About DK: Zen RLS3 Beta
DigitalKarma decided it was time to bring the Zen flavor from the Sprint One to the International One Community. After being exclusively on Sprint forever, the next step is to share the rom with all custom Sense rom enthusiast abroad. For the first time the DK series can now be enjoyed on all carriers(International, AT&T, T-mo, Sprint) except Verizon -- credit goes to BaaadNewz for letting me use his Aroma from Insert Coin as temporary base for which this is all possible. I have been working on and off on my own Aroma for a year, but the idea is still not where I want it to be yet. It is currently a work-in-progress.
This rom is still based on 4.3 Jellybean Sense 5.5, 3.62 update due to spending a majority of time and work on it. I have spent over a month on the direction, design, theme and implementation of some mods from my own experimentation and also with the help of great minds from the community. Once the Zen theme is finished, working on the next Kit Kat version would be the next step.
Note: It usually should take about 4 minutes to boot for first time, but if not just do a hard reset(hold power down 15 sec) it should work. I also haven't test whether it works on other carriers since I'm on Sprint but it should work
Credit and Thanks

and to everyone who downloads and enjoys the rom!

Like I said , haven't tested outside Sprint I'm counting on you guys to help me

I've encountered one issue that is fixable.. If you don't have root access just go back into Aroma, and reselect SuperSU option.
And I forgot to update the zip with the current IME so there are still some blue highlights. A small flashable update will probably be expected soon

No matter what I select(AT&T,International) in aroma installer and no matter whether I select mods and hacks or don't that error keeps popping up. I can confirm it is the case with AT&T and international. Hoping that you fix this. I can confirm I clean flashed the rom.
Thank you

Q&A
Is this CM7?
No, this is a build that started from AOSP. However, some of the fixes and few features have been derived from the CyanogenMod Team, including the CM kernel.
How social is the evervolv team?
You can join us on IRC, irc.freenode.net #evervolv. Or follow preludedrew and the status of Evervolv @preludedrew on twitter.
Does this rom include the T-Mobile Theme Engine? Downloading now but I'm at work so I'll report back in a little bit. Much appreciated

This tastes smooth
Did a fresh wipe/data reset. Flashed the rom and the gb-0325 gapps. Everything installed with no issues, first boot went smooth.
It's a decent looking rom even though the font is really hard on my crappy eyesight, overall I like it so far besides the few issues i ran into. Market works and reinstalled all of my apps without issue. Everything syncs(contacts, gmail, apps, etc) Sent and received a few SMS messages. 1x/3g works. Browsed the internet. Can make and receive calls.
I thought it was a little slow after first boot but after a reboot it isn't as clunky and sporadicly laggy. Gallery took a bit initially but i think it was generating the new thumbnails
Camera force closes and does not open.
I receive an error when trying to start wifi. It just says error, I will logcat or something later when my kids aren't trying to beat me mercilessly.

The power widgets are going to be an issue for a short period. I created them with HDPI in mind, and still need to do some adapting to MDPI.

Normal distributions for phones that are supported go as follows
Test builds (current stage of the heroc), These go on irc in the main topic, i often tweet about them being there... but not always.
Nightly builds ( I call them nightlies because I used to do them once or twice a night for people back when gingerbread first came out, now i just put out nightlies when I think the rom is good, but want one last test ). - These can be found on twitter and in the IRC channels main topic.
XDA/evervolv.com builds - These are the obvious release builds... I do not do 'Stable releases' just because there's always something out there that im trying out... learning how to do.. so ya'all get what we're doing anyways. For the most part a 'beta' build is something that is stable enough for usage... yet the next week there could be something borked because im adding new things (like standalone power widgets are currently borked... working on them as soon as this message is written).
As far as the heroc is concerned, im fine with smoothtaste compiling and distributing.. ( this is an open community afterall) but i'll be doing an official release shortly (was close to doing one before 2.3.4 was merged, and then got busy with that =p)
my twitter account - @preludedrew
I post everything i do on there, kind of a 'twitlog' if you will.

[ROM] DJ ICS Plus V2.0 OC 1.728ghz (02/09/2012)

What is DJ ICS?
DJ ICS is a mix of a great theme and an arguably the best ROM for the i727.
This is what you get when you mix Sky Ice Cream Sandwich with ICS Perfection. There are two different versions. DJ ICS (based on stock skyice) and DJ ICS Plus (based on speed sky ice).
Antutu score of 7144
Special thanks to:
seanzscreams & wali01x for all their hard work with Sky Ice and ICS Perfection.
Code:
[B]Change Log:

