As requested by a friend, here is Sprint Free 1.1.
Sprint Free is a very simple app: It just downloads a file, in the background, over and over. The idea is that some providers will terminate your contract if your data usage is outside their limits.
Reference: http://i.imgur.com/PjXVpEy.png
What it does:
Downloads a file from any location you want, but in small pieces, so it uses <1MB of your storage space
Options:
Start on boot
Custom URL input (has a default)
Custom Interval (10 seconds default)
Notes:
This app does its best to force a mobile connection for the file, even if you are on wifi. However, not all devices are capable of this. If you'd like to test yours, just run
Code:
adb logcat -s "SPRINTFREE"
and look for this line:
Code:
requestRouteToHost result: true
also note this line:
Code:
startUsingNetworkFeature for enableHIPRI result: 1
-1 = failure
2 = most likely your phone is not capable
If it is unable to use mobile, no worries - whenever you go off the wifi, it will automatically reconnect to the mobile and continue downloading the file.
Please Note: This application will incur heavy data usage. Please make sure you know why you are using this app, and that you have setup everything properly!

Ok... my attempt to connect eclipse with github (windows) was... well, all of my source code got deleted. (Not in the recycle bin - deleted, gone)
So, I had to do a data recovery, piece the files back together, hand create a new eclipse project...
Anyways, I'll get this uploaded tomorrow (besides, there's a tweak I really need to make before I release the source. Need to use some intents rather than a couple threads watching a sharedpref - it's highly inefficient the way it is, but it was a rush job)

New app just popped up, 'Awesome Drop'. You just open the app on your phone, then go to http://labs.dashwire.com/drop and put the access code from the page onto your phone and drop files right into your browser and they get transfered to your phone. No account, just simple file transfer wherever you are.

neat, thanks
useful if you don't have the usb cable with you
This can be used to send files I have to my friends with Android phones. Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
This is great, just hope the site is able to stay up from the strain of a lot of concurrent file transfers.
Yeah I've had this for a little while, it's handy for transferring small files, but I noticed it tends to choke/hang on files over 100 megs.
How?

it's a one way app, use 'websharing' or something like that if you want 2-way
Actually quite awesome.
I wish the reverse was possible though.
A tab that you could open and then drop files from a built in file exp. into the drop box.
Well, the only thing that stops me of using this "Awsome Drop" is the lack of Opera.
But that might be the lack of HTML5 support from Opera, rather then the app. and website creators fault thou..Even thou Opera 10.60 was a "giant step" towords "full" HTML 5
heres a video that i did on the application to give users visual on how easy this really is:
Hi agian!
I couldnt wait on Opera Software or the app website too like each other so I downloaded a firefox.paf.exe too the computer I was using yesterday. And it worked like a charm, the only thing Im woundering about is when the "prossesbar" at the website is finished the prossesbar in the app. isnt full.Does the prossesbar installed and running on the phone view an other prosses?Like total amount how many MiB Ive downloaded or how much I can download to my cell before its full?
Just use drop box.... and share folders with friends...

Encrypter Decrypter is my second Android app. Again, this is a simple app but does what it needs to do perfectly.
Encrypter Decrypter - My second Android app
This app can convert your text in a reasonably secure text.
Note: Saved files are saved in /sdcard/EncryptorDecryptor/Encrypted_Texts
Compatibility: Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) and above
------------------------------------------------
Features:
- Encrypt and the encrypted text is directly copied to your clipboard
- You can directly share the encrypted text too using Email, Facebook, WhatsApp, SMS, etc.
- For large text files, the files can be opened using a file manager and the encrypted text can also be saved to text files (This is the reason why the read and write permissions are required by the app)
- The new Tabbed UI (swipe-able tabs)
Please check it out. I hope you like it.

