Hey folks,
I got my Moto G today and couldn't resist updating to 4.4.2
Just a quick question - are features like the Google Experience Launcher, OK Google activation from the home screen, and accessing Google Now via a side swipe all Nexus-only features?
If so, I assume these can be sideloaded?
Thanks all!
Tut tut - don't be lazy use search and you will find all your questions have already been answered.

Hello everyone,
I've searched the forum and other ones for this answer, but I haven't had an 100% sure answer.
Today, while going on Google Chrome I've seen the possibility to link an already existing account to a google account? Can I do this in order to buy apps, etc with an Android device? And enjoy the experience 100%?
Thanks in advance!
Hello!
This is my first post and my very first Android phone of all time - so excuse me if I asked something that is so obvious. I am still learning!
I have a Moto G Google Play Edition and I am very happy about everything with it (It's my travel phone, my primary driver is an iPhone 5S and a BlackBerry Z10) I read a lot of article about this phone before I settled on my very first Android and I heard a lot of good things about using stock Android. There is just one catch, the stock Camera app sucks and does not take HDR pictures. Is there a way to load the Motorola Camera App on this phone without rooting? I googled a few methods on the internet and doesn't seem to work (Obviously it wouldn't install from the Google Play Store, I also tried downloading the apk but it doesn't install on my phone.)
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!
:good:
if you want functions this has loads. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.almalence.opencam
It's nice but it's not the same interface
I am a purist...
Up until now, I thought we could not get the google phone app without root.
Coming from a nexus and pixel, it made me very sad - google dialer has nice auto search internet for places kind of functionality.
But I found APK here and it works!

I have nothing to do with this, am not trying to get any credit or anything, just wanted to bring this to fellow S8 users attention.
Hi everyone,
How can I remove the Google Search bar/widget from the home screen of an Android 8.1 AOSP build which is using launcher3?
I'm trying to create a new ROM with as pure AOSP as possible, and without the Google applications. I need a way of removing the Google search bar that doesn't involve installing a third-party app or getting the user to do something.
Been Googling for days and not found an answer to this question.
Thanks all,
Dave

Did you figure this out? I'm trying to do the same.
Hey guys, so yesterday as I updated my phone, I noticed a new Google assistant feature, which is that you can wake up your phone using Google assistant... But did someone manage to make it work or find any setting for it? Cause it doesn't seem to work as intended RN..
Thanks for your answer!
