Hi friends, I am trying to use wifi over PPPoE connection mode on my my rooted nexus 5 running android 4.4.2. I have tried an app called wifipppoe on play store to connect to my wifi. It displays a successfull connection message but I am not able to browse internet on it.At the same time, my samsung galaxy grand duos i9082 running android 4.1.2 is able to successfully connect to the wifi using this app. Does nexus 5 supports wifi over PPPoE ? Do I have to install any custom kernel to get this functionality on my Nexus 5....Please help.... Many thanks.....

Hi Friends, I have found out a new result.After successful connection to my wifi using wifipppoe app, I can ping 195.249.80.32 OK but if I try to ping google.com it answers unknown host.Also, when i type 195.249.80.32 in my chrome browser, it opens the google site. But if i type google.com, it doesn't open.
So I sense some DNS problem here. Any ideas or suggestions on how to fix it.

Found any solution? My girlfriend has the same problem with her nexus 4 with kitkat.. her old phone, galaxy w, could connect without any problem (PA jelly bean 4.2 with pa kernel).. I'm hoping that it's a kernel problem, maybe some drivers or modules are missing.. I try to use hellscore and franco kernel but no result..

Did you tried use static addressing instead of DHCP in the wifi settings?
You can try to setup your ISP DNS there.

Sounds like you lost your EFS. IIRC there is a way to get it back, but I forget the particular thread (but search can be your friend ).
Hi guys! I had rooted my G s5 about 3 months ago and i was asked if i wanted to update the software by samsung. I ended up updating it and i lost my root,but not only that, my google play services stopped working. My play store says no connection and when i tried adding my other gmail account, it kept saying " couldnt establish a reliable internet conection to the server". I have a good wifi connection and i know i put in the right information to login... Please help me fix this!!! I have fully unrooted the device and it is now stock and running 4.4.2 android version. I havent updated it to lolipop. Would that fix it? Also, my internet connection works because i use it for non gmail related activities. Even after factory restoring it, it still wont work for google services.

So i just downloaded zANTI for my samsung tab to see if it works and to my surprise it didn't
When ever I try to do a MITM attack i get this error
Error setting http interception
nc: bind: Address already in use

Sir, recently five days back I purchased new zte Nubia z9 mini From eBay . yesterday I put new sims on mobile and installed WhatsApp and other apps . but I facing a problem its WiFi or mobile data apps are not able to connect the net until that app is not open for example if WiFi is on and we are able to browse net on browser but the WhatsApp will not connect until I open the app manually. It don't show any msgs notification . these problem not there on company installed apps . plz give suggestion s.. To resolve the issue. I've tried phone reset still problem der

HI, I'm trying to create instagram account through Memu (android emulator) but i can't create anything.
i tried to change my ip, I used ip proxies and I even formatted my PC, nothing had succes.
