Hello, I've a Dicra Tab719. I had problems with wifi (unstable) so I installed cm10 but wifi stopped working completely and when the screen turned off for a few time it didn't turn on again and I had to force reboot :/
Now I reinstalled the original rom (not quite, i cannot find the original, i had to install the Tab710 stock rom instead), but the problems are still there.
So the problems are:
- wifi doesn't start. I switch wifi on but it doesn't start and it switch back off
- the screen, after a while that is on sleep, doesn't turn on
I'm mainly interested in the wifi problem, it's useless without a connection (it has no 3G module).
Any idea? Thanks in advance everybody!

Hi, recently i`m experiencing technical problem with my Asus.
I think since I installed PRIME1.7.
each time that I turn off the screen for more than a minute, the WIFI card doesnt stop turning off and on. Then I must reboot the tablet to be able to connect WIFI.
can anyone help on this plz. Now I`m running on PRIME 1.9 no_3g and still have the same issue.
I have the exact same issue. If I were to tap the power botton to sleep and leave it for a while then the Wi-Fi keeps switching from On and Off without staying on.
Only a hard reboot seems to bring the Wi-Fi back on.
I am on the latest Asus Firmware and Wi-Fi version 5.2.58
I had this same problem, it seems to be an issue with the latest google maps update. Go into settings>applications>Manage applications then find maps and uninstall the updates. It worked for me, might work for you guys.
I uninstalled updates for maps and it worked for me.
but to be fully honest, I also uninstalled a couple of applications that use the wifi connection ( freewifi, for access points in France)
Same problem here on a pretty-much daily basis. Sometimes multiple times per day. Just found the following thread on another site, which suggests it to be a DHCP lease problem:
http://www.transformerforums.com/forum/asus-transformer-help/4774-wifi-turning-off.html
it might be a ROM problem. I've tried prime, revolver and arhd and with prime and revolver I would get a lot of disconnects in a mesh 802.1x network, but arhd is much more stable (still disconnects once or twice in a 8hour block while i'm at work, but it disconnects and reconnects by itself pretty quick).
Hi everyone,
so i just recently set my phone back to stock and installed all of the OTA updates from t-mobile. But now I have a wifi issue. Whenever I turn WIFI on, airplane mode automatically goes on and I lose signal, but WIFI will still be functional. I know there was a simple fix for this before because I encountered this the first time I rooted my phone but I dont remember what it was, and I tried searching posts for it.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance
Ever since my phone got the XNPH38R update I've been having an issue with wi-fi
If I connect to wifi it works fine but as soon as I lose the wifi signal it can't seem to reconnect to the same wifi without rebooting the phone. Its especially annoying when I walk to get the mail or come home from anywhere.
I've tried manually connecting to the wifi after being disconnected in the android wifi settings menu but it doesn't connect until I reboot my phone.
I'm running the 64GB oneplus one on t-mobile in the usa.
Any suggestions?

I've had this issue on CM, except it'd work when I manually connected back to the wifi - I believe it's an issue when the phone goes to sleep it's failing to resume wifi connections.
The only thing I could suggest is try downgrading back down, or doing a clean re-install, and reporting this issue on CM's jira, so they can fix it.

I'm on OMNI now, so I can't really help you out, but do try unticking that 'wifi optimization' option, or perhaps using a tasker profile to turn off and on wifi whenever the screen display turns off and on respectively (at the trade off of loosing connection, so you won't be able to download stuff while the phone's off).
i have the same problem..
Hi all. I have a weird issue that after Googling it doesn't seem anyone else has had.
The issue started earlier today, in the morning. I was using my phone on the WiFi and it was working phone, then my phone crashed, restarted itself.
I noticed it wasn't connected to the WiFi, went to the WiFi settings and where it usually says the list of networks it said "Turning on WiFi" and the slider at the top was greyed out so I couldn't turn it off.
I tried airplane mode and that didn't help. But the phone was working fine on my mobile data so restarted.
Now the weirder part starts. I basically have an issue where, if I turn on the WiFi, my phone crashes, or doesn't act like it's turning the WiFi on.
Even going Settings and then pressing on the WiFi option freezes the phone.
The problem started when I was still using 4.4.4 however since the problem developed I've used my mobile data to download the updates and now have 5.1.1 I think.
The problem persists even after updating to the most recent version and doing a factory restore. The phone is currently completely stock with nothing downloaded on to it. All I did is go through the first time setup for the device.
The WiFi currently is off, and the phone is working however it won't connect to my data, it has the signal bars and then an ! instead of a 4G icon.
If I try to turn the WiFi on it crashes the phone.
The phone is still under warranty so I plan on contacting LG on Monday however it's currently 3:34 AM on a Sunday so I have a day until I can call them and was hoping for a solution in that time.
Thanks in advance. I have the phone to hand so anything you want me to test I'm able to.
There is some information I didn't type as I don't know what is important was trying to avoid a wall of text so if you have any more questions I'll answer I best I can.
Thanks for reading, I hope you can help!
I am trying to connect my phone to wifi and its stuck at turning on. My Bluetooth and GPS are working fine. I am also able to see MAC address for my wifi and Bluetooth. But my wifi is not working. I have tired Flashing stock ROM, custom ROM, Performing hard reset etc. None of them worked. I am wondering there might be some data corruption or some file missing that is causing this problem. Similar to this "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHGQn0Av2hI" where his moto g is having the same problem.
My S6 is currently running Android 7.0 Stock ROM
See the Attached screenshots
Please Help..... Its WIFI
Hello - currently having this issue on my S6 right now.
Updated from 6.0.1 to Stock 7 using Odin and Samfirm
Then a combination of custom roms and stock flash, also didn't work.
Upon trying to access FSM (service mode) I don't see any of the wifi power save options that most people report that fix it.
Any idea? There are a few of us in the internet with this but never a solution
There's a good chance that this information is useless, but I got this on another Samsung device, after writing 0 to /sys/class/rfkill/rfkill1/state.
WiFi stuck on turning on;
WiFi and BT MAC addresses are OK;
GPS and BT are OK (tested);
WiFi Direct is clickable after using the back button but does nothing;
After a few attempts it gives up.
After writing 1 the WiFi started working again(tested). But it didn't stop working by itself, it stopped working because I wrote 0.
Logcat's attached.
