this has been discussed already, look before you post something that has been talked about. look at the pinned topic in this section called "[RC-FAQ] >> Frequently Asked Questions for Motorola Moto G [Updated : 2013/12/13]"
that should answer your question

Is anyone else having issues with the xda app force closing? it just started today as did my scorecenter app not being able to connect to the internet. I have not done anything lately except for Google maps updating.
any ideas why or any solutions?
I fc on searches Since I upgraded the app today.
My XDA app fc's every time I do a search or try to view a post. It was working all morning then all of a sudden it force closed. I'm running SR'S sense 3.1rc.
Does anyone know where I can find the old xda app to use until the new gets updated?
EDIT: I just tried viewing posts without signing in and it worked; no fc. Maybe the app developers can look into that aspect.

Depends on the rom. Not every rom is supported. Redemption rom I know is not.
I have been getting this error in the play store everytime I try to download an app free or otherwise. I have tried clearing the data and clearing the cache and I'm still getting it. Running RG2x MIUI and Trinity. Suggestions?

Check your credit card information on your account. My amazon app store was doing the same thing to me, free or not, until I realized the card I had on the account had been expired since January.

Just a thought. I realized this started for me the same day I added another phone to my account. Of course the other phone is for somebody else with a completely different Google account, but this is the only variable I can think of. Do you happen to be on a family plan or anything like I am now?

No. I have installed Juggernaut 5.0 for my Samsung Galaxy SII. I don't think I had this problem yesterday when it was installed. I've wiped cache, dalvik rebooted and all.

If you don't know, then it doesn't really apply to your situation.
For clarity...cyanogenmod and a lot of the other roms aren't really suppose to include g(oogle)apps. These are the apps developed by Google such as maps, Gmail, play store/market, etc. So when you flash a custom rom like cm7 you also download and flash a zip file which installs these on your phone manually. All done through clockworkmod recovery.
I noticed that basically any of the less-popular apps in the play store can download and install without a problem. Only popular things like angry birds space and some of the other random things I tried seem to have this problem.

What my fellow xda user just said! Do a quick Google search for latest gb Google apps. Download file and flash in recovery think latest is 8/28
Only if you running gingerbread base rom
Edit : http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
There you go.. Put on root of sd card and flash. Cwm will do the rest

Well I can say there are A LOT of forums on here regarding this issue - however they date back to over a year ago. I've uninstalled some system apps (My Account for T-Mobile) and other non-essentials. I don't assume that is an issue. But like I said the past couple days it gets that error. One forum suggested removing the Google account then reinstalling, however my phone says it requires a factory reset for this. I've already spent lots of time customizing my ROM... Any other ideas?

I solved it by deleting AdFree, changing the date to somewhere in 2009, downloading AdFree again from the store and restoring the date correctly!

Thanks for this solution. Evidently the developer removed the software from the Play store and to their own site. You can install it from www.bigtincan.com/adfree, or search in the cloud for the 8.45 APK. Thanks everyone who responded!
Or you can just search for the new name on playstore. Adfree Android is the new name. I found that by reading.
Or use AdAway a much better app.

I am asking about the problem of my Atrix 2. Since I have a problem, I need to use my Nexus to post this question.
Wipe dalvik and cache after installing rom and gapps, then boot up the rom. Not sure if it will solve it, but wont hurt to try

OK. Just making sure since a malfunctioning play store shouldn't render the phone unusable. You could try going to settings/apps/ and clear data for the playstore. If that doesn't work then -->-->-->-->-->

As the title states my Google search is no longer working after the new update. The only way I can get it to work it to clear cache, data, and uninstall updates which will then revert the app to factory form. After doing all that the app works no issues but then the app updates itself and then i keep getting same error message every time I try to load it.. Anyone else have this issue? Running P6800 with JB 4.1.2. Thanks in advance.

Indeed, the release of 11/21 is no good either.
I have been looking all over the net and can't seem to find any info on this, Google hasn't even acknowledged there is something wrong. Maybe this is only affecting a very small number number of people.

Both Google Now / Search and Newsstand have been crashing on launch with the stock ROM. But on my other JB devices no such problem. I tried rooting this tablet. No change. Then I flashed the unofficial Cyanogenmod 10.1. That solved the problem.
My assumption: the Samsung stock ROM is the source of the problem.
What did I learn?
- My tablet is running smoother without all the Samsung crap. I should have done it even sooner!
- I will probably gravitate in the future to Nexus devices where the OS is not compromised by vendor-motivated overhead. And it's easier to get updates and custom ROMs.
- Because Samsung has not been fully cooperative with the developer community, ROMs often lack certain device drivers. (Another advantage for Nexus.)
If this motivates you to root and flash just be aware of two known deficiencies with the ROM I am using:
-no tethering
-once you turn off wifi you'll have to reboot to turn it on again.
(Thanks, Samsung for withholding wifi device drivers from the public.)
We shouldn't have to install custom roms in order for an app to work. I have tried to report the issue to Google but I have yet to receive feedback. I have flashed many roms and many of my Android devices but I longer wish to do so since no one rom is fully functional as it should, there will always be issues. I too may consider a Nexus device, but at the same time I have always liked Samsung and their products but this one issue with this app is a little annoying.

Hi Manipur,
Try to download this:
http://sdrv.ms/18hoDxb
Let me know if any problems.
Whether Samsung or Google, the android environment can come across as chaotic. So much going on with all various versions.
Samsung keep selling us pretty much the same devices with new software, I'm not particularly impressed their pace of improvements.
Google products seems to work well on Apple ios, android is still missing functions available Apple for a good while now, funny how that works.
