Hi guys, i actually updated my xz to 4.3 by some forums in xda so yeah, i remained my root and recovery even though i alrdy update to 4.3 ... and i didn't update straight from the Sony update centre. So here's my problem... after i finish update my xz to 4.3 ... the very first time when i boot my xz after update i still can use recovery to restore my backup file at my SD card using recovery. After few days later, i just noticed when i wanna use recovery mode, now is not working anymore. And when i boot up my xz, when it prompt out SONY logo it got a red led lit up but no vibration,i tried holding volume up or down button is still cant enter to recovery...after trying to redownload back the recovery from xda forum it said its finished installation of the recovery file, but it still cant boot into recovery mode. And now I have no recovery mode in my xz... i need help here, and yeah, my xz now is still root function. And my model is C6603 ...very appreciate for yr help Thx!

1 year ago i bought a new phone from ebay out of china, i buyed it there because it was a littlebit cheaper. Only problem some firmware is in chineese
When i removed the android email program, my phone didn't want to start anymore up.. it just stays restarting.
After hours of googling i needed to bootunlock my phone.. Didn't want to work.. stucked hours on that because it was already boot unlocked.
Proberbly illigal software or something..
Now its boot-unlocked and my phone is S-On
I would like to install new firmware/software that working right because my google play was also always getting error's
So i can't start my phone up..
I can get in fastboot screen
My recovery doesn't work, it stays stucked in my HTC whitescreen
Also factory reset doesn't work, stays also stucked at whitescreen.
Can any xda-developer help me with this problem and leading me to a way so i can install correct software?
I search for hours at forums and google, but i can't get out of it
I hope you guys can help me as soon as possible because i can't make any calls now.

Did you flash any recovery like CWM or TWRP using adb fastboot etc. via your PC? Or did you try to flash any stock or custom rom??

No i didn't use CWM or TWRP. When i use command fastboot i can see my device but when i use ADB he can't find it. I will try the clockwork mod recovery, you will hear from me if that works.

Okey nice i downloaded a recovery and used the command fastboot flash to get the recovery to it.
now i have a english recovery mode on.
Does anyone has good firmware/software that i can install from my sd so my phone is working good again?

I installed windows 7 on my phone. But the only problem i stays rebooting.
I formatted /boot and /factorysettting and now it is directly going to fastboot menu.
I searched for a boot.img but i couldn't find it. Does anyone has a link to a bootimage so i can fastboot that and that my phone is booting correctly?

I really don't get what you have done, just try reflashing the rom if it goes to recovery, if not just install recovery again. Try to explayne it with a bit more details.
And just a tiny question, what did you installed?
I am using sony xpeira j.. i installed cyanogenmod 10 custom rom..when i am trying to flash paraandroid over it using cwm recovery..my phone is bricked..cant run into cwm recovery.
my screen is dead..no logo or anything....i already have recovery in the sdcard.
not able to get it..please help...

Thanks for Your Reply...I recovered my phone..I guess it was due to corrupted cwm recovery..fortunately i was able to connect my device in flashboot mode..i got back download mode using flashtool!!
The problem now is fonts of parandroid and everything is too small..i think it thought my phone is a big size tablet..... everything is ultra small..now i flashed my previous cyanogenmod..

sony xperia tipo bricked
i tried installing aokp rom on my xperia tipo, when it comopleted my phone turned black, when i reinsert my battery the sony logo comes up but the turns back on. after that happens i cant do anything on my phone anymore i.e wont turn on unless i reinsert my battery. please can someone help me since i dont want my dad finding out thanks

Hey all. I have lost my Moto g 4g ughhh like a dog over it but it is wjat it is! I have a Sony Tipo here and I am trying to get some CWM recovery on it. I have read over a few dif threads about how to install it and done exactly as it says but still no recovery will boot. I first tried the normal way and power on wait to see the sony animation and keep pressing - but nope just boots back up to the normal screen no recovery, I have tried to use quickreboot from playstore that wont o it, I have tried ROM Manager and that wont work when i press reboot to recovery. I am lost and its drivin me mad lol. I am not a n00b I have had so so many android phones now and never have I had a problem rooting, getting recovery's, flashing roms/mods ect but this tipo is driving me insane in a round about way Plz can anyone help me out on how I can get recovery to work so I can start to flash some roms and sup up this thing a bit :0

Dammm I just twigged it, the volume - on the tipo I had in my place is broken Is there anyway I can get to recovery without it??
I hate just bare stock I want to get a few roms tested out on this till I can get a new phone. Please if anyone can think of a way

i was trying to unlock bootloader using fastboot commands but unfortunately doing before so, I didn't approve usb debugging and didn't make the factory reset. now it showed the unlocking is done but ended with bootlooop failure. I tried to flash the stock ftf using flash tool, but it is also ending up with bootloop... what should i do now?

bro its probably not a bootloop .
After you flash the stock ftf wait for it ,it will take some time to loads up JUST WAIT

Download PC Companion
Go to Support zone click start
Go to Phone/Tablet Software Update click start
Click Repair my phone/tablet before click the connect button
Click continue
Check the box then click next
Find your phone
And follow the steps it tells you
This is the way i fix my Xperia l from bootloop ..

This is the first timer...everything done and said as per the tutorials,,,Unlocked bootloader as per sony website..No red colored errors as such ..My xperia l does not boot into the rom it shows purple light & sony logo and goes blank then again the phone vibrates & logo comes with purple light led and boots into recovery cyanogen mod,,,,however when i just power it down and switch off and put it to charging it shows the battery icon and charging happens,,,
iam unable to understand the logs and dont know where to find them to post,,,iam freelancer and losing work as i took this risk to change rom,,coz xperia l was just hanging every now and then
i tried 2 other roms ( Primexperia, CM12 ) every time i get reed colored errors ( Incompatibility issues perhaps )
I need help urgently ,,i know the rom has been installed with gapps but,,something is wrong,,,the local mobile repair shop said maybe the side panel where the volume keys are located are damaged so it keeps booting in recovery ( the plastic keys have come off the phone )
he says he replaced and repaired it but still the same thing happens ,,i want RR to start...
