It's been about a year since my Infuse has been decommissioned and even after the hours of trying to fix it from a temporary brick I still miss it. I miss all the familiar faces, especially you Andros.. I now have an Sprint LG Optimus G with some of the most devoted and amazing developers I've ever seen and I'm so happy to have this device. Good bye Infuse.

My girlfriend is blind and had the lg my touch q. For like a day it was not accessible at all she had to take it back and got the mytouch slide. The moral of this story is that lg just stinks and htc rocks. Sorry for. My rant I have the sensation and it is the best phone i ever had

I came to the Sensation from the LG Optimus 2X. I've had phones from all the big Android manufacturers except Motorola, and I have to say; HTC make the best gear. The Samsung Galaxy S felt flimsy in my hands. The o2x had terrible firmware, and custom ROMs didn't help with that. The only one that's come close to winning me over from HTC is the Xperia Ray. Such a tiny, yet awesome device.
The Sensation wins it for me though. It just feels right.

My gf. has the g2x and it is a very good phone from what we can see. It doesn't have the issues that everyone *****es about so much and it is very fast. I love the browser on it! Plus, it was free for her.

I have YET to EVER have a good LG phone. Normally it's the software that kills me! Haven't used LG since and been happy with HTC and Samsung
What an insult to HTC....They ditch HTC for LG who pretty much abandoned the G2X for some time and wasn't sure if they would update the phone, now LG is ruining the myTouch brand with crappy phones. These new myTouches are garbage to their predecessors.
The new mytouch phones do look unattractive to me. I really liked my g2x though. Only sold it because I over spent one month and was short on cash. My sensation, so far, hasn't been the greatest experience so far. Battery life is mediocre, but the phone performs well. I'll probably try a galaxy s 2 next if I can get a good deal on one.

I'm looking to switch to att and can't figure out what phone to go with. I like the 1x+, but not sure about sticking with HTC. The optimus is only $100 so that's kind of where I'm leaning right now. Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated.

I would get the one x plus. The camera on the optimus g sucks although it is 13 megapixel, and I hate touchwiz

If you're getting att don't get n4 I wouldn't do this. I would get something designed for 4g from them. The one x plus is what I would choose. Just an opinion.

Yup the one X+ is the better build and ships with jb. I did the research last night for my gf who is planning on breaking from from apple in January. Only thing is that you'd have to deal with strong possibility HTC won't update as frequently as Samsung. And also the camera is better on the s3.
Google this "samsung Galaxy s3 vs HTC one x+" it should get you the reviews with enough info to consider before making a final decision
IMHO, I'd wait & see what comes out of CES and how soon. For all you know the M7 could be right around the corner, although it'd probably be $100 shy of a Macbook Air.
I'm really considering the optimus g because you can pick one up for $99 and I really like that it has the s4 pro and 2gigs of ram. Is the 1x+ worth $100 more than the lg and is the tegra 3 on the same level as the s4 pro?

When given a choice like this always go for the non LG (sorry if that's harsh) I've had enough hands on with them to always be worried when faced with one. The biggest overall issue issue is that the support from LG and the tools provided to work with their devices are beyond frustrating and cumbersome to work with. The quality of the manufacturing makes me wonder sometimes too. The optimus g is nice looking, wicked quick, has a decent os on it and is a great device but even with just a bit of limited handling its already starting to show signs of wear on the out of the box perfect looking exterior. HTC phones are built like tanks and yep the cameras have been kickass. Sammy is always a good call lately too. My advice is if you go LG get a case and treat it like a precious jewel...you do get what you pay for ..or just go HTC or Sammy
That's just my personal opinion..but you should go hands on with all 3 and decide for youself
Hi all, I am so stuck between these two!! The Samsung s3 would cost me a extra 80quid but I am trying to justify spending the extra on a device which is very similar spec.
Would appreciate people's thoughts, opinions and experiences

I have an lg 4x hd. I love it. The only problem is the locked bootloader. It is supposedly going to be unlocked, but who knows when that will ever happen. Great phone though. I think it is much more durable than the s3.
Just my opinion......
Did a little more searching... seems some european models are able to be unlocked. Haven't tried it yet.

I have the 4X HD as well and love it. It is faster than my colleague's S3, the battery lasts longer and it looks better too.
If you want something that you can put custom ROMs on, then the S3 will probably always have better support, but if you want a device that works go for the 4X HD. I have a Nexus 7 and my old HTC DS for my ROM work, so my phone can do what it is designed for.
I prefer LG to Samsung but at this level it's all about personal preference

I'm in the market for a new phone and I've been looking at these two phones and I am really torn between them. They both have good battery life and I like the feel of both of them. The only down side about the moto x for me is that I can't use the moto maker option for Verizon which is depressing. So I basically just want to hear from people who have had hands-on with these devices and would be will on giving me input to help me out. Anything would be appreciated thanks!

Got the LG G2 recently and I'm completely happy with it.
Be patient and wait for Nexus 5. Nexus 5 > g2 + moto x

actually if want to buy mobile phone for like development purpose i never suggest Samsung coz they know nothing about making high end phones
though nexus 5 and lg g2 are manufactured by the same company lg g2 will be better the main reason is that the lg g2 is having IR blaster but the nexus hasn't so i personally suggest LG G2!!!!
