Hi, everyone. I'm new here. Hope someone answers my question.
I have a brand new Sony SW2 and I tried to connect ti with my Xperia ZL, the problem is that my watch gets stuck in the sony logo, it doesn't do anything else. I made a chat with sony support and they told me to update the software, and that's what I did. I updated it but it still gets stuck in the sony logo, but now with the legend: .3 25 11 in the upper left corner in the screen. I havenĀ“t accessed to the menus since I bought it. Can someone help with this? Thanks
Oh and BTW, I have the smart connection installed in my Xperia ZL and the smartwatch plugin too.
Restart both(device+SW2). If not reinstall again apps.

You can press and hold down the power button on right of the watch.

I've done that a dozen of times and it still stucks in the sony logo...
Setup the updatesoftware ready to flash. Turn the watch off or just quickly connect it when starting. Directly after its on press and hold the power button for a sec. It wil start flashing.

Phone details:
Samsung galaxy sl GT-I9003
stock rom DDLF2
Stock kernel
No root
No OC
Details of the issue:
i charged my phone overnight and when i turned it on,it came upto the samsung screen and the screen vanished and it hasnt been able to boot up since,i tried to drain the battery overnight but that didnt seem to help either, its stuck at this blank screen.
I tried reinstalling the battery too but the phone would automatically start up,i could manage to enter the download mode for like 3 secs ,i connected it to my pc via USB but it recognized it but couldnt install the drivers in such a short time, odin doesnt recognise it either
Here is what happened when i took it to the samsung service centre:
The service guy there told me that the hardware is perfectly normal and he checked it infront of me,he told me that the charging pin is slightly damaged but the phone charges without any issues, software couldnt be analyzed but the last time i checked it had the value pack DDLF2 installed so i dont think that would be the problem. The guy told me that the charger pin is connected to the motherboard and may prevent the kernel from booting which i think is just too DUMB even as an excuse .The phone automatically tries to turn on without me pressing the power key when i insert the battery.
I need help PLEASEEE
Thanks in advance
I think it's hardware-based problem. Better check it to legitimate samsung service center.

I cant flash any firmware, the screen fades away before odin can establish a decent connection
If the phone is getting automatically on there is some problem with the power button its pressed too much and I think the phone is restarting because there maybe some loose connection between your battery and the phone

if your phone automatically tries to power on as soon as you insert battery then it might be your Power button problem...
btw lets just consider this case.. what happens when your phone(battery inserted) is connected to charger... how does the screen behaves and what you see on the screen?

The service centre guy tried the power button as a few times and fixed it up by disassembling the device
When i connect the phone with battery into the charging port it behaves in the same manner ,it would automatically turn on and the screen logo (Samsung ....) would then disapper and there would be a blank screen in its place for like ever till it charges (i cant really tell when its charged)

I don't think using the word RAPE earns you much respect.
Oh and it's a tablet not a phone.
I use screen off fx for powering down, gives a virtual powerbutton on your screen with some nice off-effects, and its free! That halves use of powerbutton.

essentialy it's the same as using button too often that will make the slot(pen?) broke like my NDS stylus, i rarely use pen too

I use the app "rebooter" found in the app store to have a widget on screen that turns off, reboots or goes to recovery without using the powe button.... You do need to rooted to use this however...

Because it sounds like a hardware issue.
You will have to RMA it. Have you spoke to ASUS support? Likely you'll need to pay the Motherboard repair fee as well
Turn off the tablet normally. Then plug in the AC adapter. Plugging it in to charge should turn on your tablet without you having to press the power button at all. Try turning it on that way and see if it stays on.
Well it does turn on when i use the cable
But i still dont know how to fix the button problem

Does your power button still "click" up and down when you press it ? because mine got stuck in the down position which might cause it to reboot over and over but not shutdown? Does it vibrate when you release the button before it turns itself off or just instant dead screen?
No . it does click and when i release it , it shutsdown amidetly like the power is out wich is realy wieed

Sent from my ASUS Transformer Infinity TF700T via XDA Premium HD
well i would but the tablet is unlocked so i have no warrenty .
You do, but they'll likely try to get you to cough up for a new Motherboard.
So on the sounds of it you'll either have to do that to fix it, give up on it and sell as broke, or see if a local comp shop can open it up and see if there is a faulty connector to the power switch.
Unless anyone else has a solution, but it sounds hardware based to me
You seem out of luck but have you tried keeping it pluged in for a long period of time and maybe repetitively pressing the power button really hard to see if you can lossen it up a bit. Also you can turn it on using the cord correct? What happens when you unplug it? You lose power?
Yet another issue with my shield but this I can't figure out. I was gaming through hdmi and after i was done i closed the lid and opened it, it would not boot. It WILL charge, the nvidia logo pulses and thats it. Computer doesn't detect it. Still no idea. It is rooted but was done properly and was done awhile ago. Is there anything to do to hard reset or boot the bootloader or anyway to boot like on android phones? Please help! (I will keep updated) Edit 1: hooked back up to tv, it detects signal but it's a black screen.
Hold the power button for 15 seconds. That will hard power it down...

Hi there. Hope this in the right section.
I've recently rooted my C6603 with kingo root but remain stock. My problem is my fone now randomly shuts down for no reason. I can be doing anything like fb, messaging the Mrs, playing a vid or nothing at all and it will shutdown. Not power down. Just go black. Then it takes me several attempts starting it back up. Maybe someone can recommend a stable Rom perhaps or is my Xperia Z is stuffed? Cheers in advance...

I've been waiting for a reply for ages now. Just one question or two I guess...
My PC recognises the tab with a noise. Doesn't that mean its only soft bricked? If so, how do I get into recovery mode when it does nothing else. It doesn't even have a removable SD card... Or maybe I am screwed...