Fixed Haptic Feedback & Vibration
A few other small fixes[/B]
Code:
[B][COLOR="Red"]Known Bugs:[/COLOR][/B]
Force close of ICS Laucher on boot
Once it the launcher restarts it doesn't happen again
There is an issue with Faux Clock
Run it to set your clock speed, but do not let it set on bootup
When this happens your second core goes into sleep mode.
I have done testing with System Tweaks and have moved to that for my overclocking needs
I will leave Faux in there for now but if I don't find a fix it may be replaced in the next version
Install Guide:
Use Clockwork Mod
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
install zip from SD Card
Restart phone and wait for everything to settle and the media card scanner to complete before touching anything.
Download Links:
Please note I have been having trouble with my Dev Host account the files say they are 0 bytes but are there if you click the download link. I have tested flashing to make sure they work

Took it for a quick spin:
First thing I noticed, the Charging Battery Icon is not scaled properly - it blinks from Fat battery (w/charge symbol) to skinny plain battery (no symbol). Flashing one of Seanz battery mods reverts the theme back to the original SkyceCream theme.
I like the the pop-up boxes and grey treatment, although they appeared a little dark compared to the ICS build my GF's Nexus runs. One of the things I did not like about Seanz theme are the blue borders and the 'thinking' swirl, I like the basic look. Other than that, was quick and speedy just like Seanz build... which I have reverted back to for now.
What I was really hoping for was a UI that could be scaled correctly with a DPI change, without various UI elements losing their formatting.
Whoah, where did haptic feedback go?
Good rom, just one think. Why did you remove at&t visual voice mail ? This is great addition if you have at&t.

Yeah I see haptic feed back isn't working on the speed not sure about stock so I will take a look. I broke it along the way some where, but will should be able to find it pretty quickly and fix it.
As for the battery, I will fix that tonight.
Any interest in a circle battery?
I am more of a stock battery kinda guy but I know some people just love that circle battery.

It's fantastic, thanks man.
For anyone who likes inverted mms, try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1559437&highlight=inverted+mms it works pretty well, Thank Jessesse for it .Later
Ive got extended quick setting fully working just need to iron out this low memory/low on space warnings in the quick settings boxes. Stay tuned ill have it out soon.If you know what i need to correct please let me know
Edit.. still getting odd popup with 0-9.back to it again.
were you getting the low mem warnings before you added the quick settings, Never got any warnings myself,,,
nope just when i flash quick settings everything works just inside the auto rotation/wi-fi/mobile network boxes theres (low on space) and (phone storage space is getting low) which is not true. im going to start all over i guess.also i cant rid the0-9 popup box, which i think is related to the text popup apk i put in the rom. This was my first ever port attempt but ill get it working.

Agreed. Good work! It's nice to see some of the mods from previous versions working on the new base. The text being wrong in the Quick Settings issue is going to be hex edit in SystemUI.apk, I believe. outerdepth had a similar issue when porting the Express. He might be able to help.
Ive been bangin away on this rom all day and i mean all day non stop. From flashing at 97% till now its been 6 1/2 hours non stop. Different mods,, stock kernel, different other kernels constant reboots, about 35 mms about 20 sms a couple hours web surfing, just playin with it non stop and im still at 47% battery. battery life is off the chart This rom just keeps getting better and better and its not even a day old yet. Im going to hang with the new freedom universal kernel for a day and then check the lionfish 1.8 universal for a day and see which ones the best...

-SmurfMod settings force close (not implemented yet)

Special Thanks & ROM History
Team S.W.a.R.M. would like to send a shout out and VERY Special Thanks to bilgerryan for his tireless work in the development of this ROM. Without him, NONE of this would have been possible.
I ported this with his permission from this EVO 4G Thread which I visit from time to time. That's when I discovered that he had actually ported it to there from the EVO Shift. That Original Thread can be found HERE. Please visit both to familiarize yourself with it's history & nuances and while you're there drop the man a big THANK YOU in the box for him and his work that we are all now using.
Thank You....... bilgerryan

Yes it is. ICS 4.0.4 running CM 3.0.48r7b kernel. Overclockable, themeable....everything we've grown to love & expect from ICS.

I'm still getting mine all settled in. I may see what's up with the smurf tweaks cause the original dev is actually a mod for the EVO Shift and them guys know me pretty well over there to say the least.
Papasmurf has it posted that he knows they force close and he has a reason for it. IMHO he may not be done with them and don't want a half usable tweaks section, or he just isn't releasing everything he has at once. Which even I do that.
I went ahead with setup wizard on boot instead of the provisioning option but that's because I don't have phone service, and still the bars show an X for me. It don't bother me because Google Voice and GrooveIP give me what I need and that's next to nothing lol.
*Dissing Motorola Below*Has absolutely NOTHING to do with the port*
The MoTo launcher has a cool app drawer and everything but lacks in settings. The dock seemed huge and spaced funny, I don't know how Motorola was happy with it.
*Back to the port*
Everything that I have needed as an option has been met, no lockups or random reboots.
One last thing I noticed about my work lol, I thought that I made all edits needed to kill the KB lights when the Keyboard was closed...but I didn't, that's an edit I'm not familiar with so ill be hitting matt up cause having all these ports from non KB phones is where it starts lol

My key lights are tied perfectly together per the light sensor but until you said something I hadn't noticed the KB was staying lit whenever the exterior keys were.

