Does anyone know of an app that is similar to temp+CPU? Im sure a lot of you already know of the crashes it has since 4.3. I would like an app that is just like it. If anyone knows of one please let me know. Thanks

tempmonitor works great with 4.4.2
Hi,
System Tuner, not for all the function because I think you don't need them (I mean compared to a simple widget app like Temp+CPU) but you can have the same widget as Temp+CPU (informations)...
And notifications too

Re,
Yes, CPU freq, CPU temp, RAM, CPU load, etc... with different styles of widget and 1*1 or 2*1 widgets, font color, number of values to show (1 to 5 in the same time), time refreshing, etc...

Hi,
Honestly try the free version first to see if all the different settings for the widgets are availables (like I mentioned), maybe it will be enough for you. I use the pro version so...
Screnshots for? Maybe you'll find more info here: http://www.3c71.com/android/?q=node/2 (there is a screenshot which is not on the Play Store with different widgets)...
EDIT: mine for now 2*1 (transparent background with CPU freq-CPU load-CPU temp-free RAM):
Related
I think it would be awesome to have a widget that shows CPU voltage, clock and maybe temp. Coming from overclocking the heck out of computers, monitoring that stuff is a must. A transparent overlay (maybe wrong terminology) that's visible in a specific screen area, that doesnt scroll with homescreens, stays put, would be the ****. Of course just a plain old live widget would be awesome too. Any Devs think this is worth pursuing? i looked in the market, hope i didnt miss something and waste yalls time. This is a screenshot from EVEREST for the PC.

SetCPU. Atleast for some of those.
I use battery indicator, that seems to do what you want.

I thought it had freq and no meant as one statement no other widget
yeah with the newer kernel technology and the undervolting, we've been seeing more freezing than normal, and i think some of it is coming from lower freq as well as the oc'd ones. It would be nice to be able to watch the voltage fluctuation along with the clocks. Plus it would be cool.

looking for a .conkyrc for Android widget or live wallpaper, anybody know if one exist, or anything similar?

You realize that .conkyrc would be a configuration file presumably for some system monitor tool named Conky, per google results?

yes, that is correct. The question is if there is an App that creates similar results on the Android OS?

Just to clarify, you're looking for a Conky version/port/clone/alternative for Android, right?
If so, then a simple google search showed nothing relevant but forum posts like yours asking the same question, and even though my google-fu is a bit weak at 4:30 AM I believe if there was a good replacement it would appear on the front page (2nd - 3rd at most).
Depending of what info you want to display some system monitor widget might be enough. It would be easier to help if you provided more details on what would you like to see on your screen exactly.

A system monitor widget would be cool,
but done in the style of a minimalistic Conky-type application.
Such a widget would need a high refresh rate which widgets aren't really intended to do... I personally use System Panel for my "sysinfo" type stuff.

What about a Live Wallpaper with such info?
This is exactly what I am talking about, it would be nice to have this as a widget.

Hold your home key and click on ram status and someone tell me is this is normal? I only got like four to five programs running and I'm always at like 50 to 70 mb left.

depends on your launcher and widgets. and sometimes your browsing history. you csn clear it with no ill effects.
Only got 15 widgets but just thought it was kinda low. What type of numbers are you guys getting?

only 15 widgets huh? is that sarcasm? well I have about 140mb free. it could be some differences in the freememkiller settings or it could be that I only have one widget and 3apps open. considering opera alone is useing 40mb id say you ram use is about righr for 15 widgets.
Nah didn't think around 15 widgets was a lot ><
This is all I really got on my screens...
what launcher are you using to get your messaging app to look like that? and to have the badges on the bottom?
Mine is currently at 232MB out of 428MB. I don't have much running other than the usual background processes/programs... 3 widgets running, no open apps at the moment.
For as much as you have going on (widgets, etc), I'd say your RAM usage seems about normal. Have you cleared memory?

Yea whenever I use my task kilter it goes to 190ish then drops
as programs restart. Guess I was freaking out over nothing.
It's just strange that my motorola backflip has more ram with the same apps and widgets going. I guess cm7 really makes an insane difference.

I would like to make a request for a clock widget similar to the one shown in the galaxy s3 picture below or possibly one similar to the lg ICS weather clock widget shown in the video below that at 2:17

I would be gracious to anybody who could create or find a widget very close to these. I do happen to have a copy of the lg weather widget but I can only use it on the lg launcher, which, although is cool, is not what I want it on.
go to this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1387518
and ask someone to link you to a SGS3 type clock. Many people have released it.
Unfortunately, the weather on UCCW no longer works due to google API being shut down. Any other ideas? I love the clock.
I know a modified LG weather to look like it, but clock is more left.
(I dont log on alot, so i may reply late)

It depends. If you're using touchwiz5 launcher I can give you a flashable zip that has the actual clock. If not, then try something else

I am on the touchwiz launcher. And a zip would be great. The other ones I've tried force quit and say "weather main has stopped".
I'm on a rezound running sense 4.0

I would like to present the new “Neon Clock” created by CodeDaemons team (which consists of two graphic designers and one programmer). It is one of the first widgets created by us, but we did our best to ensure that our application would work efficiently. It is completely free version of Neon Clock, however there's always a possibility that payable version will be available in the future.
Beautiful Neon Clock in Google Play
And our profile link.
We are looking forward to read Your opinions!
Cheers!
oh... these look nice!! thanks for sharing. I don't normally use a clock widget, but I might use this...

I would use if the clocks were transparent, any plans to do this?
Been using for some hours now, it just seems to be draining my battery, any solutions?

Sadly - no plans about that
@tranceph0rmer
please note that those apps will display false battery usage as the service for clock is only ran once a minute and is disabled for the rest of time

I second the transparency, I think that would look nice. About the "false" battery usage though, why would it be reported that way if it wasn't actually using that much battery? Is that just because (some) battery monitoring apps really don't take into account times when widgets/apps/services aren't running? That just seems odd to me, however I am not extremely experienced in the way these things work.
It's not a battery monitoring app,
It's the stock htc power usage displayer.
Hmmmmm......
First come smiles. Then come lies. Last is gunfire.
hmmmm we'll look into that
+ maybe if few more ppl show their interest in transparency option we will think about that
