if someone has gotten it yet.

I just picked this up today. So far it fits great and the buttons feel good I just wish the edges weren't as boxy.
Anyways I took some pictures for you. The one with the screen turned on shows what looks like white splotches around the edge, but that's a reflection of something because the case shows some chrome on top and bottom. I couldn't get good lighting and the tablets camera sucks with no flash.

This case is just like the seidio active just with better fit due to more structure from the shell. The seidio is nice but doesn't have enough points of grip making the silicone underneath move a lot and letting in dust and particles.

Can anyone compare it to the Ballistic case?
Does it give more protection?is the quality better?thanks
Thanks to all providing pictures.
How do the buttons feel ?
The inner silicone gel case looks thinner than similar dual layer cases (and i presume it cannot be separated from the outer shell as well) . Does it feel like it will give enough protection for a 4/5 ft concrete fall ?
Ooooh! This case is nice! I wish I would've bought this before I bought my Ringke Fusion.

The black one is really nice, had a plain black body glove for my HTC one s the same kind and it had great protection I really recommend the body glove ones

I already have the diztronic tpu case, and its great except for the matte finish. The phone actually has less grip with the case on.
Are their any tpu cases out there with the same style as the diztronic but with a finish that actually provides some grip with still making the buttons easy to use?
the s-line case I bought ages ago has a nice grip to it but the buttons are a nightmare on that thing.

I highly suggest the tpu cases made by mercury. It has a nice grip to it (unless your hands are moist), with a beautiful finish.
There are cutouts for the buttons which is very easy to access.
I currently own both the diztronic and mercury cases, and I personally prefer the diztronic for its grip and ease of button use, and mercury for there nice range of colors and design.

They do protect pretty well and will protect your screen to because there's a lip on the front. Pics I will upload a little later (sorry! I m out of town).

Well I got the A2 from cruzerlite (had one from on my one X) and out of driztronic, s-line and A2 the A2 wins.
The driztronic feels like it would offer more protection if the phone was dropped, but you would probably need that extra protection considering the finish they put on it is so slippery that you will be dropping it all time.
So while the cruzerlite does feel a bit thinner it just feels way better in the hand. The button cutouts are the perfect size making it easy to access, and while the buttons on the driztronic case were covered they did give a nice click when pushed. I just found the buttons were too flush with the case making it hard to feel were to push.
I will probably grab one of the mercury cases next just to compare all three of the "good" tpu cases out there.
As for the s-line, it might depend in who you get it from as the molds might be different from different places, but I got so fed up with the buttons on that case that I cut them out myself. What I found was the button covers on the case don't even line up with the buttons properly.

Boxwave TPU: http://amzn.com/B000GGBDF4
just received it and here's my c&p from my amazon review:
Simple, and great looking case that fully protects your nexus 4. The back is a matte finish, while the sides and front are a gloss material which help with grip. The buttons are covered and molded, which give it a high quality look and they feel good to press. The camera/speaker/charger/headphone cutouts are perfect and there's no branding on the case. This case is much better than the diztronic I have, which has a big ugly logo on the back, hard to press buttons, and hard to grip.
+1 Also forgot to mention the front lip on the boxwave isn't as tall as the diztronic. With the diztronic I had a hard time touching the edges of the screen
Hey guys,
I'm considering buying a TPU case for my N4. Which ones do you recommend and why? I'm also especially interested in how much width they add. The OEM bumper case makes the phone too big for my hands.

I said that too when I first got my bumper and then tried it a second time and resold it again. Won a white OEM one and hasn't come off yet.
I suggest the Ringke Fusion, but you may not like fingerprints on the back of that. Also cruzerlite has some nice cases as well. Also Diztronic tpu cases are nice if you are looking for a plain jane tpu.
The Diztronic case is great. It barely adds any thickness to the phone. While not TPU, I'm also digging the Body Glove case. Laterally, it doesn't add much thickness, but it's a little beefier on the back which might be a good thing with the glass and all. Both cases have raised edges which allows you to put the phone face-down if that's ever a concern.
I have the Diztronic TPU on mine and my girls. She has dropped it numerous times and not a scratch on it.
Mercury 6$ case, it's nice as I have one for a note 2. The note 2 is more snug versus this one however, this one has lips on the sides to protect the screen.

I must be the only one who thinks the diztronics tpu case is a pile if crap. Cutouts don't like up on either of the two I've had. Went in the garbage

You must've had bad luck with it then.. the cutouts on mine are perfect. What I do dislike though are the buttons, which are a bit hard to press and feel mushy.
I still haven't seen a case that I like 100%. Every single one makes it either look a lot cheaper, adds too much bulk or doesn't offer enough protection. But.. well, nothing you can really do, I guess
I have the official bumper, rinke fusion, poetic borderline. I can say using Ringke fusion brings the feeling of a solid phone. Using the official bumper adds a width for the phone. In the poetic borderline i didn't feel any bulk at all. That's my experience about those cases. I consider the back design in choosing a case cause i wanna let others can see the beauty of N4.

