Hello,
I did a stupid thing! I have this tablet here proscanvideo.com/item.asp?itemnmbr=PLT7033D and it has a RK2928 CPU, I tried to install CWM using this method : androtab.info/clockworkmod/rockchip/install/ from root shell, it all went okay and I used the generic version, but it didn't work...My recovery is now gone, the tablet is usable but I really need my stock recovery, or a CWM version to work.....When I try to boot into recovery it does nothing, the same with using command "adb reboot recovery" anybody have a recovery img for me?

Atlast i got the solution for this problem the stock ROM flashes the stock recover after the phone get rebooted.
To avoid this we have to do the following steps
• go to /system/etc/
• rename the file install-recovery.sh to install-recovery.sh.bak
• Then i flashed the PhilZ Touch CWM recovery using the following method
• Terminal emulator (root) :
- put recovery.img file on internal sdcard
- open terminal emulator
- type :
Code:
su
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=dev/block/mmcblk0p13

If you want the stock recovery back inoder to install the software update
• go to /system/etc/
• rename the file install-recovery.sh.bak to install-recovery.sh
• then the stock recovery will be reflased
Press Thanks button if i helped you:victory::laugh:
I can't find install-recovery.sh in the directory. Is it okay?
Sent from my GT-I8262 using XDA Free mobile app
It will be there if not flash the stock recovery via odin then follow the steps to flash the PhilZ Touch CWM recovery 6.27.3
I have just upgraded from ace to ace plus but i found that the only way to install recovery is by odin previously on my ace i was able to install any recovery.img usin the Command
flash_image recoveryonly /sdcard/recovery.img
So iam wondering if there is any way to install recovery without a computer?
solved there is another code for terminal and i found a flashable zip of cwm and twrp else
Hey everyone and thanks in advance!
I managed to (hard?)brick my Samsung Galaxy Tab2 with Heimdall accidentally by flashing recovery.img on top of KERNEL.
Code:
heimdall flash --6 recovery.img
Uploading KERNEL
100%
KERNEL upload successful
Ending session...
Rebooting device…
Oops.. So now I can't access download mode, nor recovery mode. The device doesn't boot to OS either. So I was wondering if it is possible to install stock rom from external microSD-card. Or is somekind of JTAG solution the only way to go?
I couldn't find any guides how to boot from external sdcard and flash a new ROM from there, so any help appreciated!

The same happened to my t110, have you used Odin? I just flashed the twrp ROM again with Odin (make sure reboot is on) and it fixed it!
