Anyone who tried this mode?

This patch should help to see all changes on MODed themes on stock ROM.
So if someone is using stock 4.3 and want to install MOD 4.3 theme - please try this patch and report.

FEATURES
What is SUPERUSER MOD ?
I spoke to Niaboc79 and he sugested we should patch services.jar and try to bypass Sony signature check for installing apps which
are not meant to be for our device.
Some of the app from new Xperia (Z1s and similar are not installing after moving into system with correct permission
after installing this mod it will enable the user to use app with out any problems.
Basically we are trying to find a way to build themes for 4.3 without Sony signatures or keys.
Services.jar is patched and it'll skip signature check when you are trying to install any app.
WHAT YOU NEED :
1. ROOTED AND DEODEXED JB (4.3) FIRMWARE 290

i can't decompile your services.jar,
all my tools can't find classes.dex
but the file is there
*edit*
now is all ok,
i have made a mistake :silly:
*2nd edit*
is the same like mine
the only difference is the size of the file.
yours is 2.80mb,
my from the ihackers rom is just 1.32mb

That's good
That could mean mine is O.K... Haha...
It's very simple to patch so I really can't see what could be wrong

I'll add another file in the link (framework.jar)
Both files should be moved to system/framework with right permissions (instructions are in OP).
If someone who is using NUT ROM could add that files to his/her system and try to install MODed theme

@funky0308, I hate this new UI. I like this UI what is now. If Sony give us this ugly UI, I will stay on 4.3 This is my opinion and don't take it seriously

Mate - you don't know how much I agree with you
SonyUI is the best UI I ever saw and I would like to have that on everything.
I should receive Omate TrueSmartwatch and first thing I'm planning to do is MOD UI (Android 4.2.2) to be similar to Sony UI.
I found this quick settings convenient and nice but it absolutely need more Sony touch.
I don't like CM look.

I'm not sure...
It could work but I can't guarantee that 100%...
Make backup and try...
If it won't work I'll make another one but for now there's no need for patched services.jar in ROM.
Custom themes will work only on stock based ROMS and they are already patched.

Well it depends on many things but generally speaking - yes, we'll have to patch it again.
If system update doesn't update framework files, it's just visual fix - then, of course, old framework files should work.
But in this case, Sony changed them so we must patch services.jar from 136.
I'm using 290 - and I'm not planning to go to 136 - just can't find a reason why should I.
I was using 136 for a few days and everything is absolutely the same (for me) except Tapatalk works terrible.
I'll flash new OS when we get something better...

When you are changing system files, always first make a backup.
Then, don't flash zips, just manually copy... let say settings.apk to folder system, change permissions to 0644 and then move that file to app folder (system/app).
Never copy/move few files together - if you do that you'll not overwrite existing apps, you'll just get copies.
If you see, after restart, your app is not working just repeat steps from above with your backup file.
You can use this app to sign apk and it'll, most likely, work after that.

Your Zip can flash => Script OK
But the PROBLEM is
- The color not change => just like stock
So the problem i have met before:
- Before, i try to change the color code in color.xml the ZIP inside asset folder => the color more deep => but when put in to system/app => color not change => just like stock => i dont know why => try cho change the color again: such as RED to Yellow => replace to system/app but the color still not change ???????????????
OK thank, the script is bad... I fix the probem today... But in manuel it work after reboot...

No, why?
If you move one apk by one you'll replace existing apk with a new one.
You'll see that when OS ask you "are you sure you want to overwrite existing apk"?

I'm sure jfx used redtheme.apk as a base and as system already has same signature it won't work...

Mate, I can't remember who built those themes (that doesn't overwrite existing ones) but if you know it would be great if you could modify them.
Not only you wouldn't overwrite existing themes but you'll "expand your market" 'couse one shouldn't be rooted to use them than.
We should be able install them like all others apps

Hehe...no, but it'll impact on system and boot
It doesn't work.
I tried manual and through recovery - bootloop.
It restarts in the middle of bootanimation - so, that's the framework error.
With wipe cache or without wipe.
And yeah, install script isn't good, it doesn't restart device, it goes back to recovery.

Try to turn off all of your xposed script then flash my framework. Hope it will boot successfully. After that you can turn on all your script.

Same. I uninstalled xposed and rebooted. Then rebooted again into recovery to flash it. I got a bootloop after flashing your framework.
After I restored my back up, com.google.process.gapps crashed but didnt seem to affect anything.

Weird, it's working for me. I think there something behind these xposed scripts.
As it's not bootlooping in stock firmware without any xposed scripts installed...
Maybe they installed it over a Rom that has modded Framework files and thats why

No...
I tried on clean system.
When I use my moded framework it's working, O.K I changed only few png's but the point is - it works.
In this package you have only framework too, so only framework-res is changed and it should work if it's O.K.
- It doesn't impact on other part of system - that's what I wanna say.
Don't know what's happening, I would really like to try this MOD.

It works for me, Rom iHacker 2.1
p/s: but the size of on-screen button is too large @@, 44dip should be perfect.

So guy's, can you please upload your framework-res.apk and SemcGenericUxpRes.apk. So that I can compare your files with my base files.
You can try the recovery what @Ayush Singh posted in his last post.
I really doubt TWRP can't handle this.
I'm on some business trip, I'll upload framework files byt can't test it right now.
Tnx mate

TWRP could be the problem. You can try with CWM atleast for confirmation.
When possible upload the files and PM me the link or POST here...
Works fine for me on iHackers i just wiped cache and dalvik cache in TWRP and rebooted and it works even tho i have xposed enabled too.

Strange...but I'm very glad if I'm not right...that mean it works and I'm very happy because of that.
I'll try one more time
Edit: and now it's working...
Why, don't know, but what's important is that it's working
Please, only make smaller navigation bar icons...they are huge.
Tnx

[MOD] Advanced Power Menu - [Z1]

Hi guys...
I present you Advanced Power Menu based on latest framework (firmware 136).
- That means ONLY FOR.136 FIRMWARE -
don't try this on another firmware - YOU'LL STUCK IN BOOTLOOP
Even we have great Xposed modules for this, there's lot of users who, for some reason don't want to use it.
So....
It'll work on all stock and stock based ROMs, only thing what you need is recovery or at least root.

Advanced Power Menu 2.0
INSTRUCTIONS:
Just flash zip file in recovery and restart.
Next things to do and add :
Even I tried to build "soft restart" and "full screen/extended desktop" features in it - I failed.
So, for now, I'll release it and try to work on it and bring you those two options as soon as possible.
I have spent many hours to built this MOD so, please, hit tnx button

Big tnx to:
@iHackers - MOD is based on his APM (firmware 290)
@monx® - I learned and used his smali files to find how to edit smali code
@BDFreak - for his excellent AdvancedPakTool and Advanced framework (without that great apk tool this MOD would be very hard to build)

It's, as I said, not finished yet.

Icons will be changed as well and I'll build two different versions for my blue and red themes.

Could you try one more time, please?

As per my knowledge it is difficult to MOD odex files. And we Deodex files to make it easy to MOD if I am NOT wrong.
PS. Sometimes it works by deleting odex file. (I mean Settings.odex) Give it a try.