The SmurfTweaks in settings fc cause PapaSmurf never implemented them. He was going to but then his EVO died and he moved on to the SGS3. Yeah I think the dock is a little big too, it almost cuts off the clock. Other than that and no settings it works well tho, I do like the contacts widget a lot tho and if you swipe down it opens your favorites up over top... You guys have working 4G? I'm jealous.
Do it up Team S.W.a.R.M!!

not sure about ics but in jb in integers there is a line that says "lidnavigationacessibility" its default is 0 which means opening the lid has no effect on the keyboard. if you set the value to 1 it says the keyboard is accessible only when the lid is open. that is what we need!:highfive:

Yeah I didn't even look for that at all. Never edited it either so maybe my recent framework changes all need a once over. I'm not home to check it or anything but once I get home I can look for it before I settle in the study.

I hope it is that way on ICS cuz we have the same problem on the Shift. Good find!
This may be going to the Note 2 also
Edit: guess not, the dev didn't notice it was ICS lol. He is patiently awaiting my JB version in the works tho... as I'm sure you guys are too.
The scene was dead but Team SWARM is blowing up the Slide's Dev Forum!
Two new builds to test out! You guys rock :good:
Do you guys have a working cm10? I can port my Jelly Bean ROM over if you do... No offense to Team SWaRM but that is my baby and I would rather do that one myself.
Here's the thread if you wanna check it out:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2024749

Yeah that's how we have all these JellyBean ports. It's 2 threads down official CM10. I use the alpha of 1 as base because of the kernel, and using that as base has less bugs. Framework should be fine, but may need to tweak the lights some. Hit me up on gtalk tomorrow if you need some guidance on our device.

OH yes. A really nice, smooth one as a matter of fact. HERE you go!
I'd much rather see you do it anyway. IT's your baby ya know! :good: All I know is we'd enjoy the crap outta running it over here. DO IT TO IT!

[ROM][4.4.2] MIUI V5 4.9.21 - Digitalhigh Edition

Oh snap! It's that time of year again, kids.
What time, pappa Digitalhigh, what time?
Why, it's MIUI time, children!
What is MIUI?
MIUI is a Chinese ROM. Well, not just any ROM, but the most widely used ROM in the damned country.
Essentially, it's *kind of* an IOS clone...but not really. Or maybe like, if Android and iOS got drunk enough one night to get busy, and that resulted in some kind of bastard wunderOS that has a lot of the sexy sensibility of iOS, minus all the stick-up-the-buttedness that comes with it. It has a full suite of custom software, is 100% themeable, and gets weekly updates.
And it's fast.
Now, as this is my first ever release of this for the M8, please be patient as I get settled into MIUI on this device. As the days and weeks progress, I guarantee you I will be spanking in every goodie I know about for MIUI, and some others I've learned about since then.
In testing so far, I know audio, camera, video recording, phone, and 3g/LTE data work. 3G may be a bit spotty as this is based on GPE and I haven't gotten the data drop fix in yet. But it works, and it works smoothly!
I have yet to test bluetooth, headphones, etc...but this is based on the GSM version by @JTJTJ here:

And as usual, I'll be fleshing out the thread and adding more stuff as time goes on...
I'll take this...
This one too...
Thank you, been waiting a long time

Will this work with the new firmware.
sent from me to you.
Flashing now I'll give you an update on what works and what doesn't. Very excited and was waiting for thing for VZW
Edit 1
--------------
Make sure you do a full wipe before flashing rom including internal storage. Cell coverage is spotty and creating a miui account from set up does not work. Connection to WiFi takes a while the first time but eventually connects. Headphones, speakers and bluetooth do work for me, how ever certain parts of the ROM are still in chinese
Edit 2
_______
After Flashing Gapps google keyboard crashes and no longer works
Edit 3
----------------------
Everything is currently working flawless after enabling LTE, nav bar, and a keybaord.

One question, how do I get a nav bar instead of the floating back button like when iOS power button breaks

Wondering the same thing. Do you if there is an option for this already as I know that the gsm version has been floating around for a couple weeks so they may have come up with a nav bar.
And what did you do for a keyboard. I just adb pushed swiftkey and installed that

Damn I miss miui. Last build I used was on my droid x. Can't wait to give this a whirl. What's with the floating back button? That may annoy me. Def, we should have the full set of soft keys instead if possible.
How's it running for you?
Awesome, thanks for this! I haven't used MIUI for ages.
BTW, I love your OPs, always good for a laugh!
It's pretty solid I'd give it a 8/10 for a first build however 4G is not working at all for me. 3G works great along with wifi, I haven't noticed any other problems and am liking the ROM. Does take some getting used to though.

You have to go into network settings and pick lte/cdma manually...then it should work. I'm working on it now.
