Me too!!!
Any solution???????
If you didn't use it for a week or two battery could have run empty. Deeply discharged . Maybe you're able to revive your device whilst plugging in it's power cord and be patient. It could take a while. Fortunate if that's all.
Something like here.
Boot stucks on samsung logo. When I try to charge I see battery with "wait" indicator, no charge progress shown.
Is it dead battery or something other?
Hi guys! I'm having this exact problem as well. Haven't used the tablet for some time, and now it won't turn on. I have tried charging it for a loooong time. Currently it's been charging for 8h,and nothing. I've tried different usb-adapters, but can't find the original one at the moment. Any input or ideas would be appreciated.

its probably because of the battery discharge, but if you charged it for a long time and it is still stuck on boot, maybe your rom has problems.
try to hold power and volume up see if it enters recovery, if not try holding power with volume down . if one of these 2 works out, flash a fresh rom. hope your problem solves .
service center helped me to bring device back to life. they replaced board that holds charge connector and that solved problem.

I am using Virtuous Butterfly with the kernel that came with the ROM. I was trying to check my Whatsapp when i realised it wont reload, i tried to turn off wifi and it also wont turn off so I decided to restart the phone by pressing the restart button. I went to take a shower and came back with the thing at the boot screen. I tried the hold down power and volume down trick but it just wont restart this time!
I tried to use the command "adb reboot bootloader" and nothing happened, I unplugged the cable and it is still stuck on the screen. When I press the power button, the screen will turn off and when I press it again, it will turn on, just like standby mode. I am downloading the RUU now and I will try to flash it, hope that works! If not I will just wait for the battery to die and try to charge it and boot it up again.
Anyone knows how to fix this? Cuz the power and volume down thing just wont work and the phone doesnt have a removable battery
Stay push on the power button instead it restart (with holding the low volume button), the leds will blink and it will boot on bootloader.

I had a similar experience with my first One X (International) slept in the afternoon and woke up an hour later for it to be stuck at HTC welcome screen, at first I could enter bootloader, but no RUU available at the time for recovery, it eventually wouldn't even start after charging to full, just black screen....
I was told my motherboard was bad....
Anyway I hope its not the same for you, try charging to green light and turn on. If you can get to bootloader try reinstalling RUU if possible...
Now the phone wont even start after the battery died No LED when charging no response when pushing power button. Only response is when I hold power and down, the buttons would blink. Is it doomed?
stay your phone on charge for 1 hour and stay push on the power button (it should start after the blinking)

Thank you! It saved my phone! Its now booting properly and I can go to fastboot and recovery without any problems, I wonder what happened though.
I am glad to see it worked.
You know what to do if it happens again now.

Hi
I dont know exactly what wrong with it. Yesterday, i got so many reboots. The problem is that when the phone reboots, nothing comes up except for the phone keeping on vibrating forever. I have to take out the battery, and insert it back in again. Another strange thing is that, sometimes, right after I insert the battery in, (without holding the power button) the phone starts automatically, but after the Samsung loho, it keeps on vibrating. Sometimes, it wont let me in recovery mode.
I did a clean flash of the att official Jelly bean via Odin lasf night to see if it still happened. The truth is, its just happened when I tried to get om facebook. It kept on vibrating until I pressed and held the power button twice to make it reboot. Difference between Att official jelly bean and other 4.1-4.2 rom is that att rom lets me reboot normally after pressing the power button (twice), other roms will maintain the same thing until I have lucky enough to get in recovery mode, and do a restore. However, doing a restore wont solve this prolem.
Anyone can help me plz ..
Thanks a ton.

