Galaxy Ace 3 Custom Kernel
Hi everyone.I know some of you might be facing this issue where you cannot root at all.Let me explain why,first Samsung has introduced a new feature in the kernel called Samsung Root Restriction Feature and this makes it difficult for users to root therefore i have compiled a newer stock kernel with Samsung Root Restriction feature disabled.I will edit a better thread once Ace 3 has its own forum

actually its for nexus and google play edition phone but its doesnt matter as long as you have the latest google now and google play service and what you should do is just install the goole home only
here i attach the file,it contain 3 apk file but if have the latest one as i mention above,just install google home normally only

Stock Kernel and Recovery GT-S7275R
Good people! As I saw that there is no developer for now for our GT- S7275R , I decided to put myself to develop , starting with simple things, but useful.
Today I bring you the stock kernel (the default one), for people who want to return to factory kernel without having to flash the Stock Rom, and lose all data. Well, let's start :
NOTES:
- It do not delete data from the mobile
- You need Odin
Instructions:
- Download Stock Kernel: http://www.mediafire.com/download/p3kavrda5bm8sa7/S7275RXXUAML1_Kernel.tar
- Open Odin v3.07
- Put the phone in download mode ( Vol down + Home + Power) , Volume Up to accept and connect it to your computer
- If you have connected successfully, one of the boxes ID:COM turns yellow or blue with the number of COM port. This step may take a few minutes, but usually takes a few seconds.
- Place the tar file (Kernel ) in the PDA box .
- Check on the boxes ODIN " automatic restart " options F. Reset Time " are checked.
- Click on START in ODIN and wait for it to finish , it takes a few minutes.
- When the process is finished , the phone will reboot , and READY .
Enjoy the Stock Kernel

Good GA3 (Galaxy Ace 3) follower ! As I put in my post of Stock Kernel , I'm doing little things in Ace Development 3. Today I bring you something else: Stock Recovery .
It is the recovery mode (vol up + home + power) that comes by default . With it, you can not install tweaks , mods or ROMs , only minor official update from Samsung. Therefore, only serves to make factory resets, wipe cache and little else.
But you will surely be useful if you put a "course" for our S7275R ClockWorkMod does not work, and better than no recovery, I have the stock .
NOTES:

Good GA3 followers! Some of you may realize that you have, and others maybe not yet. Our Ace 3 has a problem with the WiFi:
- In slow WiFi connections, we do not have Internet, is very slow and can not navigate.
- In fast WiFi connections, the speed is low and feel bad.
You may wonder why, and honestly, I do not know. But the point, I know the solution. It's temporary, until we have CWM and Custom ROM (this will be very soon, I hope).
Everything is related to WiFi Direct, the solution here:
1. Go to settings
2. Enable WiFi
3. Enter menu WiFi (in settings)
4. We'll see who puts down a section called "WiFi Direct"
5. Open it, and below left, give "Stop"
6. Ready!
* If you do not want to do this every now and then, go to your root uninstaller, and freezes the app called "WiFi Direct 2.0 *

hey there, am owner of SGA3 S7275R about 4 days. I have same issue with wifi. The problem is that i can't wipe data cash from stock recovery. Every time when am trying to do it, i shows me error... I reinstalled stock Rom from null with Odin, but same problem. Is there any way to fix it?
Man, I posted the solution. Read up. You have to stop WiFi Direct
Edit: oh, you mean how to fix de bug of wipe cache in Recovery. I don't know man, sorry

GT-S7270 has CWM, but GT-S7275R hasn't it. So I think that firstly we have to develop CWM for GT-S7275R and then TWRP for GT-S7270

Thank you, I had already discovered the everytime solution but the automatic solution aka stopping and unabling "Wifi Direct" on aplications doesn´t work for me, any hints please ????

