I know ive posted this question before but it didnt get any replies and i cant find it so here i go again. Is there any way at all to have system wide emojis on a sense 5 rom like we have on our 4.4.2 roms? Honestly its the main and probably only thing keeping me away from sense right now. They can be black/white emojis or colored ones it really doesnt matter to me just system wide so i can see them and use them on insta/kik/vine/text/etc. If there is and you can help me please respond. As for anyone else going to give me a sly or smart remark please dont.
There is an app that installs a font that enables emoji on the play store.

So I was trying to change the HTC music to the sense 2.0 version and after switching it just force closed every time I opened it. So when I attempted to switch back to the original it also did not work! So if someone could link me to one the will work it would be extremely helpful!! I'm running skyraider 4.0

i'd say you have to restore a nandroid i tried doing soemthing similar replacing the htc_ime and it wouldn;t install the original back so i would just restore a nandroid.
Well isn't it possible just to put it in a .zip and reinstall it? Because I've seen others with the HTC music and the widget worked but the app force closed when I opened it

I would replace the htc music apk, with another. I used the one from the nothing special rom. You can replace it with a file explorer with root access (be sure to change permissions), a zip if you know how or through adb.

I've already tried replacing through root explorer multiple times and the app just doesn't show up at all after that and I know nothing about adb. So I'm honestly really stuck at this point

same thing happened to me. I had to restore a Nan backup. If you are using SR4.0 I recommend trying the Google 3.0 leaked player. Its free, looks way better, plays perfect, the only thing missing from it, compared to stock, is the album art on the lock screen. It does not have lock screen controls BUT since you are using SR4.0 you can add the lock screen option in 4.0 to work with this player. I havent used stock for over a month, and wont go back until SR4.1 with the updated music player included.
You can find the app in the Android Development and Hacking forum here on XDA or just google search it.
But I would love to know why we can't run 2.0!!!! Been trying to get it for a while now.

You can't run sense 2.0 music widget because it is dependent of a sense 2.0 framework which sr4 doesn't have.

Anyone else having problems with recorrection using the stock ICS keyboard? I thought it was working when I first installed it but doesn't seem to be the case anymore. On my Xoom or N1 running stock ICS, if I place my cursor back on a word I've previously typed it will bring back up the auto-correct suggestions, so you can choose the correct one (like if it didn't guess right). Most people familiar with the ICS kb are likely familiar with this feature.
Any feedback appreciated, this is one of the best features of the keyboard.
Edit: Forgot to mention, I've tried clearing the app data of the KB. No dice.

This guy pulled it from his GNEX: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25592151&postcount=7
Apparently its been a really long week.... "recorrection" is only allowed in certain circumstances. I was not using it correctly. If a mod sees this, please close. Thanks.
is this keyboard better than the one from the market?
I've been using it since the guy posted it. I think it's just as good as the one from the market if not better. Reminds me I need to thank that guy...

The keyboard icon shows up when you have more than one available keyboard. That's how you choose which one to use.

On every other android phone I've owned you could have as many keyboards as you wanted enabled without annoying popup icons. It seems that icon is there no matter what keyboard you're currently using unless you disable them in the keyboards settings menu.

I think this belongs here under apps but does anybody know of a quality emoji keyboard? I'm running aokp and now that I can see them I would like to use them also. So far the only one I have really found is multi ling keyboard and I don't really like it much.

Not built in the keyboard, but GoSMS offers emojis.
I use it without problems (Except for the new ones iOS just got with their last update)

Yup guys you can change your system animations:thumbup: via this app u am not the developer I just support this app and would like to share this one with you guys
Description:
This app will make Theming your phone as easy as tapping on a button. The concept is easy:
You tap the MOD you want, and Framework Tool will apply it for you. Currently there are about 40 functions, such as animations, dialogs, backgrounds and other aspects of your phones or tablets system, but it is in beta state, and more will be added in the next hours, days, weeks, months. Now it is your turn! Take control of your phone and make it fit to your mood and style, use hot features as the possibility to use your own backgrounds (in the Settings application as an example) for the system (3.0+), with just a few taps, and no computer required! This application needs ROOT ACCESS and R/W on /system ! This App can now run on versions below 4.0, BUT all modifications are designed for Android 4.0, so they may not work as intended on versions below that!
Warning: Framework Tool does change framework files which may not be compatible on some ROMs or devices. Always make a backup before installing and use at your own risk.
Here's the Link

Please press thanks if I helped you

No it just changes system animations it must have happened if you have chosen a heavy animation on a mid end device
Well I don't think the Gnex is a mid end device... And the only change I made is activity switching to ios sliding.

Bad luck then try applying animations again or instead try a reboot I have always used it on a fresh flash so it was never the case for me
I advice you to use it on a new flash...
You can also set the speed for animations using Framework Tool, in case you they are to slow for you. On start screen open menu and then you will see.
Thanks for yor responses guys.
I don't mean the animation is slow, I mean it takes a lot of time (3 or 4 seconds) to start the animation. Once started, it goes smooth.
This happens only sometimes. I'm trying to figure if this issue is ROM related (pa 3.1). I'm going back to aokp and try again.
Thanks!!

Technically, android waits for the app you touched to draw the first image, then animates to it.
Another thing: You are on Android 4.2 right? Then the changes Framework Tool applies to the framework (in the aspect of app start animation) are "ignored".
The only impact on performance is if you change the "standard background", if it is very high-res, if will definatly have an impact on performance.
Sincerely,
Janis Elfert (dev of Framework Tool)
PS: As always, if you like my app, make sure to rate it!

If you haven't already, leave a nice rating at the Play Store. It would be very nice, cause it's rating will jump to 4.00 then !
It works most of time for me.
I bricked my phone last week because I used 990 software...oops. I got it all working and in the end I now have CM7 on here.
There is only one feature I really truly miss from my old phone (it was JB I think...) and that is being able to stack icons on the desktop/homescreen. It's why I tried to upgrade this phone in the first place. Are there any apps that imitate this feature which work on our phone?
You mean make folders on the home screen with more than one app in them? That's more of a launcher thing. Try Holo Launcher. That's a good one with a ICS/JB feel that supports folders.