32) Q. why does my phone not start and just bootloops and/or vibrates every couple of seconds
A. could be a "sticky power button", read the next question and the info section in the 1STOP STICKY
33) Q. how do i test for a stuck "sticky" power button
A. TEST: NO CABLE PLUGGED IN: Remove then reinsert the battery and if the phone turns on by itself and then takes approx 10 sec's to turn off and then starts vibrating every couple of seconds then its for sure a power button problem, its stuck, goto the link in the previous answer for a possible fix.
The key thing you need to establish is if reinserting the battery restarts the phone w/out u touching the power button, if so then the button is stuck
34) Q. how do I replace the power button
A. If you have determined that's its a stuck power button read post #16 PROCEDURE ON REPLACING POWER BUTTON, on that thread there are pictures b4 that post

had this issue a few days ago, it absolutely is. if you never touch the button it sometimes will turn on and work for a while.
You should try a usb jig. I hear they work the odd time for a skyrocket... Ha
Seriously though... power button.

Flash it again and what Gapps are you using? Don not restore your apps on google--->(from first boot after flashing).

This is not the issue. As all others have stated, this is the classic sticky power button issue and can only be fixed by a) mashing the heck out of it to dislodge the offending dirt or lint or whatever, b) running a toothpick or other small tipped instrument around the button, or 3) taking apart the housing and cleaning behind the button. PERIOD. Trust us, we've endured this a gazillion times and this is ALWAYS the answer.

Got a tab plus in completely stock condition. Been working well for well over 2 years now. Yesterday I noticed that the screen is displaying "Warning!! A custom OS scan cause critical problems..... Volume Up to continue, Volume Down: cancel (restart tablet)" The screen wouldn't get switched off. Neither the volume up or Volume down or power works. I let the battery completely drain till the tab got switched off. Then tried to charge, after a few seconds of the charging animation, the same screen comes back again.
Tried the Power+volume up, Power+Volume down, Power+Volume up+Volume down combinations. Nothing works. Never had a sim in the device. Removed the sdcard and tried. No luck.
What has gone wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Bump. Any help will be nice
If you can, try to save everything you want off of it. Then try to factory reset it.

Hi there,
Sorry for my bad english.
Im having a big issue right now with my Nexus 5.
My Android is 6.0 original's ROM (stock) and Im facing a new bug, I was using the cellphone and it turned off without my request, now, when I press the Power Button, it does nothing, when a press the combinations with Volume Up or Down, it does nothing. When I plug in the charger's jack, it boot up, but the boot loops. When I press the combination to Restore or Recovery, it shows the image but turns into boot loops again and I really dont know why.
I cant use it normally, without charging, if I do, this is the problem.
Is it soft bricked? I believe yes, but how can I solve this?
I cant remove the battery, it is "sealed".
How can I proceed?
Thx in adv.
Can you get into fastboot mode? If you can, you could try flashing a stock ROM.
What happens when you just plug in the charger without pressing any buttons?
The back of the phone can be easily removed with a pry tool. The black housing covering the motherboard can be removed and the battery disconnected from the motherboard.

Sounds like the power button has gone bad. If you plug it in and go to bootloader, does it still reboot before you can make a selection? This has been a common problem on the N5. Most of the time the only fix is to have the entire switch replaced by LG or local company... Unless you are very handy with a solder.
Same problem here.
For all those that have the same problem, it is the power button
Had the same problem. Solved it by removing the power button and installed "DTSO: Double Tap" that wakes the screen with the volume buttons.
the only problem is that i no longer have the ability to turn it on once the battery dies, other than open the phone and shunt the contacts.
But it works....

Hi , you probably facing the 0volt
You can check by open your phn the battery statut using a tool named a voltmeter then if you see 0 you should do that
First way
Manualy charge with 4.9 volt your battery with any tool (by puting rod on the plot - and +, it's really easy if you need help I can teach you , you just need the tool . )
Charge it a bit but enought until you see the return power do not stop . Then put it on your phn and finish by charging with a wall charger your device
And be progressife for prevent any damage
Second solution
If you're a moldu regarding this previous explain you can also buy a new OEM battery with out warently it was your problem even if you check and see 0 volt caus you can also don't know how use the tool
Have a nice day
