[Q] How to recover my stock ROM with my all applications - Samsung Galaxy Core

Hi,
I have GT-I8262 and I want to recover my stock ROM with my all applications installed by me after purchase
any idea or solution
thanks

How do I backup my stock recovery
I wanna use TWRP recovery but first, I have to make a backup of my current original stock recovery..
I use windows..
My current software version is : 3.28.401.7
I searched this on internet and also xda...
Everyone asks that with giving their models. Does that change something? I mean model number?? Mine is HTC One M8
How can I do that? I know that is really broad question.. But I am really new to android and have to start from somewhere..
I mostly develope in C/Java for Linux/Windows..

While on Stock, first install and Go to Recovery(TWRP/Philz),Select backup and it will backup ur stock Rom with all aplications as it is. & if later u also want Stock Recovery by uninstalling twrp/philz,u will find stock recovery img on General section,by which u can do that.

HTC Magic How to restore - no backup?!

You'll need to find a rom you want to flash to, and then flash that one.
i have downloaded the original rom from htc, but the phone wont sync with the computer?
You will need to flash a new rom using the recovery method.

[request] 1.18.401.1 rom

Hello everyone!
Is there anyone out there with a backup for the stock 1.18.401.1? I don't mind if there are apps or something installed, those can be erased but I need the stock one.
I really need it for something and it's quite urgent.
I also would like this in ZIP (ziped IMG) or RUU version. Especially to extract RADIO to this thread.
My phone came out of the box with 1.18, had stock rom with few mods (launcher and apps only) but the latest backup I had got corrupted and if I do restore it the phone remains stuck at the HTC logo
have you tried reset in bootloader without restoring your backup?
the stock 1.18.401.1 ROM

[Q] I need to make "update.zip" working from stock ICS recovey..

Hello
I need to create "update.zip" file that I can apply (flash) using the stock recovery that comes with stock ICS 4.0.3 .. Changing some wallpaper files and notifications....
I found this link :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=732957
But I am afaraid that this will not work in ICS , or at least it needs CWM ...
I don't want to use CWM recovery , reason = I have to unlock the bootloader and loose all my data ...
Thanks
You can try to root your device with SuperOneClick and install ROM Manager in order to install CWM.

Now back to topic question :
I need to make "update.zip" working from stock ICS recovey..any tool or how to ?
To my knowledge it needs to be signed by google to do it through stock recovery. We have no current way to sign something like that, which is why we use custom recoveries.

Can't the dev gurus "imitate" the signature from a stock ROM zip ?

Wouldn't it be a whole lot easier to root with SuperOneClick, install Titanium Backup, unlock the bootloader, install ClockworkMod and then restore all your data?
So far Google's signatures haven't been cracked as far as I know, and doing so would probably only cause them to change them. Also, the stock recovery has far less features, such as nandroid capabilities which are very useful if you want to tweak your ROM every now and then.
I know losing the data can be annoying, but if you back it up properly it won't be too bad. Now you're just waiting for the point to bite the bullet and do an oem unlock, because you know that deep down inside you want to. =)

Can I install SuperOneClick from the phone ? Have you got a link ?
Actually I unlocked the bootloader and used CWMR before when I downgraded from ICS to GB (then went back to ICS by the way) , but locked the bootloader again after that ....
Can you please post me a "problem free" root method for stock ICS ROM 4.0.3 ? is it the superoneclick ?
Thanks

Question :)

Hey guys, dont know if this is a silly question. I have an HTC one s (S3 model) and I was thinking about to root my phone and install a custom rom. If i am unhappy with the results and wish to go back to my stock rom can i do that?
Also if yes, is there a way to kind of save my current rom and reinstall it again if needed?
Thanks guys !
Once you are rooted and flash a custom recovery you can backup your current rom using the recovery. With that you could go back to using the stock rom if you did not like the new one you flashed. There are many roms out there though so don't get discouraged if the first one you try isn't what you were hoping for. There are always more out there to try including many based on the stock rom.

Hi guys

and i still work on 2.3.6 and i hate it and it's very and super lagy :crying:
i know how to setup stock rom from odin , it's very easy
but i really can't get how setup custom rom
andi don't know any thing about custom rom ,
and hope any one tell me how to do and explan it to me simpely , not good in english
and tell me the best custom rom that i can use it every day and work fine and fast , and get links for me
i speak arabic & i'm not good in english , sorry for my bad english guys
All custom roms for android 4.x have few bugs. So, if you are okay with that, I will suggest installing CM11. It works nice except for few bugs here and there.
But, if you prefer a fully stable rom, you have to stick with android 2.3.6. In that case, I will suggest FlyOnGB rom. Also, you can try doing a factory reset and see if that helps.

FlyOnGB: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2353292
As for setting up odin, you can use it only to install md5 or tar files. nearly all custom rom are uploaded as zip file, and are to be flashed from recovery mode. You will need to copy the zip file to phone, and boot into recovery using Vol Up + Home + Power key. Of course, you will need to root your phone to go into recovery mode.

Custom roms are already rooted, so you don't need to do anything on them. To root a stock rom, you need to flash the cf-root for that particular rom, and then restart the phone. Use this link to download the cf-root file. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331253
To flash the cf-root file, first you need to flash the stock rom, and restart the phone. Then you can use Odin to flash the cf-root just like you flash a rom.
Google apps are your default android apps (play music, maps, google search and such). You don't need these necessarily, as you can download them from play store too. Few roms have bugs with play store apps, therefore they give you modified version of them in that thread.
If you want to flash the google apps, you can do it just like you do it for custom rom. After installing custom rom, just reboot to recovery mode. Now, select the google apps zip file, and install it the same way you installed the custom rom.
If you are stuck, follow the steps from those link as it is. Use this link for more help. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1894737