A great one
It's a great rom i think. i just flash it aand no need odin anymore. and one more news i have no problem with bin count. because it's not replace the custom recvery. But it can't combine with ashutosh rom. if i'm not wrong, your rom has some tweaking? i red it in the build.prop. And i feel it in my device. now it can run 24 hours just for whatsapp and messaging.:good:

first of all, thank you for sharing firmware, but i have some questions.
1. Does possible flashing this firmware via pc? from fastboot for example. I'ts will be verry nice for blind users wich can't to do recovery and flash via recovery with out speech.
2. Does possible enabling debuging usb mode, enable accesibility, and put all necesary files for that in update.zip? Thanks for all replies.

of course you can bro. just download root explorer, enter to system>usr>keylayout>bcm_keypad_v2.kl.
mount the system to r/w
and then look for key 442 chaton.
and then change it to key 442 cust1
save and exit.
reboot then. and voila the chaton button has ben customized key. just put your favorite app there.
Can you make a flashable zip for native in-call recording on stock dialer to be flashed & used in this ROM similar to the one available on GS3?
The hardware characters are mesed up . For example @/H is now on the letter N and normaly letter n has ' . Also the rest of the characters are messed up. I'm using English US on the hardware keyboard. I had them all right with the original 4.0.4 and with the official spanish 4.1.2 . With your rom they just shuffled .
It's not from your rom it's from the spanish 412. I'll reset to factory default to see if i can get back the normal characters ( i have now the reversed ? character from a spanish question ).
I reinstalled my original Cosmote Romania rom 404 . Everything is back to normal. Is this csc changing the hardware configuration of the keys ?

This is the 1st time I've used CTR and so far like it..one thing I've missed with TWRP was batch install, but it's not something you use that frequently though..
Also tried MIUI - still got issues with memory..ColorOS is actually good, but still testing it out and aside from known issues, everything seems to be stable..

I'm using ColorOS..great eyecandy..stable..no issues with Storage and google sync..only downsides: proximity and light and compass and gravity sensors don't work, front cam is bad, videos also bad..

I managed to root it with root genius... frameroot on offical 1.4 won t work for me. another thing is when I root it on 1.4 with root genius it gives ghost touches.
Color os is great but useless without those sensors, looking forward to new release.
I am leaving in area with low signal, is it possible ti improve it, with modem/baseband file? Or some other solution?
There isnt any update for our phone..official ones are buggy, custom ones are better, and looks like we are going to be stuck a little bit..
Camera isnt as good as it looks on paper, and a few reported problems with touch issues..personally i've issues with low speaker volumes with media and notifications/alerts..
Seems not a great phone IMO..

Any of you guys can confirm if the three little capacitive dots (back, home, menu) at the bottom of the phone have backlight? Mine doesn't seem to be lighted..

Today I will show you how to do the next few processes you are going to do today :highfive:
Now I am sure that some of you are stuck and need help and that kinda stuff on how to:
1.Root (this is the easiest step here )
2.install recovery (DISCLAIMER,THIS WILL TRIP KNOX)
3.Install CM11 or any ROM of choice
And all without a PC :good: .
Step 1:
You want to go to: https://towelroot.com,now click the lambada (big orange a)
It will download a apk called tr.apk, now install (DONT USE GOOGLE PLAY APP VERIFY)
Step 2: once installed you shall see this:

Step 3 (recovery time!)
Download Rashr once your device is rooted! Here is a link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools&hl=en
Now click the tab that says recovery and if I were you touch philz or TWRP recovery. NOW THIS WILL TRIP KNOX,if it says success you are a-Ok :good:.
Part 4 (FINAL)
Now you wanna download a rom, if your note 3 is international LTE then download cm from here:
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=nightly&device=hlte
Now find some Gapps (Google apps)
Here is a link for any note 3: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23578570567713451 (click begin download and wait a few secs)
Now you wanna flash the ROM you just downloaded? Yes? Okay? Good!
Now reboot into recovery using rashr and click reboot into recovery.
Now do this:
1. Touch wipe data and reset
2.once done click install zip then choose your ROM from interna
Or external SDcard.
4.click okay
5.then find your gapps (Google Apps)
Do the same as before
6.now go back to root menu
And then click reboot system now!
Your ROM should now boot! I hope your enjoy your new touchwizz free experience!

All recovery in rasher work with stock

I think root works with exynos but the recovery app will find you a recovery for you. There is no (official) CM for exynos.
Yep, I was actually talking about cm11.

as i know Towelroot doesnt work on exynos SM-N900, anyone can confirm that its working?
But you can reset KNOX trip back to 0x0 with exynos.

