And yes I know I won't get something like that but I want something were you think its at least all 9's for mids highs & lows and bass. And beats suck and Bose or any other monster product so don't give me none of that.

Gosh damn i spent 30$ on Apple Earpods and thats about it and it sets me off to a good start they sound really nice since they use Paper drivers and not plastic.

I suggest you ask those kind of question on reaper or gearslutz forums. Those are much more audio oriented.

Give these ones a try, don't be fooled by the low price, the built-quality is actually pretty good and the sound quality outperforms many, more expensive earbuds:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/AWEI-ES-900...22511054?pt=US_Headphones&hash=item20db8ea0ce
Stumbled on 'em in a review while I was looking for other earbuds. Unfortunately I can't remember the site that reviewed 'em.
The reviewer was impressed as they sounded like $100 earbuds.
Just for fun I gave 'em a try. Never stopped using them. In any case it outperforms my old Sony and Creative earbuds.

Klipsch S4i in East headphones are the best on the market in my opinion. You can probably find them online for a cheaper price. For the price that they come, they have the best sound quality. If you're looking for a lot of bass though you might be underwhelmed, although the S4i produces accurate sound.

i believe that depends on WHAT you want to hear, if you want to add bass to your music maybe some beats or something like that, but if you want some clarity , maybe some Bose earbuds, they are pretty neat as in ear monitors (i'm a musician) and usually they have a flat response which is the best for hearing EXACTLY what you are supossed to hear.

I have a pair of Sennheiser ear buds with a noise canceling function. Comes in real handy for long loud bus and train rides in rush hour.. They were like 59 bucks last year.. Really nice quality and they go loud. Picked em up at Bestbuy.
I keep hearing great things about the Beats earbuds though. They may be my next purchase. Although they are pricey!

Audio Technica !!!:good:

I like my mid range Skull Candy. But the ones which came with my Samsung phone are decent too.
I realize there a lot better, but for the price, I think they are pretty good options.

Head on over to the forum at head-fi.org

I use Creative EP-630, they sound good & price is reasonably good.

Go to a store in your area and buy skullcandy earbuds or any that are $5-10

@dude52
If you are an audiophile.. You should personally visit the shop and check your favourite songs on the headphones you like for yourself..
Btw.. I use audio technica ath-sj11 for every thing..m not an audiophile though
fyi Audio Technica is a serious Japanese brand which provide audio solutions like mics ,etc at the "Grammy Awards! "
So no need to worry about the quality!

i'm using Sennheiser MM 70s and so far they are the best i've ever brought.

In your budget you can also give a look at MP4Nation.net, they have a good choice of IEM.

Senheiser in ear

I use the "Redemption Song Midnight" In-Ears by House of Marley.
Very good sound, with lots of bass and balanced mids an highs

This has been something I have wanted to ask for a while. Thanks

Headphones - Galaxy S

Hi. I'm going to bought headphones.
I'm thinking about
AKG K518, K450, K540
ATH-D40fs, ATH-M40fs
I have voodoo sound and i need good headphones.
(music - rap)
Any ideas, suggestions?
Other (better) headphones?
Well, AKG are the best according to any music freak, but be careful about the neck band ones, some of them are worse then cheaper headphones.
I'm using Sennheiser headphones I bought for 29€ (not professional, of course) and they sound really great. Go for Sennheiser if you're unsure.

Get the Xtra bass headphones from Sony(MDR-XB500/700), Best quality you can get for your money (especially with listening to rap)
They are superfine to wear and good build quality. Dont get the 300's (they suck) Get the 500 (under 50 Euro) or the 700 (around 80 Euro)
You should get headphones with inner bass for rap.
I've got Koss Porta Pro - best for this price I think
For hip hop / rap i recommend u buying beat by dre
Beat by dre is too expensive... I want to give 70-100$ for headphones.. How about numark redwave?

