Okay, here is my problem: after installing the most recent firmware update ( 15.3.A.1.14 ) i can't open the camera, because appears on the screen a popup who says: Error: Camera not available.
Anyone can help me? D=

Yo bro , this happened to me too , it happened after i updated to 4.2.2 which is like a long time ago . Mine seem to be a hardware issue , but i didnt bother using my warranty since i know i cant use it because i had a cracked screen . Am still using my cracked screen XL with an unusable camera . I think you should try factory resetting , or re-updating using SUS or Sony Companion . If it doesn't work , try flashing the ftf file ? You can find the FTF file somewhere in the xperia l forum here .

Hm.. thanks bro, but i've decided: i'll exchange the unit for another, along with the store i've bought.
I hope everything works out and I have a defect-free item in my hand soon enough.
And I'm sorry for what happened to your XL, he is a good player but you know how life is, these things happen.

Hello to all!!
I don't know why...some days ago when i tryed to made a pic with the camera, happened something. My Vox said : "Impossible to open Camera. Camera is not installed!"
is very strange cause i have the camera!! :-D
so..i restart the smartphone and restart to work...but only for some pic..then...at today the camera don't work never!!
Someone know the motiv of this problem?? How i can resolve it? There is the Camera application to install in this case?! Bohh...

Back up all your data and do a hard reset. That will solve the problem.
BTW what ROM are you using?

If u used fake cursor and now removed it, then u need to replace back the camera files u replaced earlier, when u installed it!
so..i reply to all..
i use the original Rom that was preinstalled in my vox..
i do de hard reset..but after some pic that i do, my photocamera stopped..and don't work another time..is incredible!!
then...i use fake cursor for my tom tom.. but i don't think is a problem..
anyway..there is not a camera software that i can install for resolve? cause now is working..but i know that after 10-12 pic that i do, will stop to work!

The camera of my Micromax canvas HD has stopped working after i rooted the device and installed a custom Rom! :crying:
The camera just shows a black screen and never responds! It shows "Cant connect to camera" or "unfortunately gallery is not working" and the camera app crashes!
I installed several camera apps but still its not working!
I cleared caches, fixed permissions! Not working!
Unrooted the device and installed stock rom! still camera not working! :crying:

you will need to take your Micromax phone to the service center and tell them that your camera stopped working suddenly
and while you are going to the service center,Be sure that you have flashed the stock ROM and unrooted the phone as well

The cam is working intermittently! Suddenly it starts working while at times ti remains dead! What to do? Is visiting the service center the only option? Heard they keep the phone for weeks without a proper resolution! :crying:

Just try a factory reset.:good:
And what exactly is the problem with it, is the app not loading or its all black when the app loads or what,, could you please explain..
Take it to service centre they will repair or replace the handset

well according to me the camera working sometimes and sometimes not is definitely a software related problem so I advice you to go to micromax's official website where they must have uploaded the stock firmware and download it and flash the stock firmware
if this doesn't work out then I guess you must try out other ROMs for your phone and check which ROM gives no camera problems and then stick to that ROM.
if you need more help then ask

well i've tried all the custom ROMs that are available online! Still its intermittent! No idea why! Unrooted and installed to stock ROM but issue persists! Android geniuses please guide this poor soul! I've heard horrifying tales about Micromax service centers and how they harass customers! So dont really want to visit it!

i am having problems with it. wen i play some games..they just fc without any notice..but some games r wrkng fine..only few games fc..i have tried evry possible way but no results.
moreover..wen i use fb or messenger app..the screen starts flickering..this happens with vry few other apps too.
please someone help me with problems.
or if someone using this firmware tell me r u facing any problem ?

No I didn't find this type of problem. & also I didn't find any changes only the setting telling that this is "Baseband version: S7500DDME1"
Do you have updated throug OTA or Flashed the new rom through odin??

Hi guys,
I have Xperia J and i wanted to root it .
so i send it to my friend he messed it up
and the situation now is :
1- no mac address available or any file for it on System
2- i tried to full flash my Phone and its still the same but new Android version 4.1.2
Note: i asked him what he did and he said that something like dose application from PC made this problem
please help me asap i tried everything and no one helped and i contact sony support and they said we cant do it .
any advices plz .
check your baseband from settings>about phone.
download your ftf from another source or reflash with official sony flashtool

ask your friend exactly what he did and why did the sony guys refuse fixing?
Small tip from me: never let a ''friend'' do things with your device. If you wreck it, it's your fault. If I were you, I would demand my ''friend'' to fix it in any possible way.
I know its my fault but i thought he can do it.
i asked him and he said this :
1- he made an update from ICS to JB so the Bluetooth and Wireless stopped working with sim card coz we are from Syria.
2- he tried to fix it by Dose programs but unfortunately he damaged it.
after i worked in a new device that i bought Xperia SL .
and i learned alot about android i found the problem is he damaged the MAC address for the Xperia J and in this Module Bluetooth and Wireless in the same chip
NOTE: i didnt find any file in SYSTEM for wireless or Mac address
/system/etc/firmware/wlan/macaddr0
/system/etc/firmware/wlan/macaddr1
/system/etc/firmware/wlan/macaddr2
/system/etc/firmware/wlan/macaddr3
and there is no wlan folder
so im trying to find what is happening plz any help ?
is there anyway to reset everything i mean even MAC ADDRESS

50% of the time cyanogenmod is not done with the camera drivers so it wont work so far, you can try a 3d party off the play store.
