[i9003][DXKP9]9 Lockscreen Ported - Link Updated[MOD]

Hi Guys,
I am Currently Working On the 9 Lockscreen Port From the XXKPM
first of all Thanks To warawiri

This Mod Is Not Complete but all lockscreen are available for users Through EDT.apk applicaton
you can select all lockscreen but you cant customize them (you cant change S2 lockscreen wallpaper )
you cant customize the app selection in miui lock (default is message )
you cant use any of the functions of EDT.apk except the Lockscreen Menu
These problems occur due to the settings.apk and TSMparts.apk if anyone can port that files you can do all functions above
(you can use the settings.apk and tsmparts.apk from XXKPM MOD it will Work)

[Discontinued][MOD][CM9]Multitasking mod / app switcher for cm9 Pico mdpi

Thanks to evilisto, I was able to mod and compile a multitasking/app switcher mod for cm9 HTC Explorer/pico (mdpi) that looks a lot more pretty. (see attachment)
v1 Features:
Dark grey backgroud.
Horizontal navigation between apps.
Swipe up or down to kill app.
Large, beautiful looking thumbnail.
v1a Features:
Same as v1 but changed background to give windows mobile look (looks much prettier).
v2 Features (Sense 4 Multitasking - what's different):
Added code to generate gradient in background.
Added title Recent Apps.
Added thumbnail Reflection.
Added display of icons above the app title.
Added tilt/rotate to thumbnail.
Note: Some people have asked me how to enable landscape view. Landscape view will work only if you are already in an app which is in landscape mode when launching app switcher or if in landscape mode in your launcher (if enabled). This will work for v1, v1a and v2 and all future versions as well.

i was tring to reverting back with your frameworks stuck at bootloop
so i flashed rom again to get phone work please remove revert method or add new frameworks

I am working on that sense 4 multitask for past few hours to incorporate it in v2 of multitasking mod. Might get it working soon. Various problems as its for aosp and ours is cm9, also its for hdpi and xhdpi while ours is mdpi. so taking time.
I downloaded the original framework zip from the server to check if it uploaded properly and flashed. it worked fine for me to revert. Your downloaded zip must have corrupted. Try re-downloading.
Meanwhile I have updated the post for v1a, windows mobile style (background change) looks much prettier now. Download and enjoy. (updating in few minutes)

Pls notice above first line, credits to evilisto? this mod itself was made based on that source. Complete sense 4 requires lots more advanced features which im trying to implement. The source is in diff format which has to aplied as a patch o the source code and not decompiled apk. It involves downloading the full repo source and the device tree and applying through linux terminal. Plus there is difficulty in changing values to mdpi and also the biggest challenge is smali codes.. But im working on it dont worry.
Edit: Sense 4 is now fully done. check first post.

Unfortunately it's because of the larger thumbnail size n mostly the extra effects such as the reflection n the 3d rotate. It's equal to running a 3d game n that doesn't go well with pico. Specially the reflections..

The difference is that when running a game, android reserves the required resources n kills background processes but for multitasking app switcher, not the case.

Multi Window Transparent & All Apps LS7, LSA, UBLS4 [MOD]

Hi guys I have modded LS7 /LSA/LS4 so the Multi Window is transparent and all apps are added.
Flash in cwm. I would suggest wiping data for FlashBarService.apk in Titanium Backup or Settings/applications then reboot..
ONLY FOR LS7, LSA or LS4 4.1.2 Firmware deodexed ROMS
UBLS4 - Download - ALL APPS or TRANSPARENT
LSA - Download - AllApps Transparent
LSA - Here is stock look Multi-Window add all apps mod -Stock All Apps

If you are having trouble after using other mods try this to fix -
* Flash my mod
* Open Titanium Backup and find com.sec.android.app.FlashBarService then press once. "Wipe Data" (or in settings/applications)
* Reboot phone
* Should be fine now
PLEASE NOTE -
If you had any issues in LS7 they will still be here in this mod.
Not all apps scale in Multi Window
If there is more than one page of apps the bottom page will not go on to bar properly.
Any issues wipe data for flashbarservice apk as stated above. This will move all apps into Multi Window bar. From here using the Bar edit button you can drag out the ones you don't use
This mod is made for standard dpi. If you want it for 240, 213 etc it may resize incorrectly. Before you ask; I will not be making mod for this

Flashed it, I used the multiwindow hack from alliance rom thread and I got this kind of bug

Even after I flashed your modded multi window with the apk wipe, still the same. I heard in alliance rom thread there is a working flashable multiwindow hack but I am lost right now whether robbie has released the fixed version or not

it won't work. You will need new LS7 firmware

Works also on Alliance Rom v0.2
I just copied over the two files to the right folder and set permissions and rebooted.
Before I renamed the existing files into .bak,
just in case it doesn't work

[MOD] [17 JUN] DLL4/5/7-LL3-DME1 (Launcher/messaging/systemui/framework/popup etc)

