My HTC 7 Pro (German) has some interference on the screen when the graphics are shown.

When I received that digitizer & LCD screen "combo" of HTC Arrive, it seems the flex ribbon cable connectors between HTC 7 Pro and Arrive are totally different and I cannot attach the flex ribbon cable of HTC Arrive to the mother/main board of my HTC 7 Pro
Makes me mad that HTC has manufactured similar kind of phones for US and European markets but some components inside are different to each other If we compare it, for example, to Dell Venue Pro, the components of their European & US phones are totally interchangeable. Two days ago I put together a working Dell Venue Pro for my colleague. The mother/main board was taken from German phone which had a broken digitizer and the housing was taken from US phone which was bricked. Works like a charm!
Case dismissed! Found (accidentally) that flex cable ribbon from German E-bay!!!
The seller still had two cables so I was able to purchase one for myself
Now I'd only have to solve that QWERTZ ->QWERTY problem...

JUst looking at moving over to a smaller device for a while. I have another Ameo coming soon and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing my current model.
Its got some small scratches on the front (not the screen) where the keyboard has rubbed the paint away, 1 on the left above the keyboard and 2 on the right, one above the front facing camera and 1 under the vueflow button (usual) and the charger died yesterday so I have been charging VIA USB.
Apart from that it is a:
T-mobile Ameo. CID unlocked running AP4.00.
It has Igo and TomTom on it both with Euro maps.....the errrr unregistered versions....
I got most of the bits that came in the box apart from the charger.
Comes with the 4-1 Cable for USB host TV out etc.
A TINY little USB hub for it and a mini Trust Wireless mouse.
A 512 Mini SD card
Headset
Spare Stylus
That little Bag thingy (which I found very usefull)
and I still the have t-mobile box with all the bits and docs

I would accept trade in if anyone has a decent laptop for sale. (I would pay up to a few hundred more for a trade up to a decent Core2 Duo or T64 with dedicated Nvidia or Ati graphics......)

I've been trying to find someone who sells replacement LCD's and not been able to find anyone. Does anyone know where I can get one?
I have managed to find a Diamond one quite cheaply on ebay, but does anyone know if it compatible with the touch pro? I've looked at my friends diamond and from the outside looks the same. It also has the same dimensions and specs.
I hope someone will be able to help, I'm having to use a crap SE T280i which can't even go on the net!!

It might be possible to get it warranty repaired by HTC, or at least repaired by them (you may have to pay for it if the warranty doesn't cover it).
What country are you in, as that will make a difference to shipping and availability.

I have a similar query too. Do diamond lcd ( Not digitizer ) fit to at&t fuze?
Just because, diamond lcd screen are cheaper then fuze.
As far as product image, both looks same but need someone to confirm if it works for fuze also. Please help to save few $$$.

yees, mine too... did a bad thing to the screen so it has 3 blue spots due to extreeme presure to the screen.
found lot of stuff in eBay but I don't recommend it because I once ordered a battery replacement (made in HongKong) for my TouchPro and it wont perfectly fit. So it kind of shocks me to shop in eBay...

I brought at&t digitizer from hongkong and its perfect. I don't think all the items from hongkong are bad. And most of things I brought from hongkong ( ebay ) were perfect, especially car products.
unfortunately I broked lcd, digitizer and flex cable while I was installing new digitizer. So now I have to buy new flex cable and lcd ( without digitizer ) which costs nearly 70$.
Already brought flex cable but suck on buying lcd. Just waiting to confirm.
Edit; Just now got reply from a diamond lcd screen seller. He said, we have asked the manufacture, and they told us it can not be used. So this should be clear but I already brought fuze lcd screen too as I don't wanna suck.

i need to buy a new flex cable for my TP. i have the t7272 version, but i've found on ebay some flex cables for touch pro XV6850 Sprint and Touch pro cdma version.
my question is are all the TP flex cables the same? will the cdma flex cable fit in my t7272 TP or not?

Well, it seems they're not interchangeable
I purchased a refurbished HTC Sprint/Arrive digitizer & LCD screen package from E-bay because I needed a replacement LCD.
OK, I took my German HTC 7 Pro apart just to find out that the connectors (of the ribbon cable) between my HTC 7 Pro and and the HTC Sprint/Arrive are different to each other Now I have to find another solution.
Damn HTC, they should've manufactured the same model for US and European market like Dell did with their Venue Pro
I just put together German and US Dell Venue Pros. German one had a fractured digitizer, US one had a bricked motherboard. So I took the motherboard of the German one, put in the housing of US one, changed the keyboard setting from "German" to "US" in EM editor. Works like a charm!

I have a oneplus 6 with a busted screen. There is no stock of replacement screens near me without a bit of a wait. I just need my data off my phone then I'm throwing it away. Are the oneplus lcd flex cables that connect to the motherboard compatible with all/some models of oneplus? (ie. For example, can I buy a oneplus 5 replacement screen, connect it to the motherboard just to access my data)
