That is because hboot 2.16 has a different partition system. Try wiping your sd from twrp

Yes you now have hboot 2.15 but with maximus u used hboot 2.16, it formatted your sd with a different partition system and now hboot 2.15 can't read it
I had the same issue and with twrp from cm11 thread i could wipe my sd. Now i can use my sd without any problem

Try to wipe sd with twrp from this link 's first post if it's not the one you are using already. And if it doesn't solve the problem you can try to flash firmware again and then use twrp to wipe sd

Might be the rom you're using.
If you're on FULL stock rom/phone, then maybe its your sd card has the prolem. If this is the case, use Panasonic's SD Formatter to reformat your sd card separately from phone. Use google for that software.

check the format of your SDcard in the 4EXT Recivery. In not fat32, reformat it and align (there are options for both procedures in the 4EXT recovery menu)
I get an error whenever i try to install recovery.img via fastboot. (Image writing fails). I've tried TWRP,CWM and Stock Recovery. Is there any solution? And fastboot is working as i can successfully flash kernels.
Why don't you try flash image from terminal.. .check index for reverting back to yannou90 recovery

You can install CWM recovery via ROM Manager. It's how I installed it. But it had trouble mounting sd-ext, so I reverted back to Yannou90's recovery.

You mean by running the recovery.bat with your phone in fastboot mode? That's what I did to go back to Yannou90's recovery from CWM.

Wrong section though - you should ask questions like this in General.
BTW, try to re-flash the recovery in Fastboot mode, I've noticed that it's glitchy if boots up only sometimes. I've attached TWRP recovery, u can use it - 100% working.
Thanks!

I screwed up pretty good. I tried the team nocturnal method to fix my SD card but it didnt work. I was told i may need to RUU but i would need to be s-off. How do i get s-off with no sd card able to mount? I can get to fastboot no trouble but i have no recovery. I tried to flash a new recovery a few times with no good results. Can i even get s-off without the sd card?
