I currently have a Nexus 5 running droidkang v17 and for a while I have been unable to use the download app as whenever I try to enter it it shows the error " Unfortunately, the process Android.process.media has Stopped". Also a lot of the time when I try to download things the download will randomly stop and say download unsuccessful but I'm not sure if that is linked. Any help is appreciated.

Hello to anyone who reads this thread.
I just downloaded the franco.kernel app and used auto-flash to flash Franco's kernel. It rebooted the device and now I'm stuck with a screen which continuously pops "com.android.systemui" has stopped and "com.android.phone has stopped" and "Nfc service has stopped".
So right now i cant do anything with my phone. When i connect it to my laptop, it doesn't show up in the list of devices attached (and i had usb debugging on as far as i remember).
So i am waiting for it to discharge and then I'll try booting it up again, and if it doesn't work i'll try restoring my latest backup.
I made this thread to see if I'm the first (or the only one) to have this problem because i didn't find any such problem with the auto flash functionality anywhere else.
Device: Nexus 4
Rom : Cyanogenmod 11
Previous kernel : Default Cyanogenmod kernel
The problem is now fixed after I restored my boot backup but I'm still not sure why it occurred in the first place...and I'm not even gonna try it again...
If anyone has had this problem and/or knows how to fix it...please reply...

Hi
After rooting my phone using Kingo, i tried to install a custom rom on my phone using ROM INSTALLER.
The problem is, the installation did not make my phone better. All applications started to
crash. the crash occured in regular basis everytime i used some functions. the warning message says: 'UNFORTUNATELY ...... has stopped"
Anyone who is familiar with this error, please help me because i really need my phone back to
normal behaviour.
Thank you in advance.
I had rooted lenovo A6000 plus using kingroot. Then i updated the phone (system update). though they gave the warning as your phone is rooted the update might not work but still i updated . when the phone restarted there are options for recovery (Android system recovery<3e> kraft-A6000-s_S013_150615). when i update the custom rom (even stock rom) there are two errors 1.E:footer is wrong and
2. E:signature verification failed. then installation got aborted. i have gone through factory reset also tried to install from sd card still no luck.
now how can i install rom or recover. i have no backups though .
E:Footer is wrong during Installation

I rooted my samsung grand i9082 with kingroot and uninstalled few system apps. Used my mobile for approx. 1 year without any problem. Yesterday I flashed my mobile to upgrade it to cyanogenmod 12 with the help of twrp. Installed gapps too. Everything went fine but now getting a response continuously on screen like, hangouts stopped working, youtube stopped working, google play services stopped working, Any how I disabled the same in app manager. I have the latest version of google play store and play services. Same downloaded from other sources and installed but same response of not opening of same. I am unable to open google play store-getting response Check your connection and try again. Even other apps are also giving same response after opening like when I open My airtel app, it opens and says stopped working and app shuts down. I am having good internet connectivity. Trying to boot into recovery mode but again and again I m seeing my samsung name and model number as it comes during welcome time as long as I keep pressing the recovery mode combination keys. Now i had lost my all google contacts too and when I am making a call, a warning appears on screen during calling saying- twrp coordinator not working. please help as now I am unable to use any of my app.

Hello! I have a Samsung gt-s7562 with this problem.
Firstly I thought this phone had a kind of virus since every time I connected to internet (wifi or whatever) it started to download a bunch of random apps and the phone were too slow.
So I decided to download an Antivirus but stopped just beginning the installing of the app. I decided to do another thing, this phone have the "baidu root thing" installed which is in chinese. I just looked into this app and saw a "paper bin icon" and just selected a bunch of things which I thought it weren't necessary for work... But nop. When I restarted my phone it became the "unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped" message. I tried the Contact, Phone, Sim Tools clear data and cache, but It didn't work.
Any tips of how I could fix this? Since I find that the baidu root is a powerful tool, Can I do something to repair that?.
Can I install a rom without use the download mode? I would love to have this phone like new.
(I have the same problem that the another guy here, I can't enter to the download mode)
Thanks!