Using Voodoo on JVB, for out and about Sennheiser PX100's are an option, great sound out of them, for home listening I use Sennheiser HD485's, use them for watching blu-ray through my receiver too they sound brilliant for their price. If you want something ultra portable but don't like true in-ear buds pick up a pair of Sony Fontopia MDRED21LP's they're the perfect compromise between over- ear and in-ear, and thanks to supercurio they sound way better than they have any right to.
Anybody know where I could pick up a pair of AKG K412P's? I don't want to buy from a Chinese seller online, want the genuine article not clones.
+1 for the Sony's - I've used these for a few years and they are great!
I've even used these in the Gym and they don't fall out like some do.
Guys i want to headphones, not earphones I was thinking a lot about Sennheiser HD380 pro and AKG 518. but Sony XB700 are interesting too
I would buy the K 518. The sound is amazing for that prize.
But for mobile phones i prefer in earphones like the monster turbines.
Just wondering what are the best in earphones that stay in your ears. I had the galaxy s earphones that came with it and they always fall out my ears when i'm not even moving so then i got some JVC earphones and they stay in my ears but the quality is awful any help or ideas would be great would pay upto £30 (45 euros) thanks.
How about Goldring NS1000 headphones I use them with Voodoo sound & listen to rap as well & I can say with confidence they are well up to the job ....
If play.com ship to your country then they are EUR 68.99 free p&p ....
Thanks for the response but it's for my birthday so it can't cost that much however I have settled for the seinheisser (can't spell) earphones maybe the cx400's

No problem, you won't be disappointed
@OP
To get crisp, clean and detailed low ferquencies (or in other words BASS) for 70-100$ you will need to buy open back headphones. Closed ones in that price range are absolute crap, they always sound like the music is coming from a basement/warehouse/bathroom. So basically your choise comes down to:
1. Koss Porta Pro
2. Sennheiser PX100/PX100-||
The Porta Pro are fine headphones, but for bass heavy music you will probably find them a bit lacking plus they are not very comfortable.
The Sennheisers are brilliant at the price of 35-50 Euro. They absolutely destroy everything else in the compact class headphones when it comes to bass reproduction. They are also much better than many more expensive and quite a lot bigger headphones.
Note - Avoid in-ear ****e in that price range. Should you choose not to listen to me and go for in-ear, then at least make sure that you can actually stand their presence in your ear for more than 15-20 minutes.

I need a new pair of headphones (not earbuds)

Well my headphones finally broke after 4 years, I love it and it's time for me to get a new pair
Can someone suggest a good but a reasonable one at a decent price.
Looking for noise cancelling and black
Thanks
the ones that came with the sensation are really good imo
and i have/had the bose in ear and around ear, ibeats and Solo HD's
there really cheap too on like ebay. maybe 15 bucks, some are cheaper, like 5 or 6.
oh you want noise canceling lol..
id say the new bose around ear are good... but i'd look into other brands like Koss, Sennheiser, Audio Technica and Klipsh.
Never had any of them but I hear they are really good brands

Thanks, but all of those are pretty pricey
Yea they are. I mean, if you want bang for buck you can look at the Sennheiser HD Series. They go for pretty cheap on ebay.
I really love the Bose AE2's tho... Amazing sound and I can never hear anything around me lol
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll see what I can do
The bose ones look nice
They're not noise cancelling but the sennheisser HD-25 mkII are probably the best sound quality I've experienced from headphones.
They are what most sound engineers and DJs use, so they are designed to cut out a large amount of external sound - I have no problem listening on planes, busses etc.
Cheaper than Bose too.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-II-Closed-Headphone-headband/dp/B000TDZOXG
EDIT: you can pick them up for around £130.00 on ebay
I'd recommend the Sony MDR NC33, they are in ear noise cancelling headphones and you can pick them up online for between £50-60.
You could always try the Sony MDR NC7 which are considerably cheaper at around £20-30 but are over ear.
Out of the 2 i would pick the MDR NC33's because they give a comfortable fit and are awesome in general, plus they're Sony so they are well made and have a wicked sound quality.
I don't think you can get mobile noise cancelling headphones, i know you can get noise cancelling bluetooth headsets but not as headphones, i don't think so anyway. However, if you're looking for a quality pair of mobile in ear headphones with good sound quality, and well, noise isolation and not noise cancellation, i'd try the Bose MIE2i, they go for around £90 online.
Oh wait, i've found a noise cancelling pair with an inline mic, they are the AKG K390, they are for £73.26 on Amazon.
But yeah, i'd still recommend the Sony MDR NC33 if you intend on using them solely for music, or the Bose if you want a mic.
Hope this helps
Thanks guys for the suggestions I will definitely look at the Sony ones over ear, I don't like the in ear ones merely because after sometime my ears hurt weird but yeah

I got mine for $85 bux, well the V-Moda Crossfades LP (originals). If you are looking for a bit cheaper headphones, I can wholeheartedly recommend the SOL Republic Tracks. About 100 bux at Best Buy. Try them out and see if they seem good or not.
I have both the V-Moda Crossfades LPs and Sol Republic Tracks HD (HD is the highest model-also bought for $85 bux). And both are on par with clarity but the bass is there when needed. But the Sol Republic are a bit more on the bass-y side, but not obnoxious. lol
However if you are looking for cheaper than that, go with the Koss Porta Pro. Its bit retro, but its and awesome headset for clarity. (retail is about $35 bux). Not bassy as the beats, but they are moderate in bass but it's just clear as heck! Mine broke after years of use lol. I am talking about a good 12 years or so.

