Hello,
does anybody have clank while playing music on speakers? This happens no matter the volume. Is my speaker broken?
edit: found out that this only happens with player pro. I installed the dsp pack and now it's gone.

Been using htc sensation for a week or so.
While playing an mp3 using either the stock htc sense audio player or doubletwist, a call comes through. I answer the call. The audio pauses. I hang up the call. The audio resumes but soulds mono and muffled like a very bad quality mp3 rip. This not just for the audio from the mediaplayers, it is all alerts/ notifications.
Anyone have any experience/ resolution with this issue?
Corrupt audio drivers? Faulty unit?
I have the exact same problem. I hope someone can answer this. I found a workaround for that, but it's not elegant. When I notice that the sound in my music player is "mono"-like, I disconnect the headset, play my song over the speaker and then connect the headset again. That fixed the sound quality for me.
BTW, I couldn't find a way to reboot my music player either (which I think would have solved the problem too). Stopping the running/cached process for the music player doesn't work either. The music player continues playing.
Hope this helps a bit while someone fixes our problem in a more elegant way.

I highly doubt its corrupt audio drivers. I tried duplicating your problem, but it didn't happen for me, my apologies. Would a simpler fix of just pausing the song, disconnecting and reconnecting the headphones fix the problem?

The solution of playing the audio over the speaker then reconnecting the headphones worked. Thanks tnimoruen.
You have to unplug the headphones from the 3.5mm jack then play the audio over the speaker though. simply pausing the audio while the headphones are still plugged in & resuming playback will not fix it.
Not elegant but more "economical" than having to restart the device after every phone call.
glad I could help
I found a more elegant solution While listening to music, press the middle button in your headset twice (as to redial a call) and immediately hang up the call. That should fix the sound without having to disconnect the headset and play music through the speaker.
Hi, when I play any form of loud audio through my Samsung Galaxy Note speaker, it cuts out. This includes incoming ringtones, loud music through music player or loud youtube videos. If I lower my device volume down to about half it works fine but any higher, it cuts the speaker out!
I have flashed 2 different roms but both have the same issue. Is it a hardware issue or a software issue that can be fixed?
Thanks
hello,
When I listen music I randomly hear a buzzing sound on the speaker or headphones. It's like the sound is stuttering.Does some of you experienced this?
I hope it's not hardware related...
Hi Guys,
My first post as in this forum as I regularly find the answers on these forums but this particular issue has me foxed. I am having a problem with sound distortion when using any headphones connected via the headphone jack. There is no distortion when playing audio/video via the built in speaker or via bluetooth audio, only via the headphone jack.
I have uninstalled an reinstalled a number of apps such as Spotify & Poweramp. Switched on the likes of SoundAlive and switched it off again but no joy.
Wondering if this has happened to anyone else, whether it was Hardware/Software and how you fixed this. I havent found any other post with the same symptons so I would be keen to see if this has happened to anyone else.
Once the volume gets to 65% and up the Bass and vocals become very distorted and tinny like an equaliser is way too high but this shouldnt be the case unless I am missing an equaliser other than the one in settings and what was in Poweramp until i uninstalled this.
Thanks
The earphone sound output and quality is quite terrible. Is there any possibility to tune it for better quality? Is realme going to fix this issue by any OTA update?
Turn off real HD Sound in sound settings. It messes up the sound
I already did. I am using Poweramp music player.
You need to use RM5p's default music player to enjoy real sound effects-like bass and rest stuff. No other music player apps supports.
Else, you have to download music player with built in equaliser. I use default music player and also these - EQ music player and an app called equaliser V 1.2.2.
Just hoping that the sound issues will be resolved in next OTA updates.
Any Solutions for the sound?

The overall phone is so great but the sound output sucks.Have tried all sorts of equilizers to no avail.
Is this a hardware issue or a software one? I mean has anyone tried using a usb C to 3.5 mm converter cable?
I've this issue with my X2 Pro too ?
Any updates?
