It works for me on 4.4.2 SlimROM, but it Force Closes when trying to go to the settings

The fix appeared to be unrelated to my crash lol.
Running 4.4.2 and not working
I have the Galaxy Note 2 GTN7100 Running Ditto R2 ROM, which runs android 4.4.2 and Google Camera is not working for me.
i got it running in my s3 mini with NovaFusion ROM and i got duplicated icon (i though this was and update to the camera) and it crashes in settings /:
i have install it on my galaxy note 3, 4.4.2 since i cant install it from google play and its working
It crashes in settings here too.

The purpose of the black bar left and right is to accurately represent what will actually be in your frame, making it transparent won't do anything except make it transparent, unless that's what you're looking for. IMO it'd be pointless.

Here too! The only thing I want from the settings is the maximum quality for the lens blur..
So, can someone who can access the settings and change to max resolution upload the "shared_prefs" folder or files located in \data\data\com.google.android.GoogleCamera

I'm on xiaomi.eu rom on my xiaomi redmi note 4. For some reason when I use voice to text it pops up asking me select a word. On stock rom it doesn't do this on stock miui. Does anyone know what's the reason and how I fix it? Its very annoying to say the least. Thanks

No idea how you doing it are you using Gboard or through Google assistant as I don't have this issue at all with Gboard also try installing the correct language pack also maybe in the settings of the keyboard your using

I have an S7 running 7.0. I love it but hate the Samsung phone dialer. The Google dialer is not int he play store. Does anyone where I can get the latest stock Google dialer version so I can use it on the S7?

I have seen that but I don't know which version to use. I tried a few and none seem to work.
I just installed Google Dialer 14.0.175904292 Tweaked Version (19 November) posted here:

and it works great.