Certainly. But my primary aim as always was to learn something new. I try learning new things and implement them.
I know Java pretty well, but I'm new to Android and it's APIs. So building a strong crypto would meaning working more on the Java part, whereas I wanted to spend more time getting hold of the 'Android part' of the programming.
Usually I take up 4-5 new things to learn per day, and if possible implement them together to build a simple app. But seeing the good response my friends and family are giving me on this, I may look forward to building up a stronger crypto. Can't completely ignore building up basic algorithms!

Hai, I'd like to share with you an LOLCODE interpreter and editor that I have been working on the past few days.
It was made in three days so expect a few bugs here and there, they will be fixed in time.
It is open source! There are two parts of the app:
The console and editor itself: Apache License 2.0
The LOLCODE interpreter: GNU General Public License 3
App source: https://github.com/bandoncontortion/LOLCode
Interpreter source: https://github.com/bandoncontortion/LOLCodeInterpreter
If you're interested in helping on the app PM me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Features:
- Run and test LOLCODE scripts
- Edit LOLCODE files

Or MediaFire: http://www.mediafire.com/download/2d2c54r65ef7vqg/LOLCodeAPP.apk
this looks interesting lol
ill make sure to give it a shot (once my device comes back from repair).
thanks for this!!
btw First!
HAHAHA This is awesome
im totally trying this out
what are the limits of it? is it just like print this and copy this and do some math here and stuff, like enetertaining developers when they get bored or frustrated?
or does have like some deep usefulness(i.e. file movement, external script execution, graphics manipulations)
Second
(i need to feel important too)

It's pretty basic. Mainly just a for the lulz language to entertain developers but I hope to work off it to make it a little more functional sometime soon.
Ha itz funny,
One little bug.
When i press open, and then back, it goes to Home, instead of back to the editor.
LOLCODE What!?
What is LOLCODE?
And what does it even do, if it does a thing or two...?
Can I haz moar lulz?

error
I've just posted information about an error with this application. It is on Google play. In case someone cannot access Google play I've posted it below:
If I try to execute any lolcode (even hello world) it displays this error in the command prompt:
I/O Error: EOCD not found; not a Zip archive?
I have tried to reinstall but it didn't help the problem.

Please note that this is the free version of Unlock History. Purchasing the full version supports further development of Unlock History and is truly appreciated.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dhruv.unlockhistorypro
This new app secretly checks and show all successful unlocks, apps used and the duration for which the device was used so you can check if someone else was using the phone, making your android smartphone more secure.
It is also a great tool for parents to monitor the phone usage by the child, or one could spy on their friend's phone as this app works silently.
The feature to set password makes sure that only you can check your device's record.
The complimentary widget not only looks good but also makes it easier to view the last unlock.
Main Features:
- Option to set password.
- Material UI
- Silently checks usage and shows no notifications.
- Automatically starts when the phone boots.
- Older usage data get cleaned up regularly if configured.
- Consumes very less battery.
- Very light weight tracking mechanism.
Mod edit: Broken DL link removed.

Good Idea
But When my Friend can unlock my phone it can Delete history of this app
+
:Suggestion:
Add Option to Set Password for your app (When Opening your app).
Or at least when Deleting History.
:good:
Expect more features in the next update

So why was the app pulled from playstore? And can you share source code?

It was 2009, I create a project to enable the apk icon show up in wondows
it's been a while I left the project, but now I restart it and re-write all the code with a native apk reader (20 times faster), and I have added several important features.
it's still free and open source on github
it's keeping small size, only one dll is needed. (around 600k)
it even shows ipa (iOS) appxbundle (windows phone) package icons.
I'm still adding new amazing features...

I've been using your app since 3 years ago and I love it!
Thanks for all your hard work!
By the way you might wanna look into fixing the A record for your domain, browsing to apkshellext.com or http://apkshellext.com doesn't work, only www.apkshellext.com works. I recommend setting up the www as the CNAME rather than using A record, which I'm guessing is what is currently setup.

thanks, I see it now. I was working but somehow it doesn't work now. I made a domain forwarding to let apkshellext.com direct to www.
And I made some update, check the site for update.

Any update to this? Seems to have stopped working with "Newer" APKs.
