Install Bam kernel 14fix, it looks like you rooted from a valuepack and that's why wifi broke.
And no, all ICS roms currently used are for developers and are in no way fit as a daily driver, all of them still contain video recording issue and lag issues.
Just use custom gb roms for the time being if you want a completely stable rom.

previously JellyBam, now on X-GamerZ for few days, smoothest rom tested so far :good:
X-GamerZ rom is really awesome. Fluid, no lag, stripped down. Games work fine. I can't go back to GB now. It feels like an eyesore. ICS is just not needed anymore as JB is much better in every way.

what wud be my base to flash x-gamers?is it DDLF2 or XXKPQ?
these are the bugs on the said thread:
1. WIFI doesn't work perfectly. Network strength doesn't show up and the network often disconnects.
2. There is LAG in the UI due to lack of Hardware Composer.
3. Front Facing camera preview is improper.
4. Video recording and playback suffers low framerate issues. Will be fixed soon.
5. Built-in WiFi hotspot doesn't work. Please use third party applications.
are these bugs already fixed? and what does it mean indtall first from A4?wer can i find it?

First root ddlf2 with bam kernel then flash cyanogenmod 10 alpha 4( no alpha 3 or 5) after that flash xgamerz and enjoy. EDIT:Recomended read carefully and understand the correct procedure to flash of each rom. You can find it in the OP of each rom.

Man i saw your post in Xgamerz trhead and just for curiosity. You solved your problems? If no: just try reflash cm10 alpha4 let the rom boot for 10/20 minutes dont worry if you dont have signal the 5 first minutes( its because the kernel) after that, reboot into recovery, do nandroid backup, when finish, follow the instruction to flash directly Xgamerz v2.2/ wipe data / format sistem/ flash rom /wipe cache & dalvik / fix permisions always help / reboot sistem / wait to complete boot,it takes several minutes (not necesary to flash any kernel, rom includes kwerty v3.1 test-2)
Enjoy.
Hope it helped you.

in order to flash a new rom into my xperia U phone.
I have downloaded and followed the instructions carefully on how to install the Xperiance v2.0 Lite Rom. I've installed the Xperiance V2.0 Lite successfully but I am stuck in a bootloop.
At first, I've used the recommended version. Same outcome (i.e. bootloop). Then I've used a Custom version version (did not select the Rosemary font as this normally causes bootloop) but still I get the same outcome. I am not a noob at this. I have flashed many Roms before and all ended well except this.
What can I do? Please help me. Thanks.
Kind Regards,
kbarokut2010.
maybe kernel
maybe your installed ROM does not compatibe for you current kernel. try to download a compatible kernel for your rom and install it using fastboot.

This is a boot image with CWM for stock JB. The included kernel versions are stock Sony (versions 11.3.A.0.47 and 11.3.A.2.1). You may need an unlocked boot loader for this.
This can also be used to root stock JB ROM by installing Superuser through recovery.
Downloads:
Xperia E single
Xperia E dual
Note: Don't directly link to these releases. Link to this thread with current releases instead.
Usage instructions:
Boot to fastboot and flash boot image:
Code:
fastboot flash boot <filename>.elf
Recovery boot is triggered by pressing any of the volume keys during bootup while the notification bar lights up.
How to run fastboot is explained in Sony's instructions. If you still need help with that, please Google it yourself because there are plenty of guides.
Standard disclaimer that I'm not responsible for any messups applies.
Thanks go out to FXP for the initial Nanhu device port.
Release history:
2013-05-26:
Separate versions for single/dual-SIM variants
Shut down option added to CWM
Proper default.prop included
2013-05-13:
Initial release
Tested on E dual and worked like a charm
thanks dude

stuck on waiting device in fastboot...
any suggest?
Code:
C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools>fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce getvar version
< waiting for device >
ps: when normal mode and usb debug activated, adb run very well, also when I try to add new hardware then select fastboot interface driver, my computer said it's installed with code 10... restart my computer but no change... please help... this is my first Xperia phone but not my first android...
thanks
First post updated with new release.
Single-SIM E users, please flash the new single-SIM specific version. The stock kernel on the devices are slightly different, most importantly the battery percentage specification, so the reported battery level will be off when running the other device's kernel.
I am rooted with bootloader locked.
Please tell if I need to get mine bootloader UNlocked for this to work???
And people who have flashed pls give quick steps for how to.....
I am new to Sony device

The method of flashing a custom boot image won't work with a locked boot loader.
There may be other methods like this where recovery is placed on the system partition instead of the boot partition, but I haven't looked into that.
trying to combine with FXP CM10 > stuck on SONY logo...
with MIUI V5 > Bricked... have to use flashtool for recover...
btw, this is great work for stock ROM lovers
not meant for comparative, but your CWM look so better than FXP's one, also can reboot the system properly... ( CM10 still can not reboot phone, even on recovery mode)
It can't boot CM because it includes stock ROM's ramdisk, i.e. the boot instructions. CM will require its own specific ramdisk.
successfully entered in cwm in xperia e dual??? is ther any rom for e dual??? can i flash cm10.1 for xperia e in my e dual???plz any 1????

Well that problem description is a bit too generic. Note that this is for stock JB ROM, not CM10 or ICS. I have tested it with version 11.3.A.2.1 on E dual.
I haven't done another stock-compatible recovery, but I'm hoping to post the first release of my CM10 port next week, and it will include TWRP.
I´ve tested on stock JB 11.3.A.2.1 on C1604 device.
Please, port also recovery for stock only. I don´t want to use any other ROM at the moment.
Or tell how to do.
