Hi,
Sorry if I did not post in the right category, I was having a difficulty to root my device. I tried in many ways Universal Root, Ginger Break and via command Adb, but none of them worked for me.
My device details:

I was also having same problem of rooting rk29sdk 's board tablet,tried lots of stuff like you, so i got solution :
To install adb drivers follow : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1830108
So after installing adb drivers , i was able to root my device successfully by UNLOCK ROOT from : http://www.unlockroot.com/

[Q] Launcher error

I have a copy of the Galaxy S3 made by Alps running GingerBread.
Originally, it had a Samsung touchwiz launcher(also the ripple lock). The lock works fine but I deleted some files(from /system/app) so most of the time, when the launcher is activated, the screen just keeps on blinking(I can see just the wallpaper between the blinks).
I have been using a replacement launcher since then(which ensures that the deletion of files has affected the launcher). The original touchwiz.apk and .odex are present. May be some other file is affecting it.
I have tried most of the other launchers but I am homesick.
Can anyone having a similar model as me upload their ROM or system.img?
(Please don't offer Holocene or similar launchers. They are nothing like the original(!))

I think its the I9308 version.
My phone(Gingerbread device) is a Chinese knockoff of Samsung S3.

What is it all about?

Trying to figure out what type of phone this is and if it can be rooted

I pressed volume up and power buttons at the same time and got Spreadtrum factory test with no option to flash anything
