Recovery?

Anybody know where to get a recovery that I don't have to flash and don't have to be rooted because my coms down and I can't root it. Z4 doesn't work

If i was to recall, it's not possible to get a custom recovery without rooting it.
You could always use stock recovery if that's what you want? ^^

Well that's just it I don't have a recovery anymore it died (personaly idk what happened to it it just stoped working and froze when I wanted to get to recovery..)

You got to have root or your phone won't let you install a recovery. Once you have root, you can install CWM recovery via the RomManager app (free in Play store) according the the sticky in the dev section...

Recovery and Fastboot Problems P500

I wanted to install CWM by zip file on my P500 but cant get into Recovery Mode. It just reboots my phone.

You not have recovery,install it via lgmdp
powered by ics/gb/aokp/official htc build/evo3d/lgp500

If u are rooted just download the CWM app and install using the app

By CMW he means Rom Manager

As said above, just go to playstore and search for rom manager, by this way you won't brick your phone.

Even I'm unable to boot into recovery mode. I'm using the HTC One V.
I tried to boot into recovery mode by titanium backup, ROM manager, bootloader... But it just resets my phone.:crying:

You need to install recovery first by LGMDP or ROM Manager

This is "LG" OPTIMUS ONE and "LG" OPTIMUS V forum.. search for HTC ONE V forum on XDA.
HTCs have different way of flashing recovery!!

Use Rom Manager and flash Clockwork mod

use rom manager with precaution go to a good coverage area then use it
but i suggest u not to use it
as of myself it took my phone to fastboot mode twice
use terminal emulator method
but u should be rooted
download any recovery image(google it) and flash_image(google it )
place the flash_image in /system/bin and change it permissions and then place recovery.img into /sdcard/
and open terminal emulator (download frm market)
and type
su
and press allow
now type the following
flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
and if i helped u press thanks
and dont use rom manager its too risky and i will say use amonra 3.0.6
insteade of cwm

1. download superuser-update's zip & cwm or twrp recovery.
su - http://download.chainfire.eu/382/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93.zip

2. copy superuser-update's zip to sd card
3. flash cwm or twrp recovery via sp flash tool.(just check recovery only. uncheck other file ...other files means all other file in list)
4. reboot into recovery mode.
5. goto install/update from sdcard.
6. select & install su update's zip file
7. reboot, check su & enjoy...

open it
connect ur device
goto tab root, backup, recovery
click on superuser button below backup button( don't do any thing else or u may brick ur device)
after installation complete, click on reboot button, check for su & enjoy

Just use FRAMAROOT application..U can root ur a110 with just a click..It will surely work for MT6577 devices...
So dont waste time download it fast and easily root your phone..
U can dwnld by just googling it...

A Problem With Custom Recoveries Like CWM and TWRP

Every Time I try to flash a zip via cwm or twrp it says done and successful But When i reboot the phone i dont see that the zips has been flashed..... i tried to flash beats when i rebooted the phone i cant find any beats in settengs or any where i tried to flash pure audio, psm, acid sound, and more.... it says done but Nothing when i reboot the phone...... My Phone Xperia C, Rooted, Xposed Installed, Cwm Was installed Now TWRP, locked bootloader

stuck on recovery

I am stuck on recovery mod and i cudn't place the update on sdcard0 as iam supposed to... when i try to apply update through adb my command prompt displays dat my device is not detected.....totally messed up can someone please help me

Put the update on a MicroSD card, turn the device off, insert the MicroSD card into the phone, boot into recovery and flash from the MicroSD.

How to install custom cwm on stock rom...download link please...and does the stock rom support CyanogenMod Recovery

After that open the app and choose what recovery you want and install, then go into xperia L android development or original android development to choose a custom rom, follow instruction. CM recovery can not work in stock.
