Does anyone have an installer for the 4.2 camera app. I used it on a TW room (can't remember which) and i loved it. I flashed an unofficial cm10.1 and lost it. I tried searching and only found details for the gnex

just know there has been some issues using 4.2 photsophere camera on 10.1; you have to touch screen to focus, or it will lock up. would suggest reading 10.1 forum in Original Android section

Yeah, just don't post any questions there.

Camera doesn't work....is that a glitch with 4.3 ROMS for us?
Yes but you can use a third party app and it should work at least it does on our device

I get the same thing with quickpic.
Also auto briteness isn't working. Will get some logs up in the dev thread.
Thank you guys for giving us beanstalk! The ROM is great so far we already know WiFi isn't as strong but feels like it's stronger after running it for a bit. Camera does fc but was able to view photos in gallery. I noticed the torch doesn't work and that includes the flash when taking photos I'm sure you guys were aware. Anyway its my DD, beanstalk is sick! Don't think twice just flash it

So, I know that if you flash CWM 10.2 you won't be able to flash anything that isn't 10.2, but what if I restore a backup will it 'restore' regular CWM orrr.. ?

The only thing that's stopping me from using this daily is the camera, and I'm sure that bug will get licked soon enough Thank you for everything that you do!
I just want a CM nightly of this.

I can confirm fast burst camera works fine.
With the gallery or 3rd party gallery rebooting the phone. I had to hide my videos (mp4s). After hiding them from the media scan it works fine.

Interesting, I'm about to re-flash the new build that he posted this morning, and then I'll try that. I never had issues with the gallery and I'm assuming that's because I didn't have any videos? Anyways, Thanks!
Finally had some time to flash. Did a complete wipe and empty internal/external SD cards.
No issues at all besides camera not working. Any other camera app works fine (snapchat, instagram, facebook)
WiFi works great. Cell data works great.
Looking forward to a plain CM 10.2 ROM
EDIT: I'm also on the herc JB radio

I'm not sure why photo sphere stopped being included in roms. But it seems any updated roms do not have this feature. Is there anyone willing to get it working as a flashable zip?

You can just install it and add it in yourself.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2341332
It installs like a normal app, if you're running touchwiz it'll show up as a second camera, if you're running AOSP you'll have to remove the camera first.

I uninstalled the Nexus camera due to the photospehre crashing and installed the Google Play Camera and the photosphere works just fine.

Yes, but you're going to have to uninstall the stock camera first.

you will need the proper framework/.lib files. cm uses its own camera app.
I know cm has its own camera app but I would like the stock one with photosphere .

You can always give it a shot. I stay away from cm because stock+ xposed has same features without the bugs.

So I just switched to CyanogenMod 11 and the only thing I miss from stock HTC is their camera app and gallery. It had a lot of cool unique features that the CyanogenMod camera doesn't. I tried installing it from the titanium backup I made before I flashed CyanogenMod but it failed. I found the gallery app on Google play but it wouldn't work. Is there anyway I can get that camera and gallery working in CyanogenMod? If not, are there any custom ROMs that have it?
TIA

Tried installing the HTC Service Pack from the Market Store? That has always worked for me. Hope it helps you out.
Duo camera only works on Sense. I've been using camera fv5, as its much better than the google cam.

It won't work. You are trying to install HTC sense specific apps on an aosp ROM.
Are there any sense based custom ROMs