For sound quality I would rather go for JVC.
I bought Philips SHE8500, which is on top why I don't know, and was a bit dissapointed. The level of BASS was low.

It also depends on how you want to use the earphones..jogging or just lying down listening to music. If you prefer using it while jogging, i suggest you get something sweat and water proof. And somethings that doesn't easily come off when you jog.

Headphones

I'm looking for a set of headphones within the $100-$150 range. I have looked around many forum discussions and finally decided on getting the Audio-Technica ATH-M50. However before I buy it I'm having second thoughts.. I have an HTC One S with beats integrated (obviously) and listen to mainly rap/hip hop, but occasionally rock also. I was wondering whether if I should go with the beats used or go with the M50? M50 I heard was better but us more focused on the complete sound of the song and more suited for songs other than rap/hip hop. Whereas I like my bass relatively heavy in my songs. Which beats provide since that's kinda their selling point. Also does beats for my phone have any distinctly different effect on the two headphones or does it just boost the bass of the song? Also I heard that Beats have noise-canceling technology which sounds really appealing, but my question to you is the feature worth over the M50's? Any thoughts are appreciated
Sent from my HTC VLE_U using xda app-developers app
I have the in-ear Monster iSport immersion headphones and I am more than happy with the sound, really pro sound from in ear headphones, I was surprised with the bass they produce. Music is crisp and loud even in max volume, no need to use it over 70-80% though since the noice cancellation is adequate.
Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
The M50's are a very nice set and would certainly sound better than Beats, but you might consider where you are going to be listening. They are a set more geared toward home/studio. While the closed headphones are great for being able to ignore the outside noises of everyday travel and not disturb the people around you with your music, you might consider the fact that for safety reasons you might not want to be unable to hear horns/sirens/shouting while walking around. You wouldn't have to worry at all about quality with that set though as long as you are okay with closed headphones in general.
I have a set of Beats Solo HD on sale on eBay. They worked very well with Beats for me and have amazing bass. The only thing is you need an equalizer app to turn up mids and highs when playing rock or alternative. They're going cheap if you wanna check em here http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=181053072394&index=0&nav=SEARCH&nid=60174087912
The Beats have great bass but if you want richer sound I'd suggest another brand.

As with any company there are good and bad models for what you want. I love my Sennheiser hd280 pro's, but they don't have overpowering bass like other models. I was more concerned with sound blocking and clear sounds. You really have to read reviews and test headphones out in the stores (with your own device/music) if you want something great.
The Beats EQ works with anything you plugin. Beats boosts bass a decent amount with a little boost in treble.
I'd check out head-fi's website and ask around there, be sure to be specific about your taste.
I personally took their $30 recommendation for IEMs and went with a Meelectronic M31. Never looked back, works wonders with the phone and every genre of music sounds great.
Hope I helped,
Happy New Years!

Fantastic presence. The HD280pro have a little more transparency in the sound, but you can't beat the Monoprice 8323s in the <$100 price bracket. There's just no competition.
Everything from dubstep to Diana Krall was gorgeous on these puppies.
Don't know what the $ price is, but can recommend sennheiser HD 25-1 II
I use the Soul SL99's, they sound great, I love the clarity all around and a good thumpy bass. I am looking for something better so I'm also checking this thread for some good suggestions under 100 bucks.
I use sennheiser HD 280 pros. I bought my pair 9 years ago and I've used them every day. I don't use speakers ever so I've litterally used them every day. Yesterday they finally broke and guess what? I'm buying another pair this week. They were $299 way back then, but they're only $100 now.
Highly recommend them!

