Love the Fire TV interface but hate how restrictive android is. Would Like a MINIX android box but want to know if there are any Roms or launchers like the fire TV that work on it? Thanks

None that I have personally seen, I have the Minix and think the included launcher is pretty good but I use the Android TV Launcher, SquareHome is also a pretty good UI for the TV. There's lots of them just go to the Google Store and search for TV Launcher but I think you'll be the happiest with Google's Android TV Launcher. http://www.androidauthority.com/android-tv-launcher-play-store-575473/

I wonder, does xbmc kodi run on all these android 4.2.2? I'm looking at the pieces with 2gb ram / 8gb space.
Also, can I assume the standard google tv app (on both android and ios) will be able to control the stick?

The CCwGTV launcher is incredibly sluggish and laggy. Is there anyway to replace it with the stock Android TV launcher?