Towelroot not working on last release Rom NF4. Confirmed. (9005 though)

To boot into recovery=
you have to hold down the- (vol up + home button + power button) then when Samsung galaxy note 3 SM-N9005 logo shows up take your finger off the power button.

Got everything working except the recovery. After using rashr I got stuck on "recovery is not seandroid enforcing note 3".

Thx, but the only thing that got my out of "recovery boot loop" was going into downlaod mode and install a different recovery fil (n9005-cwm-recovery-6.0.4.7-kk(0125))
going to try x-note now if I can download the file.........tried several times but cant download the damn file.

*** next to problems with installing mentioned in tutorial .. I need to say that custom rom in device can be problem too. For example, I had installed DU rom with merged partitions 1.2GB. First I had to do re-partition, then I returned official MIUI rom through MiFlash tool, and only then flash WM10.
*** Not enough storage is available to process this command (0x80070008: Max buffer sector is 256)
Try flashing with 64 bit PC with win 7 or win 8 installed on it, AS 32 bit PC will most likely give the syntax error/ Buffer error.

Now, BROWSE button is used to provide the path to the folder where the files are stored.

If you have earlier build than .63 (ie .29 or .36) Try this ...
Open the "Windows Insider " application. Into "Windows Insider " application select "Get a preview version". Click to select "Insider Fast", then click on the bottom of the screen "->" Go to the next .In the Confirm page, select "Accept" eventually go to "Finish" to complete the confirmation page.
Now system can automatically find updates regularly, or you can go to the "Settings"> "Updating and security"> "Phone update"> find and install updated manually .

Pretty hyped for this. I really miss the keyboard from my Lumia 920 (I just don't miss the terrible battery life, heat, front facing camera dust and 1000 other issues.)
I'd be interested to hear about battery life and camera quality. I really hope we'll one day get a perfect CM12 ROM but it does not seem likely. Maybe WP is the future?

Yes, so far only Chinese and international mi4lte ( I've seen a leak on MIUI china forum and it was stated for both LTE) but, but I'm not sure .. someone claims only Chinese lte .. Let's wait until tomorrow .. I think it will soon after mi4lte, mi4w get wm rom.

I tried flashing it. Flashed successfully but while booting gets stuck on the Mi logo. Reverting to MIUI through fastboot and then to Ivan AOSP 6.0 now.

Thanks for the heads up! Pretty sad that Mi4w users can't even test it only because of different modems. Maybe they'll release it for our device in the near future?

Your wish. But if the phone doesn't boot up then you have to flash a fast boot Rom to revert back to stock and then flash your Nandroid backup. If you NOT are feeling confident then I'd recommend NOT to try it because you will most certainly face boot loops.

I've been stay on wp10 for one day with my mi4 lte/wcdma/cdma(China Telecom). It works much better than my lumia 520. The most annoying problem is I can't turn off the button vibration feedback and the display is really too bright at night. And of course, lacks good apps.

With TWRP for our version of S5 dual sim I have problem to access sdCard to make backup and the factory reset are made incorrect, after flashing the ROM bootloop.

u can change the grid view and the search app :
long press desktop, click the 3 buttons(they look like an arrow pointed up) to reveal the menu and make the desired modifications to the NOX launcher .
i don`t use xposed and can`t offer informations, sorry.

u need to go in menu to THEMES an there is the button Get more to download from Google Play or Mokee .
Go to the Display and lights and check Adaptive Brightness(its on by default), also set LiveDisplay to auto if u want to protect your eyes when reading before sleep ( i like this)
If u want to replace stock dialer u need to find an topic , download the zip and flash from recovery, feel free to experiment, i don`t have time to make these changes. Dialer from Mokee for me it`s good and fast.

Hi Bro, sim 2 is set to 2G only?
i have sim 1 "LTE recomended" and sim 2 to 2G allways, i don`t swith the network type ( presets after install are: LTE for both sim cards, i don`t know way, maybe there is the problem)
to save battery go in Menu to Battery and on top click Battery mode, there u have Efficiency and Power Save, choice is yours.

U never used AOSP or CM? [emoji3]
Go to menu/about phone/ and then click several times on build number until became developer, after that go în menu to Developer Option and enable root acces for app and adb.