Check out the razer electra i got em and they are amazing!
I normally take hifi magazine reviews with a pinch of salt but the Soundmagic E-10 IEDs got pretty good reviews from users too, so I splashed out a very reasonable £30 or so for a pair. It took a while to get them to fit correctly in my ear but the results are very good indeed, especially for the price.
I thought I had bought a lemon when I first tried them, but fitting the correct ear bud is vital for good sound from IEDs. When I use 'over the ear' headphones (usually at home) I use Sennheiser HD280s.
hbforce
try Logitech or Genius ............... !!!!!

Best Headphones for s4

Can anyone please suggest a good headphone with extra bass and decent sound quality under 500dollars
Which is better senhieser or JBL or Bose?
Can I use the headphones while playing games and at the same time listening to music
You have to specify which type, over ear or IEMs. I'll just give a few IEMs that are good.
I'm currently using Shure SE215's which already IEMs . Though they're just entry level earphones in the Shure SE lineup, they are pretty darn good.
However, if you go higher up the SE lineup, they have the SE 315 and SE 535 which are better.
However, Shure isn't the best. There is Heir Audio, which from what I have heard is a beast.
I've listed a few IEMshere..
Westone 4
Heir 4Ai
UE900
JVC FX700
Sony EX1000
But if you want to find out more about best headphones, go to Head-Fi.com.

just picked up the LG HBS-730 from best buy and love them the sound quality is awesome, had them price matched at amazon for $53.50 what a deal!
supports APT-X for crisp sound and surprisingly good bass.
Klipsch Reference S4i ftw!
Need great ones with music controls...most of them don't control volume. Suggestions for earphones with volume controls?

Just keep in mind that not all earphones with low impedance will work on i9505, see this thread here.
A surprisingly good pair for 50 bucks or less would be the Brainwavz R1. Otherwise, if you've got cash burning a hole in your pocket, I highly recommend a pair of VSonic GR07 MK2. They'll run you about 180 bucks on Amazon and are worth every penny, but require a burn-in period to really make your purchase worth it.
The ones that come with the phone are actually pretty good. I got some comply foam tips for them and they fit great. The flat cable is really nice too.
Link to comply foam please?

NTune by Monster, they smoke Beats and use less power to perform at higher levels.

Buy
Shure SE535 $440, SE425 $300, SE315 $200
Etymotic ER-4 $250
Westone UM3X $280, UM2 $225
Sennheiser HD 650 $500, HD 600 $400, HD 558 $160
AKG K702 $270
Starting from hearing aid products, long history producing musical equipment, actually do R&D for headphones, and those are recognized as reference headphones.
Do not buy
Beats, Skullcandy, Bose (overwhelming bass)
If you want a fancy looking one.. choose Sony MDR-1RBT.
I've owned several pairs under 175 and the best I've found are the $15 skull candy ones. Try those out before you spend more.

Overwhelming bass? The $15 skull candy that I have are very well balanced. Bose had so much bass you couldn't hear anything else.

Bose ie2 FTW. I use poweramp with them. Can skip tracks with the lil remote/mic. I wouldnt buy anything else.
I like the way the fit in my ear And when im out riding on my road/mtn bike the dont slip out when Im sweating.
For the guys who say they have overwelming bass, what are you using for a musicplayer? Any other headphones seem to be more on the 'treble' side for me.....
To each there own.
Honestly, aside from the VSonics and Brainwavz models that I already mentioned, I wouldn't consider Etymotic unless you need the hf2's remote. The ER-4 used to be great and I had a good ride with them, but stepped up to some Shure SE530s and the difference was night and day. STILL, I'd rather run the VSonic. Westone are nice if you can afford the audiologist appointment and custom molds, and I will personally NEVER run Bose, Monster, or Beats (btw, Monster=Beats and don't let anyone tell you otherwise...same build house and everything).
Need another clean, SQ-oriented set for around 60 bucks that you can legitimately work out with? Try the Sennheiser CX680. I ran the i variant with my 4S for a decent amount of time and they sound great with clean bass (not overemphasized), stay in place, are sweatproof, and don't start to hurt after 5 minutes of wear.
haha you need to check out NuForce NE-600X... They are Sound Isolating Earbuds. They are metal and for $25 on Amazon they sound better then any earbuds $100 or less.

Take any major magazine's reviews with a grain of salt, man. It comes down to the sound signatures you like best, after all. If you look at the popular choice for over-the-ear-budget cans (Grado SR60), they get universal acclaim. Put them on your ears, however, and most will hate the way they sound. Same with the B&O models you'll find at Apple stores. NuForce excels in DACs and headphone amps on the cheap, but I wouldn't put too much stock in their buds.
