I just this HTC Desire 600 dual sim, all looks ok except for the absence of "software update" link in the About Menu. The phone comes with 4.1.2 but I want to upgrade to 4.2 or 4.3.
Would appreciate any help with this.

I have HTC Desire S, EU/UK version. Recently my phone offered me to update Android version to 2.3.5 and HTC Sense version to 3.0. I installed these updates and realised that it is a nightmare, phone works slower (factory reset is done, didn't help) and overall looks is terrible (at least for me). Apparently this update has few nice functions, but still I would like to downgrade my phone back to Android 2.3.3 and HTC Sense to 2.x.
I have searched google for some solutions on this, but haven't found any, only similar complaints from HTC Desire S wanting to downgrade their software versions. I believe that if someone have a solution for this it will be useful for many Desire S owners.

I've rooted and unlocked my Htc desire 601, but now I can't do the upgrade to KK 4.4.
Do you know where I can find the recovery stock for this device with brand TIM (italy)?
Or there something else to do? There are some other roms for this device?

- My phone only runs 4.2.2 and HTC is not upgrading it - Bummer!!! I don't want to go and buy a new phone.
So can I upgrade this phone to >= 4.3 while keeping HTC Sense, and not bricking my phone, losing data etc. Any comprehensive guides would be appreciated.

No, you can't. 4.2.2 was EOL for the One X

Am using HTC one e8 dual sim phone, right now when i check the software version on the phone 3.06.720.2 with Android version as 6.0.1 and HTC sense as 7.0.
But i see in google lot place mentioning that current version is of latest software is 3.10.651.6. After which is tried downloading a 1.6GB ROM file of HTC One E8 sprint and update manually but i got a failure saying signature error. Could anyone please let me know how to update the software to 3.10.651.6