These little mods are for the latest (at time of writing) stock firmwares: N7100XXDLL4 / DLL5/ DLL7 and N7100UBDLL3
Whenever I flash a new ROM, the first thing I do is re-do these little mods (unless the ROM already includes them) and flash them, so I thought I would share as some of you may find them useful.
They are all in a Clockworkmod flashable zip.
*And now with CWM flashable Aroma installer with my stock launcher and PopupBrowser mods added to it, so now you can install the ones you want and leave the ones you do not want.*
Thanks to commandersafi for his tool.
Included are the folllowing:
SecMms.apk - No sms to mms convert, number of contacts limit removed, better smilies (see pic) and the option to keep the screen off when a new mrssage arrives (CWM_SecMms.apk_ScreenOff.zip only. Thanks to sling for the screen off/on mod))
SystemUI.apk - Black status bar instead of grey.
framework-res.apk - Stock Browser useragent set to desktop as default, better smilies for third party messaging clients (same as the ones in SecMms.apk), screen will now not come on when unplugging from charger/usb (I found this really annoying!), the menu bar (if you enable it) has been reduced in size (see pic to see the size it looks) and the lockscreen rotation has been enabled (only in CWM_AROMA_Stock_UBDLL3_Mods.zip).
SecLauncher2.apk - Stock launcher mod: 6 x 7 icons instead of the stock 4 x 4 and also has up to 7 icons in the dock instead of the stock 5, plus with 6 x 7 icons in the app drawer instead of the stock 5 x 5. (Only in the Aroma installer version)
PopupBrowser.apk - It is now larger (see pic to see the size it looks). I did not see the point in having the PopupBrowser so small as I was always 'maximising' it. Now, with this mod, there is no need to. (Only in the Aroma
installer version)
SamsungWidget_WeatherClock.apk - This is the default weather widget from the Note 1 (N7000) which has the 5 day forcast on the widget, it has been modded to fit the Note 2 (N7100) screen size (see pics). Even the app the widget opens up into has been modded as they both bled off the screen due to the Note 1's screen resolution, This widget is an addition to the already installed Accuweather widget and nothing gets removed or overwritten. And I will add that they took me hours to sort out! (It is in its own CWM flashable zip)
You should be able to use these mods for odexed as well as deodexed roms, as the odex files for SecMms.apk, SystemUI.apk, PopupBrowser.apk and SecLauncher2.apk, if you have them, will be deleted when the apps are flashed, I have not tested them on a stock odexed rom but there should be no problems.
Both flashable zips will work on stock (and maybe custom) XXDLL4/5/7 and N7100UBDLL3.
How to:
1. Download the CWM flashable zip
2. BACKUP YOUR ROM! Just in case.
3. Reboot into recovery and flash zip.
4. Reboot.
5. Click 'THANKS'

*If you use your Note 2 to download the file, please use a browser other than the stock one, otherwise it may just download a large .php file.*

2. Copy over the modded SecLauncher2.apk to /system/app, rename to SecLauncher2.apk , set permissions, reboot, done.
Please note SecLauncher2_10x6x8_NoScroll.apk will have no app labels on the home screen pages due to the cells being so small.

Please note CWM_SecMms.apk_ScreenOff.zip is the same as the mod above but with the added option in the app settings of having the screen come on/stay off when a new message arrives, if you have an odexed rom, make sure you delete the SecMms.odex file before flashing. Try using a different browser, the file is fine.

I have just installed the latest N7100XXDLL7 and these mods work as they should, which is no surprise as DLL7, DLL5 and DLL4 are essentially the same

I tried to install with CWM Touch 6.0.25 and aroma didnt start. I tried twice. Wanamlite DLL5 here!
I moved the file I wanted manually.

Hello padlad,
Thank you for the mods.
I have one important find that you should know. IT DOES NOT WORK CORRECTLY, specifically the framework-res mod, WHEN Simplistic Framework is installed. I'm pretty sure I installed everything correctly. So there must be a conflict somewhere.
What happens - the home screen shrinks to about 1/2 the size, on all pages.
I'm reverting back from a backup and will install only the SecMms mod in Aroma. I'll let you know what happens.
Update - All is good with just the SecMms mod.

I'm running my launcher @ 270dpi and with your launcher mod looks really great but when I open a folder the size is really small.
Anyway to increase the folder size to the same as original and remove page dots?

Edit: nevermind I modded my original omega 10 launcher with default folder settings and 6x7 app draw and at 270dpi it looks awesome.

Try using a different browser, the files are ok.

Added a resized (larger) PopupBrowser mod (see pic on first post) to the Aroma package zip.

Hi dear X2 users. I developed a custom rom which is stock based.
Rom features:
I must say, I make this rom like an official Nokia Engineer. So I dont use any hard modifications. It doesnt include GAPPS and SuperSU.
My main goal was lighting and stability.
-deodexed
-insecured kernel
-busybox
-adblock hosts file
-removed nearly all preload apps except Microsoft's
-removed Nokia Store and its components
-transparent notification panel
-new boot and shutdown animations
-new build.prop
-new microsoft office apps (they are removable)
-replaced old here and mixradio with Google Play Store's
-cortana beta
-transparent homescreen app icons
-all apps icon colors changeable
-modified settings menu
-modified systemui and res-framework
-all default widgets are transparent
-replaced pink icons with purples

Have you done any modifications to shudown screen? I hate the stock shudown screen which has no reboot options...

@symbuzzer there is a lot of methods on how to create a flashaple zip you just have to google it, and i found a sample flashaple zip that could be used i didn't try it but you can.

All for you to just take 4 files from your project boot, recovery, system, custom, and move them into this file and all the firmware is ready for Recovery