Mine arrived this afternoon and I love it. Can't wait for my skin for the back to arrive so it can feel safe and look sexy.
Official Bumper, Diztronic, a two part mesh case, etc and my FAVORITE is the Cruzerlite Bugdroid case in Smoke. You can see Nexus through the back of the case, not much width added at all and with the Bugdroid pattern carved into the back it offers much needed slip out of the hand protection. Cut outs are perfect also.
I've only tried the diztronic and I highly recommend it. Doesn't look like anything special or nice but in terms of protection it works. I've dropped my phone many times with it on and no scratches or dents or anything. Also the cutouts on mine are perfect.. There is a whole thread on it here I believe. I do wish the beautiful back wasn't covered though.. ringke fusion might be better in that sense.
I've gone through a few cases and settled on this one. My fave case so far, offers great protection and fits over the iloome tempered glass screen protector, unlike the Ringke Fusion.

You're gonna find dozens of different opinions on this. Everyone has different needs and preferences and few people will have used more than one case.
I've had the Diztronic TPU case. It's not bad. But being a TPU case, it's fairly bulky and I wouldn't call it pretty. I got this one a bit later: http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10001933/1138601-protective-pc-matte-case-for-lg-nexus-4 Looks and feels better in my opinion and is less bulky. Definitely offers less protection though, but I'm okay with that cause I just like using my phone quite a bit more with this case compared to a TPU one. Doesn't mean you will, though. There is no single best case.
I personally like the S line TPU cases found on ebay, there are only a few bucks and they provide the best overall protection + grip on the sides. Cant complain about 2 bucks.
I'm using this one and love it.

I have used a black S line TPU case from ebay since I first got my Nexus 4 a few months ago. I have dropped it on a couple of hard surfaces over time and it's faired out pretty well and I would recommend them to anyone, also great value for money.
I just got my triple armor hybrid case today and I like it a lot.it feels very comfortable in the hand. The edges aren't deep like the eagle case. Its perfect. Still waiting for my damn mybat tuff case. Its taking forever to get to me. One ended up from Cali to Chicago??? I'm the other way....in Hawaii. The other is just sitting and waiting. Usps is messing up a whole bunch of crap this month. Try the triple armor hybrid its awesome:laugh:
Absolutely love the Ringke Fusion case. It's got a plastic transparent back so you can show off the unique glass back of the Nexus 4 (which is one of the only truly unique and beautiful things about this phone.) also offers a solid amount of protection. Have dropped it a couple times.

I use "Rearth Ringke SLIM White" cover, it's made in solid plastic and it costs 13€ (17.65 $).
For me this cover is one of the best available for nexus 4, there's only one defect it doesn't offer a perfect grip.
Poetic's SLIM case is also pretty awesome, and it leaves the whole screen exposed so you can swipe from the edges (e.g., in Play app). $6 at Amazon...

LOL there is that, ut I am use to the old motorola nextels. Just doesn't seem that long ago to me.
I have always preferred tpu or hybrid cases, the hybrids for the nexus 4 were lack luster at best, and out of the tpu cases I found the cruzerlite a2 to be the best. I've been considering the dbrand "skins" but I'm really concerned about the tackyness of putting what is essentially a sticker on my phone. Also I hear they can collect a lot of pocket lint.

I honestly felt the same, so I just chose a minimalist shell case: http://www.amazon.com/Nillkin®-Prot...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
It's literally just a hard, thin shell that lines the phone. It doesnt add very much size to it at all, but if you use the zoom tool on the image you can see the back of the case has some texture (small bumps) that add a little bit to the grip of the phone. I'm happy with it so far.

That Matte stuff looks interesting, is it a lot grippier in the hand with it on?
I use a carbon fiber dbrand and it provides plenty of texture for grip.
Have a good one!
A very Slippy phone when new!
I have this for the day to day use and I like it.
Pretty grippy same type of texture (Polycarbonate?) as the old HTC One X if you know that phone?

Has anyone compared the Slickware Naked directly to the Skinomi (about half the price).
With Dbrand you have to be careful which skin you choose. I tried several, the true color options actually make the phone even more slippery since they are essentially plastic stickers. Leather is so so and Matte provides the best grip, which is still not grippy mind you. It is better, but far from perfect. I have not tried the carbon fiber, metal or wood skins they offer. I really wish one of those companies would provide a set of grippy textures, since that's what many people would probably look for when wrapping their phones.
I've only had this amazing phone for a week, but I'm so paranoid about dropping it! I thought I could hold out and just be extra careful but I couldn't do it. I've bought a Slickwraps skin (The Joker), the Spigen Clear Hybrid Case, and TGSP - Intelliarmor Pro.
I'll provide an update on the change in slipperyness when the skin arrives.
